Good afternoon wrestling fans. It is time to announce the 2015 MWR Sexiest Male of 2015. Throughout the week you girls (and guys?) have come to Missouri Wrestling Revival.com website to vote for the man that you feel is the sexiest male in the Midwest.

First off, thank you so much, to EVERYONE that took the time to nominate and work with us to make this a success. What a great group of sexy men those were in the contest that can really entertain you in the ring as well as take your breath away. For the wrestlers and their friends that helped us find photos and shared the links to their fans and friends so they can come find the poll on MWR, thank you so much.

Early in the week, “The Sex Icon” Ryan Slade took the lead, and then Dustin Bosworth took over the lead by 3 votes. Sean Orleans would blow away the competition with a strong run midweek heading into Wednesday with an astounding 59 vote lead ahead of Bozworth. On Thursday, I could not believe that Brandon Aarons made a run to try to catch up with Orleans. Aarons would be able to take the lead on Friday by 2 votes and back and forth their fans went. Orleans looked to maintain the lead once again as he went up by 13 mid-afternoon.

With one hour to go it was back and forth with Orleans leading by 11. At 11:30 p.m. Aarons looked to be fighting but by being 6 votes behind time was running out for him and his fans as Team Orleans was still going to the polls. Amazingly with 13 minutes to finish the night Aarons’ fans were able to get enough votes for the tie.

Brandon Aarons’ throughout the contest biggest lead were only 2 votes, so the question was could he handle a last run from Team Orleans fans to be named the 2015 MWR male of the year? In an exciting 9 min flurry the votes came in as Aarons’ pulled away with a 9 vote lead. I watched the polls in the final 3 minutes as it was quiet as a mouse and as the clock struck Midnight, Brandon Aarons had won the 2015 MWR Sexiest Male of the Year.

Look for MWR in the near future to honor Brandon Aarons for his win as we will present him with THE 2015 MWR Sexiest Male of 2015 trophy.

1st Brandon Aarons
2nd Sean Orleans
3RD Dustin Bozworth
4th Devin Thomas
5TH Ryan Slade Read the rest of this entry »

Dynamo Pro Wrestling electrifies Fenton, Missouri

Jeremy Wyatt has his eyes set on Jake Dirdens Dynamo Pro Wrestling Championship. In Fenton, Missouri during the presentation of Dirden’s MWR Wrestler of the Year plaque he sent a message to the champ and came within 1 second of adding the Dynamo Pro Title to his resume. – Photo credit Stephen Jones

By Patrick Brandmeyer

Dynamo Pro Wrestling returned to the Stratford Inn in Fenton, Missouri for another great night of action…it would be an eventful evening in more ways than one.

The night started with “TNT” Keny G speaking to the fans about his upcoming benefit show for stroke victims. Keny recently suffered a stroke himself and wanted to bring the St. Louis wrestling community together for a good cause.

After that, MWR’s own Brian Kelley presented two of the year-end awards for 2013; Alexandre Rudolph received one of the “Future Star” awards and Lucy Mendez was crowned “Sexiest Female Wrestler” of the year.

The first match of the night saw a battle for tag team supremacy…each duo in the triple threat match had the winner of the night’s Tag Team Title match in their sights. The seemingly mismatched duo of Evan “Money” Morris and “The Littlest Viking” Jake Parnell worked surprisingly well together over the course of the bout. High Level Enterprise(Jack Gamble & Jon Webb) seemed to be on the verge of victory, but a miscommunication between the two led to The Elitism(Brandon Espinosa & Ace Hawkins) picking up the win.

Ricky Cruz(now accompanied by Lucy Mendez) got into a verbal altercation with Executive Director Mark Bland over his lack of title shots…Bland told him to work his way up the ladder if he wanted another championship opportunity. Ricky had a tough test in the form of the returning Brandon Aarons, but Lucy’s distraction led to Cruz scoring the victory.

Dan Walsh hoped to get back on track against “Showtime” Bradley Charles, but Brandon Gallagher stuck his nose into Walsh’s business once again. While “The Alternative”‘s attempt at interference backfired, “SBC” was still able to surprise Walsh with a TKO to beat the former Dynamo Champion. Walsh nearly got his hands on Gallagher, but his blue-haired nemesis got away…leading to Walsh challenging him to a match at Dynamo’s return to Glen Carbon.

Elvis Aliaga hoped to earn his way back into title contention against Mark Sterling; it seemed like Sterling’s Crossfit experience would give him the conditioning to outlast the current WLW Champion, but Aliaga was able to escape with a quick crucifix pinfall.

Powerhouses clashed as “The Urban Legend” Kevin X locked up with Alexandre Rudolph. “The American Viking” gave the veteran a good fight and Kevin X barely edged out a win with a small package.

Brian Kelley presented the 2013 MWR Wrestler Of The Year award to Dynamo Champion Jake DirdenJeremy Wyatt took the opportunity to attack Dirden from behind, hitting him with the plaque and laying him out with the Lightning Spiral. Dirden was able to return to the dressing room under his own power, but Wyatt had scored an early advantage in their rivalry.

After being robbed of the Tag Team Titles in February, The Bumrush Brothers(Shorty Biggs & Outtkast) were fired up to reclaim what was once theirs. The Black Hand Warriors(Michael Magnuson & David DeLorean) were confident under the guidance of manager Travis Cook. The momentum swung back and forth between two of the top teams in the Midwest…but the match broke down into a huge brawl at the end. In the confusion, Magnuson accidentally knocked down his manager Cook…the BRBs pounced on their advantage and hit a double-team faceplant on DeLorean. Shorty got the pinfall and the Bumrush Brothers were two-time Tag Champs!

The fireworks didn’t end there…as Shorty and Outtkast celebrated their win, they were jumped by Mauler McDarby and Shawn Santel! The duo had been observing the show from the audience and took the opportunity to do some damage to the new titleholders…as security ejected them from the building, the Warriors looked for some post-bell retribution until Jack Gamble and Jon Webb appeared to run off their rivals!

Dirden was fired up to avenge Wyatt’s earlier beating as the Dynamo Heavyweight Title was on the line. Wyatt had the clear edge in experience, but Dirden had a ton of momentum on top of his size and power advantage. In the heat of the battle, referee Jay King was knocked down when Dirden attempted to powerbomb Wyatt into the turnbuckles…Dirden caught Wyatt in his Asiatic Spike hold but there was no official to see the tapout. Wyatt capitalized by decking Dirden with the title belt…he made the pin cover and referee King counted three!

It looked like the Dynamo Title had changed hands…but Elvis Aliaga ran out to protest the decision, telling Jay King what had happened when he was down on the mat As a result, the ref ordered the bout to be restarted…Wyatt thought he had added another belt to his collection but it was not to be. In the end, Dirden’s power made the difference as he chokeslammed Wyatt to the mat for the win to retain his championship! Dirden was the winner and Wyatt immediately blamed the loss on Aliaga, sparking a fight between the two…what was Aliaga’s motivation? Was he ensuring that Dirden hung onto the title so he could be the one to take it from him?

Dynamo started a busy month at the Stratford Inn in Fenton…and things promise to get even more exciting as Dynamo returns to Glen Carbon and Off Broadway in the next coming days!

MWR Exclusive interview with Brandon Aarons : Down but not out, Aarons continues his dream to be the best in the Midwest.

Posted by flairwhoooooo on March 22, 2012

Photobucket

Interview by Brian Kelley

Brian: Brandon, on March 24th, 2012 in Red Bud, Illinois you make your return to Professional Wrestling after being away from the ring for 11 months, at the Independent Hardcore Wrestling Event. What exactly caused you to take such a long break in the first place after being on verge of having your “break out” year?

Photobucket

Brandon: Well Brian, I do not recall an exact incident that would have caused my problem but back in march of last year I started having nerve problems that went through both my right and left arms. I saw about 6 different doctors and they determined after numerous x-rays, MRI’s, and a ton of other tests that I had 1 of 2 problems. Problem #1 was that there was a cist full of fluid lining the inside of my spine. They told me that the cyst could burst at any time and if it did burst it would paralyze me momentarily and could cause permanent damage to my entire body. The only other thing that could think of was that I had a muscle deficiency so to rule that out I had a muscle biopsy done in September where they went in and cut a section of my thigh muscle out of my leg. Luckily the test results ruled that problem out but now I have a nice scar on my left leg for the rest of my life. Since that test came back fine they diagnosed me with the cyst in my spine. I was on bed rest the entire summer, I couldn’t workout, I had an IV in my 3 times a week feeding me vitamins and medicine to help with the problems the cyst was causing and also to help shrink the cyst. In the end the constant medication and rehab from my doctors paid off.

Photobucket

Brandon Aarons was one of the hottest wrestlers in the Midwest prior to his injury. Battles with the likes of Tyler Black, Eric Allen and Cameron Cage took its toll on the young star.

Brian: So right now your 100% healed up and ready to return to wrestling full time?

Brandon: Yes. After the biopsy I rehabbed my leg for 3 months and right around the time I was able to walk and jog comfortably on it I got cleared by my doctors to go ahead go back to living my life again. My nerve problems had stopped completely by the end of October and they said the cyst was not an issue anymore. Physically I feel amazing, I have progressed tremendously in the gym, and I have been training down at the south broadway athletic club weekly and have had no signs of previously problems.

Photobucket

The girls of the Midwest quickly flocked to the show to see the young stars good looks and electrifying skills in the ring.

Brian: Now that you have healed up and your back in the ring, What goals do you plan on Accomplishing the year?

Brandon: Right now I feel like I have something to prove. A lot of guys take time off or disappear for a period of time and then they just come back out of the blue and they are the same as before or a shadow of what they once were in the ring. I don’t want to be that guy. I don’t want to come back and be the same as before, I want to be better. I’m a dreamer Brian, I think big, I dream big. There is so much I want to accomplish in this business. I want to be the best. To be the best you have to be able to go toe to toe with the best. My goal for this year is to prove to everyone that I can do that. I know that if you put me in the ring with guys like Mark Sterling or Jeremy Wyatt that I may not be victorious but I can assure you I will give my all and push myself above and beyond what anyone has seen before from Brandon Aarons.

Brian: On that note, who do you consider to be the best right now?

Brandon: The one positive thing about being out for a year is that I had the chance to sit back and watch what everyone else was doing. To me, right now the best in this area are few and far between. Mark Sterling, Jeremy Wyatt, Brandon Espinosa, Davey Vega and Mike Sydal. These guys are wrestling the best Wrestlers in the country on a weekly basis, they are traveling, they are busting their asses non stop. These are the guys im gunning for. These are the guys I want to beat, these are the guys I want to be better than. Each of these guys have given me something that has helped me along the way in my journey so far, but my journey in this business has not even scratched the surface yet.

Brian: What companies are you currently looking to work for? 2 companies you have yet to work for are the last 2 MWR Promotions of the year in 3XW and Metro Pro Wrestling. Any interest in working with these companies in the near future?

Photobucket

Arch rival Eric Allen and Aarons has been a feud that the fans have enjoyed in the past, though each man has felt it for week afterwards. This weekend the two rivals will meet again.

Brandon: Right now I am booked for Independent Hardcore Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Epic, Metro East Pro Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Prestige, and have been contacted by various other companies. I am always looking for new companies to work for and new places to make an impact, I have seen both products (3XW, Metro Pro) online before and I know that they have tremendous rosters. I would definitely be interested in working for those companies.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Brian: Brandon I think I can speak for anyone who has seen you in the ring in that we are thrilled to have you returning to the MWR Coverage area and to Pro Wrestling in general. Where can fans, wrestlers, and promoters get a hold of you and find more information on Brandon Aarons?

Brandon: The best ways to contact me are email at brandonaarons@yahoo.com or I also have a Brandon Aarons facebook page that you can message me on.

Brian: Brandon Aarons thank you so much for your time. It’s always a pleasure seeing you in the ring and I’m sure we are all looking forward to seeing you back wrestling full time and back entertaining all of us once again.

Jimmy Jacobs makes an impact- The Hooligans win more gold and Zach Gowen makes a cameo appearance in Mason Beck’s promo all at Pro Wrestling Epic.

Posted by flairwhoooooo on March 4, 2011

By Brian Kelley

This past weekend in Mt Pulaski Illinois, Pro Wrestling Epic brought to their fans once again some of the biggest and most talented names in the sport today for an action filled evening.

Prior to the evening MWR’S Dubray Tallman caught up with “Mean” Mason Beck to get his thoughts on his upcoming match with the PWE Champion The Mississippi Madman in a Steel Chain match….in the first of many surprises as the challenger Beck was ending his promo let’s find out which former WWE star showed up.

After some big matches that saw young Evan Money defeat Jordan McEntyre,
Photobucket

Alexander Rudolph over power David Osbourne,
Photobucket

Krotch taking down Eric Allen.

Photobucket

We got to see the grudge match between PWE US Champ Blake Steel and former champ Brandon Aarons. A hard hitting match that is far from over as Aarons won by DQ when Steels manager Melody interfered.

Prior to intermission we were shocked to see Jimmy Jacobs, who has torn in up at Ring of Honor, , Evolve, AAW (just to name a few) came into the ring to confront Jordan McEntyre. McEntyre had came back to the ring to taunt the crowd some more for his own amusement. After he disposed of loud mouth McEntyre he let the crowd why in fact he was there know that he was signed for Pro Wrestling’s tournament on April 29th which has been named the Epic 8.
Photobucket

Photobucket

With Jacobs signed it will be truly exciting to see who else will be signed in what could very well become something truly special.

Photobucket

When we came back the Pro Wrestling Epic the tag team belts was vacated by former champ Mephisto and his tag partner Kurt Styles who was not in the building. In a big match up that saw the Hooligans earning the belts in a win against Brandon Espinosa and Ace Hawkins.
Photobucket

Photobucket

Afterwards Espinosa turned on his partner, even adding insult to injury when the Hooligans took part in the beat down on Hawkins. Once again the talented Jacobs came to the ring this time the man to feel his wrath was Brandon Espinosa.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

In one night the PWE fans was able to see a glimpse of what is to come on April 29th.

AJ Smooth defeated a tough Knight Wagner as we geared for the main event.

Photobucket

In the main event we got to see Mason Beck and the Mississippi Madman go at each other in a Steel Chain match.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Throughout the match the sheer power of both men caused the chain to break loose. Blow after blow, back and forth the Madman and Beck went at it.

Photobucket

In the end it would be the power the Madman who would stop Beck from making the final touch of the ring post and retain his PWE Championship.

The show was over but we were far from done as the MWR Wrestler of the Night ,Evan Money had worn our t-shirt to the ring. Prior to the start of his match he threw it out to the Goldman family from Bloomington, IL. Money was more than willing to take the time to meet his young fan after the show.

Photobucket

After much hard work throughout the night we were honored to get words from Jimmy Jacobs as he gave us his thoughts on Pro Wrestling Epic’s Epic 8 on April 29th in Mt Pulaski Illinois.

Who is the MWR’S Sexiest wrestler in the Midwest?

Posted by flairwhoooooo on February 3, 2011

 Photobucket

Hello everyone it is Dubray again and in this special feature we are going to get down to the very bottom of what all girls want to know at a wrestling show. No it is not who is the champ or what happened at the last show. Yes it could be where our girlfriends got that cute dress and how did she get it so cheap.

Sorry I am getting sidetracked, what we really want to know is, who is the sexiest guy in the Midwest. I have been to over a 150 plus shows all around the Midwest the past few years and I can proudly say that I have seen most of the hard bodies in the area. While Brian is trying to get that exclusive interviews with thel ikes of the Mississippi Madman or the picture of the newly crowned Champion, my eye is on the prize.

So in honor of Valentine’s Day I have set up a poll for all the ladies in the Midwest to vote for who is exactly is the sexiest wrestler in the Midwest. The final vote will be taken on Feb 13 at 11:59

2010 Missouri Wrestling Revival Award winners

Posted by flairwhoooooo on January 27, 2011

What a great year 2010 was for pro wrestling in the Midwest. Shows throughout the Midwest showed a steady growth in an economy that is struggling.

The biggest companies in the World, WWE and TNA both had pay per views in the Midwest. Fans were able to meet the stars at TNA’S fan fest. The ST Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame honored Dory Funk JR, Bobby the Brain Heenan and Baron von Raschke with their inductions to the hall of fame during the celebration.

Wrestling returned to Kansas City in a big way when Metro Pro Wrestling debut at the historic Memorial Hall with special guest Tommy Dreamer and a TV deal on Metro Sports. Led by former WWE Superstar Trevor Murdock, the Metro roster has to step up their game if they are to be the best if they are to stand out of the 3 time WWE Tag Team Champions shadow.

We were happy to add New Midwest Wrestling to our coverage area.At MWR we have seen some of the NMW talents in past in Dan the Man and Ryan Phoenix but we quickly saw that Bobby Houston, Eric Logan and NMW Champion Jonathan Magnus are just a few that are worthy of seeing in action as well.

Once again we were able to enjoy another great PWE show at the Lincoln Balloon Festival. PWE later in the year saw Donovan Ruddick and Mason Beck go up against the fun lovin former WWE Star U-Gene and the Mississippi Madman.

We were able to see PWP get out of the grasp of the Murder Militia in a classic War Games match while on the other side of the state 3XWrestling continued their standard of providing the fans with great wrestling and an up and close look at their great website including the monthly Outside the Ring program.

In ST Louis MMWA-SICW was the 2009 MWR Promotion of the Year, but they did not rest on their laurels. They continued to train young wrestlers while bringing in some of the very best in Mark Sterling and Mike Sydal, fans where also  thrilled to see old favorites return like Danny Boy and Ron Powers.

AAPW had one of the very best feuds in the Midwest with Shane Rich turning his back on his good friend Edmund “Livewire” McGuire.

NWA Dynamo has brought back some of the GCW flavor and packed the house in a great show in the summer with Pete Madden and Mike Sharona going to war with Nikki Strychnine and Makaze in the main event.

HVW had a slow year but was proud to boast that HVW Original Santana G had made her way to Florida with a great opportunity to valet on Spike TV for TNA with Orlando Jordan.

World League Wrestling is primed to be at their very best with the young talent training at the Harley Race Wrestling Academy. Don’t be surprised to see the talents of Jason Jones, the Cancun Kid, Lucy Mendez, Jack Gamble, Brian Breaker and Ethan Wright hold titles throughout the Midwest and beyond in the near future.

IHW proved that they were one of the best with entertaining shows that grew more and more fans each time. Brandon Aarons has turned into the one of the biggest fan favorites in all of the Midwest. Eric Allen and Sean Vincent would test the skills of the rising young star.

MECW mixed hometown flavor with a dose of Windy City Wrestling, including former WWE Star Mike Anthony and the one and only Bailey Mannix along with teen heart throb Evan Money.

IWA Unlimited provided the fans of Olney Illinois with free wrestling each Wednesday. High flying and hard hitting action gave the wrestlers a chance to improve their skills in a great environment.

IWA Productions packed the house with special guest The Honky Tonk Man but it was the local fans that stole the show when Christian Rose and Danny Cannon tore the roof off the place.

NWA Supreme shows may not have that many shows but the ones they did have where filled with some of the best stars locally and nationally.

MWR wrestlers have been active working to get to the top. Mike Sydal was announced as the 2009 PWI Rookie of the year while Midwest stars Mark Sterling, Ace Hawkins, Brandon Espinosa all made appearances with Ring of Honor.

The fans and friends of Barry Ryte showed their support for their guy after he was diagnosed with cancer causing him to back out of the 2010 ECWA Super 8 tournament. Barry has shown in the ring that he has the heart of a champion, and that fighting spirit has helped him It has been announced that he has been cleared to wrestle in 2011. If we had an inspirational wrestler of the Year he would have won hands down.

Fans were blessed to have the Champion of the World Tyler Black make their way to their hometown as Tyler Black met Jeremy Wyatt at 3Xwrestling in Des Moines Iowa, while in Illinois Black went one on one with Brandon Aarons.

This fall word got out that the Future Donovan Ruddick had made his way to Florida with a developmental contract for WWE. He joined the before mentioned Black who has since lost his title to Roderick Strong but we all know the best is yet to come for Tyler Black.

I hope that you have enjoyed the coverage of all of your favorite promotions. It is with the hard work of Dubray Tallman, Mike Van Hoogstraat, Bill Smith, Gary Giaffoglione, Matt Murphy, Greg Anthony , Dartallion Allen, Mark Campos, Josh Ray and Rob Schamberger that makes the site what it is today.

We would like to thank the promoters and wrestlers that support the site for the past three years.

Last but not least thank you so much to the fans of pro wrestling in the Midwest. Take the time to see a wrestler before they become the next Superstar.

On January first we were proud to announce that Mike Chapman was named as the 2010 MWR Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. For more info on Mike Chapman click here.

Now with further ado I give you the 2010 MWR yearly awards.

2010 Wrestler of the Year

Mike Sydal-

The wrestler of the year was a close vote this year as the surge of Mark Sterling coming within votes to be named for the second year in a row for MWR Wrestler of the Year. Meanwhile Donovan Ruddick had a great push thanks to great performances in 2010 against Dave Vaughn, Mephisto, and the Mississippi Madman. Hard work would pay off for Ruddick as the opportunity that many felt was long overdue, came to pass when he was signed to the WWE developmental contract late this fall. Jeremy Wyatt and Trevor Murdock both garnered several votes thanks to what many voters voiced their respect for each of these men. Last but not least just on the outside of the voting range was Brandon Aarrons who and his former tag team partner Brandon Espinosa .

Mike Sydal toured the country in 2010 wrestling in matches each and every week. Promoters loved him, fans cheered him and the country noticed. His hard work and dedication combined with a true desire to improve earned made him the second wrestler that took part in the WLW/Noah camp that won the PWI Rookie of the Year.

Sydal was just getting started, during Wrestlemania weekend he was in California wrestling with Ring of Honor. He would continue wrestling with Ring of Honor training at their training center before making appearances on Direct TV’S HDNET against Tyler Black, Christopher Daniels and more.

In the fall Sydal returned to much fan fare. At Metro Pro Wrestling, Rock and Roll Mike Sydal was once again on TV with Metro Pro Wrestling against the former WWE Tag Team Champion Trevor Murdock.

At 3XW he was involved in one of the most emotional matches of the year when he was force to face “The Unbreakable” Zach Thompson. Thompson defeated his High Flyers’ partner Mike Sydal following a Dublin Driver in a very emotional and hard fought Loser Leaves 3XWrestling match set up by 3XW Commissioner Todd Countryman in May. Fans rejoiced when Thompson overcame the odds to defeat Brian Ash in November to allow Sydal to once again return.

Throughout the year of 2010 Sydal popped up just about everywhere good wrestling could be found.

Sydal has earned the respect of his peers and promoters and it showed in the 2010 in the final vote. Out of 14 awards committee voters the lowest Sydal got were 16.

We would like to congratulate Mike Sydal as the 2010 MWR Wrestler of the Year.

2010 MWR Tag team of the Year

Attitude Inc. (Guy Smith, Spencer Powers, and Michael Shard)

New Midwest Tag Team Champions : Attitude Inc – Spencer Powers, Michael Shard and Guy Smith

Attitude Inc is a flashy tag team that has electrified the ring at New Midwest Wrestling for the past year. All three men are former NMW Heavyweight Champions who have come together and found success. Like the Freebirds, Attitude Inc have mixed partners to their advantages. Their success and talent has won over the awards committee.

At the start of the year they dismantled the faction the Sin Club of Steve Bishop, Dave Parker and Dareian Frost in impressive fashion.

In July the they outlasted the tag teams of Logantyre (Eric Logan and Justin McEntyre) , The New Immolare (Tom Arson and Ryan Phoenix) and the Full Metal Jackals( Danny Cannon and Alex Castle) in an exciting four way match to win the NMW Tag Team titles.

In consecutive months of October and November they defeated the up and coming tag team the Full Metal Jackals (Danny Cannon and Alex Castle) to retain the NMW Tag Team Titles.

Though Attitude Inc has their hands full with the tag team of the Uninvited (Rip Mystic and Tom Arson) heading into 2011, the team can hold their head up high that MWR has named them the 2010 MWR Tag Team of the Year.

2010 MWR Promotion of the Year

3Xwrestling

3XW’s fifth year proved to be the best yet, featuring a mix of incredible wrestling, packed crowds, strong business relationships within the community, and a continuing commitment to charitable efforts.
Despite the common perception that interest in wrestling is on the decline, 3XW enjoyed consistently growing crowds throughout the year, routinely packing the Des Moines Social Club each month for events thanks to a loyal – and growing – following and strong television, radio, print and word-of-mouth advertising, not to mention the most talented roster of wrestlers in the entire Midwest.

This past July, 3XW also had the honor of being the last wrestling promotion to hold matches in historic Veterans Memorial Auditorium, a building with 55 years of wrestling history. The athletes of 3XW competed in the same building that NWA affiliates, particularly Central States, held matches years ago, not to mention some major WWE/WWF/WCW moments.

3XW’s webshow, Outside the Ring, enjoyed an increasing number of views, as did 3XWrestling.com, which was visited by thousands of fans each month.

2010 MWR Match of the Year

Jeremy Wyatt vs. Tyler Black – 3XW – April 2, 2010

Spring Showdown at 3Xwrestling was a monumental night of pro wrestling featuring one of the top wrestlers in the Midwest proving to the world that he could hang with the Champion of the World.

The two wrestled to a 30-minute time limit draw in an incredible wrestling match that earned a standing ovation from the crowd after the final bell. The last minute of the match saw referee Jeromy Robb inadvertently get crushed in the corner by both men and fall to the canvas. Black quickly nailed Wyatt with a tremendous reverse brainbuster and covered him for the pin, only there was no ref to count the pin. As Black was checking on the ref in the corner, Wyatt slowly rose to his feet and grabbed Black from behind, slamming him hard with his patented Kansas Tumbleweed (Lightning Spiral) and covering him for the pin with 20 seconds remaining, only for the ref to still be out. Wyatt screamed and pleaded for the ref to get up to no avail and he even counted the pin himself. The time then ran out before a winner could be determined but the fans gave a standing ovation.
