My Once-in-a-Lifetime Friendship with “TNT” Keny G (1967-2018)

Posted by flairwhoooooo on December 13, 2018

‘Cause I’m TNT! I’m dynamite
TNT! and I’ll win the fight
TNT! I’m a power load
TNT! watch me explode

I am taking this time to honor former wrestler, promoter and my good friend TNT Keny Garrett. I am still reeling from his loss at age 51 on December 10th. Though there is sadness in my heart that we will no longer be able to talk to each other, I would like to focus on our wild and crazy friendship.

I remember meeting TNT Keny G for the very first time in Granite City, Illinois at a High Voltage Wrestling event (his company). He had reached out on the St. Louis Wrestling message board, and asked Missouri Wrestling Revival to cover his show. He realized that if you were to have a show that it would only make sense to have as much attention on his product as possible. We walked in the building and noticed right away that it looked like the place to be.

His family and friends helped with the concession stand and were all decked out with branded tees, and the night’s action delivered shocking surprises with stars from around the Midwest and his home state of Florida. His special guest was former Wrestling at the Chase announcer Larry Matysik. Keny respected and loved wrestling so much that he knew that having Matysik in the house brought legitimacy to HVW. Keny himself was dressed to the nines, and thanked everyone for coming. I was impressed, to say the least.

One of my personal favorite photos of all time.

Wrestling started our friendship, but we eventually became like brothers. He invited my girlfriend Dubray and me over to talk wrestling, and so much more. His quick wit and sharp tongue made him a true character.

We didn’t always get along. There were times that I bothered the hell out of him and vice versa. Yet, I can swear on the Bible that Dubray and I loved Keny as much as anyone that we met at wrestling. There were so many good times with him. It saddens me more as I try to think of them all.

In fact, there is no way that I could remember them all but I would like to share a few of them on here:

Here’s 2 a better day even if only slightly better ill take it as progress here’s a snapshot from the story of my life old road dog of mine —- Keny posted these words for this photo on his Facebook

If you ever get a chance ask the former NWA World Champion Kahagas what he thought of this promo!

How Keny got the nickname “TNT,” I can’t honestly tell you, but if I was to have a gallon of gas for every time I heard it I would be driving for free to shows for life. Every time I hear it, I always think of him and I remember being on the road with Kahagas in Illinois and his ringtone on his phone played that AC/DC song. If someone told me on that three-day weekend that we heard it a thousand times, I would believe them. I can still hear Kahagas telling him to change his damn ringtone.

My friend Kari Williams (the best pro wrestling writer in this generation) stated in her post about Keny giving her advice of the who, what, where, and when over and over. Keny had these words of advice that he made his own, even though they had been around forever. He delivered them in a memorable way, just like his hero Dusty Rhodes.

He was creative and tried to give everyone a chance. He took a chance on my friend (and MWR founder) Josh Ray and me behind the scenes of HVW, making us “co-bookers.” I use that term loosely because I had no business being a booker of any wrestling company. Still, I have no regrets even though there were crazy arguments about what should be done but talk about some good times.

One argument was that I wanted to bring in the Mississippi Madman for an event. He knew I loved the Madman and thought that he was over like a million bucks and said that he didn’t want him on the show. I truly believed that he liked him as well from the get-go, but because I was such a huge fan of him, he razzed me about him not being worth a spot. I told him that if he would not book Madman, then I would pay his booking fee and show him that he would be one of the most over wrestlers on the card.

Keny quickly said that if I paid for Madman that he would let the Madman carry him to the ring like a baby. Why? I do not know why he thought that was funny. Maybe it was just to get me to pay Madman, but I held him to his promise when I did. The moment was priceless.

One of Keny’s closest friends was “Tokyo Monster” Kahagas. They ran up and down the roads long before I knew Keny. Kahagas was the premier talent of High Voltage Wrestling. There was no doubt that Kahagas was and is one of the best wrestlers in the country, but I believed that Jeremy Wyatt was the best. We would have these huge arguments about who was better night after night early on in our relationship. He would harp that I should “get my Jeremy Wyatt pajamas” on when I stayed at his house before we called it a night. It did not take TNT Keny G very long to come around to Wyatt and then I was kidding Keny G on his own pajamas.

Years later TNT Keny G became a proud owner of the Jeremy Wyatt pajamas.

Keny would be quick to tell me and anyone who would listen that it was he who made me a “wrestling journalist.” He told this story a million times about how we drove many miles to Illinois for a big wrestling show with plenty of legends. I wanted an interview with the Honky Tonk Man and Jake Roberts but I ran out of time. I was happy to get a promo from “Bloody” Harker Dirge (an underrated talker and wrestler in the Midwest).

Keny called me out that day (and years after) for giving up on Honky Tonk and Roberts, and and took me to the back.

He said, “You deserve to be back here. You work as hard as anyone to make these guys look good. You get this done.”

I conducted interviews with all the stars on this huge card.

Keny often said he was responsible for some of my success, and it’s true. He vouched for me, called me out when I did wrong, and gave advice when it was needed.

Every time Dubray and I came to St. Louis for a wrestling event, we stayed at his house. Dubray loves pugs, and Keny had a pug named Gracie. Gracie always slept with Dubray. One evening when we were to return back home for the two hour drive, Dubray told me that Keny had given her Gracie as a gift.

I thought that Dubi had begged to have the dog, and I said “No way.” That was Keny’s dog and we were not taking it from their home. Gracie had to stay there.

But then Keny explained that he was tired of the dog wanting food from the table and he was done with her. I just think he knew Dubi loved that dog and wanted to make her happy. Gracie ended up as a part of our family until she passed away on our anniversary: December 10th, 2015.

On the mic and in the spur of the moment, Keny was at his best. We did a wrestling feud with a big build with Donovan Ruddick and Mark Bland that, I swear if it had money behind it, would had packed huge houses. Bland had a popular UFC and pro wrestling radio show, Absolute Wrestling Radio, on the Fox Sports radio affiliate in St. Louis, Team 1380 AM. Josh Ray and I spoke to Keny about putting together an angle for a diabetes charity show. A little known secret is both Keny and Bland were both diagnosed with diabetes and the pair had always been active in fundraising.

The feud started when Bland, a former wrestler, bragged that he could take on any local wrestler week after week on the show. Who would answer the call? Wrestling promoter TNT Keny G and the 6’9″ Donovan Ruddick, a big star in Saint Louis.

Mark Bland has a conversation with Kenny G of HVW regarding his recent infiltration of Absolute Wrestling Radio. Contains EXPLICIT WORDS!

We went on a publicity tour to hype the match at Mark Bland’s radio station and the show even broadcasted live from Six Flags St. Louis. We taped a video at the Pro Wrestling Shirt Shop that featured an attack from Bland on Keny, forever one of my favorites. We did our best to bring attention to the wrestling scene in the area through Absolute Wrestling Radio, and had fun doing it.

It was common to dine with legends at the Garrett dinner table. I remember Larry Zbyszko and Mike Sydal sharing stories in Keny’s living room after a HVW event. I wish I would have gotten our photo with each other! Still, I experienced it, thanks to TNT Keny G.

After one visit at TNT Keny G’s Dubray made the mistake of leaving her sweatpants that had the words Flirt printed on the back of them. This would not be a big deal at most homes, but Keny saw this as a way to rib Dubray in a way only he could. One day I received a call from Dubray telling me that Keny was in Florida visiting his family and had tagged some photos to her. Awesome, he wanted to share with us what a good time he was having.

Nope, they were photos of Keny holding up her Flirt pants in different States. He was entertaining himself with joking with her, and it did not stop there. He somehow talked WWE Legend Larry Zbyszko to hold them up in a photo. He got his daughter Santana G and another female wrestler to pose with them for a photo. Keny was proud to say that he went on tour with those flirt pants.

This year I have lost a lot of love for pro wrestling. That does not mean that I will ever quit but I have slowed down making trips. This summer, I took a job as an assistant manager at a convenience store that had me working a ton of hours.

Keny told me that if I came to St. Louis and took him to the premiere of the movie “350 Days,” he would pay for it. I was not interested in the movie, but because Keny wanted to go, I said yes. I am glad, not because I enjoyed the movie, but because in the past few years it was hard to get him out of the house. On that night we did, just like old times.

Keny could be so funny. A natural storyteller that often would have you wonder if you were being told the truth. He could be overbearing and political incorrect even during the days of that not even being a thing. His friends referred that to “Keny just being Keny”.

TNT Keny G proudly teamed up with Dynamo Pro for a MS Fundraising effort.

Though in the crazy world of pro wrestling were everyone is a taker, Keny was a giver. Even after I covered his promotions High Voltage Wrestling, and sent him photos he was always there for us. We were so different in so many ways. I remember going to a St. Louis Cardinal game and he loved to leave shows early, the Cards game being no different. He knew that if I went somewhere then we were staying to the end. He razzed me about leaving but we did stay to the last pitch.

Dubray and I were never without a place to stay when we came to town or a bite to eat with Keny living in South County. He was a big part of our relationship and would have been one of my best mans if we would of gotten married in Vega during the CAC reunion this year. He often bragged about keeping us together (even though he stirred the pot sometimes lol) so in what seems like a rib (A practical joke played by or on a wrestler) Keny, like the pug (Gracie) that he gave us passed away on our anniversary. I would like to think that it was his way of making sure that we would never forget him. Like there was ever a chance that that could happen.

Thanks to Keny, I have made countless friendships and experiences over the past decade. I could write a book about them.

TNT Keny G loved his family.

Photo Thomas Rude

Most MWR fans know of his daughter, Santana G. She has become one of the top women wrestlers in the world. I was blessed to see her first match and watch her debut at Harley Race’s World League Wrestling. Her dad supported her at all times and was so proud to see her in Japan and on the WWE Network.

He was just as proud of his other children too, and I was able to see his boys Dusty, Sam, and lil’ Keny grow up. He loved them with all his heart, and as he grew sick they were there for him. Keny had a daughter Savannah and a granddaughter in Florida that he thought of often as well. He loved his wife Luanne who was just as quick-witted as he was.

TNT Keny G, we love you and we will always remember you.

Keny Garrett

A Perfect Night for MWR at SICW – Dubray Tallman Says Yes

Posted by flairwhoooooo on October 25, 2015

 photo 12 1_zpsaoq4xc2b.jpg

Brian on his knees proposing with the “good guys” from SICW ,Brent Meyers, WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Cowboy Bob Orton, and “Old School” Chaz Wesson showing their approval with a thumbs up for the proposal as Dubray Tallman accepts the ring while the “bad guys” “The Tokyo Monster” Kahagas, Wyldefyre, Curtis Wylde and SICW Champion Flash Flanagan shows their disapproval. Special edit to Derek Sharpe who unfortunately had to take out Ron Powers on the good side because the room was not big enough….

Missouri Wrestling Revival has had the pleasure to support pro wrestling in the Midwest for the past 8 years by covering the biggest events, awesome matches and moments in hundreds of events. During that time we have provided a home for fans to come to so that they are aware of where to be and why, with over 4,000 posts and thousands upon thousands of photos of the young wrestlers in action looking to live their dream as a wrestling superstar.

While MWR has been blessed to have the support of promoters and wrestlers around the country, and have our very own Yearbooks on Amazon.com and MWR T-shirts sold around the world on ProwrestlingTees, our biggest achievement most definitely has been the positive relationship with the wrestling community and the fans around the country.

They say that behind every good man is a good woman. For myself that has been Dubray Tallman. I had met her over 11 years ago and during that time I wish that I could say that it has been easy, but alas we have had highs and lows that have been self-inflicted at times. Yet, there is no doubt that there has been no women that I have loved as much as I have loved her.

As we were dating early on, I took her to see Harley Race’s World League Wrestling and Kansas’s Central States Wrestling. At the events we would build a foundation of friends in and out of the ring that we still share to this day. Our life would change forever on a day that my friend Josh Ray, called to ask me if I wanted to contribute to a website called Missouri Wrestling Revival. Early on it was Josh, myself and a talented young writer still in High School from St. Louis named Kari Williams who hoped to present a professional positive view of the local wrestling scene in the Midwest.

Years would pass and both Josh and Kari would go on to bigger and better things in life, but Dubray and I would travel to over 40 events a year in Missouri, Kansas, Illinois and Iowa. The amount of miles, money and time to do this site has taken up a huge amount of the past decade for the two of us. Dubray has never been a wrestling fan, but has always been there to support my love for pro wrestling.

So when I decided that I should ask my true love to marry me, I wanted to do something special that she would remember for the rest of her life like the best anniversary gifts. One of my most vivid memories growing up was Macho Man Randy Savage proposing marrying Miss Elizabeth, and I wanted to provide Dubray a moment where she was the main attraction for our biggest moment to date.

The decision was where to have the big moment. First and foremost, Kansas City has always been like my first home as that is where we went for over a year to start to check out the stars of CSW. Today, wrestling is even bigger and better there as Metro Pro Wrestling is the place to be in Kansas City every other month. The Turner Rec Center is always packed with close to 400-to 500 fans that we are very close to. The promotionis also the  home to my close friend and the Artist of Champions Rob Schamberger while having  a great mixture of talent that we have supported in several promotions. So Kansas City would have been a great choice.

During the past couple of years our finances have been depleting as disappointments with jobs and our four kids going to college that our visits to Iowa has dwindled considerable. Still every time that we have made our way to the beautiful state of Iowa, it has been a true pleasure as the wrestling has been fun and the people are so awesome. We have seen that during the 2013 3XW Iowa Latino festival and this years Jeff Thompson Memorial event. I have long considered Iowa fan favorite Mark McDowell to be one of my best friends and it would be a pleasure to have done it at either PWP or 3XW.

Yet, St. Louis was the one place that I felt that it would be the perfect place to propose to Dubray  due to the fact that it was the home of the majority of the promotions that we cover. It would allow a chance for all of our friends and fans of SICW, PWCS, WLW, Dynamo Pro Wrestling, New Breed Wrestling,  MMWA,PWE, St. Louis Anarchy, Proving Ground Pro  and High Risk Wrestling to make the trip to see put my heart on the line.

I decided that the SICW’s home of East Carondelet, Illinois would be the perfect place to do so as the the Community Center is always packed with fans that have become friends for years, and is the home of  St. Louis’s only TV tapping SICW Wrestling Explosion. Add on the fact that promoter Herb Simmons and his wife Mickey have been very close friends and the ring announcer/commentator Dr. Drew was a friend of ours long before he earned a career in the sport, I had faith that they would do what they could to make it go as smooth as possible.

On the way home from the historic WLW Ric Flair/WWE/NOAH/NEW JAPAN camp event in Troy, Missouri in August I made the call to ask Herb if it was possible that I would be allowed to propose to Dubray in the ring in the near future. My idea was to have Herb announce that he was going to present us with an “award” to thank us for our support of pro wrestling in the Midwest. Beings that she was included in the announcement from Herb she would be required to be in attendance that night. A quick note, Dr. Drew would cement that thought in her head in a positive light when he announced during their TV show that the “Queen of MWR” Dubray and I would be there to accept the award.

Herb asked me if I would like to do it at the October event as it was going to be a huge night with the St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame. I was concerned that we would be trying to take away the focus of the Hall of Fame induction, to which Herb stated that he believed that it would only add to the occasion. So with his blessing and help the day was set for the big announcement.

I have never been good on the mic, so it has always been a good that I have been working behind the scenes through the website and photos. When it was time to put my heart on the line, Herb was a 100 percent right, the time could not have been any better. Thanks to the huge night of honoring Bill Apter and Eddie Smith into the Hall of Fame, there was many friends in the building that may not have been there otherwise as friends came from Minnesota , Iowa and beyond.

During the week I had watched some proposals online to help me find the right words and actions to make her moment as special as possible. With time on my hands I also watched some proposal fails that were funny, but a possibility for us to be included if I was to total mess It up.

Before I knew it, we were in the ring accepting our award, and as we had planned Herb and Drew encouraged Dubray to show off our new plaque to the fans as I prepared to get on my knees to ask the biggest question of our life. The moment was a blur, but I will forever remember the huge pop from the crowd as she said yes. Throughout the night, friends and people I did not know were all smiles as they congratulated us on the big moment. Looking back I know in my heart that it was a huge success as among those that were happy for us, there were many young kids around the age of 7-15 that stopped me to congratulate me on doing it in the ring, they thought it was so cool. Kids are as honest as they come and anytime you can impress them (and not bore them lol) on a night filled with hard hitting wrestling action then you know it was a huge success.

Thank you to Promoter Herb Simmons and SICW for allowing us to have our moment in the ring and for all the boys and girls in the locker room who were more than happy to take a proposal photo for fun.

As always thank you to all of the fans and our friends for their sincere support and we look forward to seeing you in 2015.

New Pro Wrestling Epic Champion- It’s all about Brandon Aarons

Posted by flairwhoooooo on March 16, 2015

 photo PWEMAR2015-4_zpsfsus1qrh.jpg

Leone Mephisto was beside himself, almost to the point of insane about the attention that the Midwest heartthrob Brandon Aarons had received heading into the tournament to crown the new Pro Wrestling Epic Championship in Pontoon Beach, Illinois. In February, thousands of fans flocked to the Missouri Wrestling Revival web site to vote him as the 2015 MWR Sexiest Male of the Year. When MWR took the time to feature Aarons prior to the event on the site with 10 questions on his career and the upcoming tournament, Mephisto took exception that he was not mentioned at all as a threat to the title.

Any other time an opportunity to be honored by the fans with a trophy, would be a wonderful experience, but when it was announced to Aarons that he would be presented with the trophy prior to his match against Steven Kennedy, there was some buzz from several of the other wrestlers that felt that Aarons’ needed to be knock off of his pedestal.

In the first round, the high flyer Billy McNeil used his speed and experience to defeat the Sean Orleans protégé Laurence Johnson via a frog splash from the top rope to head into the finals of the PWE tournament.

 photo PWEMAR2015-42_zpsz7rcd0mn.jpg

The second match would feature Danny Adams and Curt Stallion in what could be their biggest match up to that point. On this night, Adams would get the victory to move forward in the tournament, but there is no doubt that you have heard the last of Stallion.

 photo PWEMAR2015-93_zpsapmy06vh.jpg

Leone Mephistos crazed obsession with Brandon Aarons was apparent from the moment he came to the ring for his match against Everett Connors. Mephisto continued to call him Brandon, before and after of the dismantling of the rookie for the win.

 photo PWEMAR2015-141_zpsdbp9zets.jpg

Mephisto was not the only one that took exception to Aarons getting attention. As MWR Fan relations Dubray Tallman was presenting the MWR Sexiest Male trophy to Aarons, Steven Kennedy came to the ring demanding to know why he was not declared to be the winner.
 photo PWEMAR2015-182_zpsgmysia35.jpg

Even though he was told that he was not even nominated to be named the Sexiest Wrestler, Kennedy would hear none of it.

Within moments the battle was on for the final spot in the championship main event match. The two had battled many times before and knew each others tendencies as they matched each others moves with a counter strike.

 photo PWEMAR2015-259_zpsoxvi1jpw.jpg

In the end it would be a vicious super kick from Aarons as Kennedy was on his knees that would send the Sexiest Wrestler of the year to the finals.

The final four way match would be an elimination style until one man was standing and thus would be named the new Pro Wrestling Epic Champion. With a vengeance Mephisto attacked Aarrons as McNeil and Adams tore into each other.

 photo PWEMAR2015-423_zpsgnlciryd.jpg

McNeil would soar early from the ring onto all 3 men on the outside to get the edge, but his night would be over just as quick when Adams used his feet for leverage on the ropes to illegally eliminate McNeil.

Aarons was in deep trouble as Mephisto and Aarons made a pact to take him out two on one. The two delivered heavy punishment in and out of the ring, including chair shots that left the star battered and bloodied. Yet, it would be Mephisto’s obsession that would leave an opening for Aarons to strike. As Adams went to eliminate Aarons, Mephisto stopped Adams, yelling that he was the one that had to eliminate him. Adams was not happy about at all, and the friendship was over.

During the battle between Adams and Mephisto, Adams was able to get the edge once again only to have Aarons surprise him with a small package to end Adams quest for the PWE title. Once eliminated, Mephisto’s psychotic tendencies came into play as he slid Adams a chair and instructed him to finish Aarons off. At first , it seemed as if Adams would decline the offer to administer the pain, but with Mephisto in his ear he snapped and began brutally beating a bloodied helpless Aarons as Mephisto looked on with a smile on his face.

After Adams was finished with his assault, Mephisto went for what he was hoping be the final pin of the match, but Aarons wouldn’t give up. Mephisto did not miss a beat as he continued his brutality on Aarons as he drove him from the apron head first through chairs that had been set up early on during the match on the outside of the ring.

As the fans looked on shocked and in disbelief Mephisto drug Aarons lifeless body into the ring only to again see their hero refuse to give up kicking out after a long 2 count.

Mephisto full of rage and hate, now with Aarons blood smeared on his face, went to the top rope and attempted an aerial assault in the form of a moonsault.

Aarons quick thinking ,even with a possible concussion, avoided the move hitting a short range Superkick as soon Mephisto came to his knees, this time however it was Mephisto who wouldn’t give up proving that he could take it just as much as he could dish it out.

 photo PWEMAR2015-527_zpsh6f0dovl.jpg

Aarons attempted to pick Mephisto to deliver a burning hammer for the win, only to receive a shot below the belt which nearly set up Mephisto to deliver the same move that defeated Everett Connors early in the night. Aarons agility allowed him to avoid the move and rock Mephisto with one last Superkick sending him into the ropes. Though Mephisto was reeling he still struggled to latch onto Aarons to regain the advantage. Yet, it would be Aarons who would counter by locking in a beautiful Cobra Clutch Style Suplex that finally allowed him to defeat the man who had been taunting him for months and secure Himself as the New PWE Champion!

Miss Natural Heather Patera Presented with the 2013 MWR FOY Plaque; Becomes Number One Contender to the WLW Ladies Championship

Posted by flairwhoooooo on July 1, 2014

“Miss Natural” Heather Patera is one of the top female wrestlers in the country today. In 2013, she claimed her second MWR Female of the Year plaque, thus making her a back to back female of the year.

On June 28th ,at the Race Wrestling Arena, MWR’s Fan Relations Dubray Tallman presented Patera with her plaque. Surprisingly, Patera was offended by MWR on the occasion.

 photo 29_zps78076abe.jpg

The reason?

Because we had chosen Troy, Missouri for the location of the presentation and not in her home state of Minnesota. She was not happy about this at all and made her feelings known, still she had her goals set in regaining the WLW Ladies Championship from Devyn Nicole. To accomplish that goal she had to defeat her arch rival and one of the most underrated female wrestlers in the country Stacey O’Brien.

Natural and O’Brien had toured the country against each other , wagging war and thrilling fans and this night would be no different. Throughout the match O’Brien was able to withstand a plethora of suplex’s, bodyslams and illegal chokes. When Natural tried to use the MWR Plaque, after the referee, Brandon Schmit was knocked down and miss, she quickly threw the plaque in O’Brien’s hands as Schmitt was coming to his senses. With Patera screaming in pain on her back and O’Brien holding the plaque, one of the Midwest’s finest refs had no other choice but to disqualify O’Brien and award Patera with the win.

Patera has the momentum as she looks to regain the WLW Ladies Championship from Devyn Nicole, but there is no doubt that we have not seen the last of Patera vs. O’Brien.

Could the next time before Patera’s title ?

Missouri Wrestling Revival has been a proud supporter of pro wrestling for the past six years. During that time we have also been very supportive of female wrestling in the area. We have done our best to help spread the word on the talented ladies in the area such as Stacey O’Brien, Lucy Mendez, Santana Garrett, Angelus Layne, Miss Natural, MsChif, the Great Cheyenne, and many others through the MWR site. We have continued to do our best to work with the premier wrestling media outlets in the sport such as Pro Wrestling Illustrated, PWTorch, Ring Sirens, and others to support the women in their dream to become household names.

In the 2013 MWR Yearbook, we teamed-up with wrestling artist Michael Liao to have a full page spread of his artwork of the ladies that worked in the MWR coverage area during that year. Also on the design. is none other than MWR’s own fan relations Dubray Tallman.

We are now offering for the first time, a color photo print of this commemorative artwork for the fans for free to add to their collection when they purchase a MWR Hat for only $15.00. So the next time you see us at a show be sure to ask to purchase a hat and receive a Free MWR Ladies of MWR print for free.

Time to vote for the 2014 MWR Sexiest Wrestler of the Year

Posted by flairwhoooooo on February 8, 2014

It’s time…….. To vote for the 2014 MWR Sexiest Wrestler of the Year today For the past three years Missouri Wrestling Revival.com has celebrated the month of February by having the fans around the world vote for who they think is the sexiest wrestler of the year. The contest is set up where we alternate the men one year, then the following year we have the women.

The first year was in 2011 as MWR fan relation’s Dubray Tallman let the ladies choose first on who they wanted to be the sexiest wrestler of the year. Chicago’s Bailey Mannix took home a whopping 43.97 percent on the way to being named the first ever MWR Sexiest Wrestler of the Year.

In 2012 it was time for us to find out just who the sexiest female was. The contest went back and forth as fans came to the site in full force to vote for their favorite. In a contest that came down to the last moments of the deadline, MsChif would take home the honor of being named the first ever MWR Female of the Year.

The next year it was to find out what guy would become the MWR Sexiest Wrestler of the Year. When the smoke cleared, it would be the exciting former 2011 PWI Rookie of the Year Ace Hawkins who would add the trophy to his collection of awards, belts and broken hearts.

The time has come for you to vote for who you think deserving for the 2014 MWR Sexiest Wrestler of the Year.

The poll will be set up from February 8th to the 13. We will announce the winner of the 2014 MWR Sexiest Wrestler of the Year on the day of love, Valentines Day!
