MWR Trading card #43 The Mississippi Madman
Posted by flairwhoooooo on April 4, 2011

Missouri Wrestling Revival has now become the Madman’s house as he is now a part of the MWR Trading card set.
One of the most popular wrestlers in the sport today, he brings the crowd to their feet as he looks to nail his opponents with his feared finisher the “Fifth Floor”.
The Mississippi Madman has wrestled around the Midwest capturing titles in both singles and as tag teams. Recently he has held the AAPW Championship and is the current PWE Champion. In a feud between two of the biggest men in the game he went toe to toe against the 6’9 Monster Donovan Ruddick at the Lincoln Balloon festival is front of one of the biggest crowds of 2010.
The feud escalated when Ruddick teamed up with his friend Mason Beck along with manager Mr Late Nite and send a beat down on the popular Champion. The Mississippi Madman would call on none other than former WWE Superstar U-Gene to help him in tag team action against the three evil doers.
Fans can also catch the Mississippi Madman tag teaming with either KC Jackson or Benz respectfully at show in 2011.
The artwork of the Mississippi Madman from the hottest comic in the Midwest, The Promotion. The promotion is drawn from none other than Rob Schamberger.
Please support Rob and his hard work by purchasing a copy of his comic for only .50 cents here.

Who is the MWR’S Sexiest wrestler in the Midwest?
Posted by flairwhoooooo on February 3, 2011
Hello everyone it is Dubray again and in this special feature we are going to get down to the very bottom of what all girls want to know at a wrestling show. No it is not who is the champ or what happened at the last show. Yes it could be where our girlfriends got that cute dress and how did she get it so cheap.
Sorry I am getting sidetracked, what we really want to know is, who is the sexiest guy in the Midwest. I have been to over a 150 plus shows all around the Midwest the past few years and I can proudly say that I have seen most of the hard bodies in the area. While Brian is trying to get that exclusive interviews with thel ikes of the Mississippi Madman or the picture of the newly crowned Champion, my eye is on the prize.
So in honor of Valentine’s Day I have set up a poll for all the ladies in the Midwest to vote for who is exactly is the sexiest wrestler in the Midwest. The final vote will be taken on Feb 13 at 11:59

Info from the New Midwest Wrestling Website
In the opener, Benz defeated TRIPC for the Central Illinois Championship, when Billy Morgan turned out not to be medically cleared to wrestle that night. TRIPC scoffed at Morgan and took on Benz, which ultimately cost him!

The second match of the evening was part of the New Midwest Wrestling Tag Team Revival Initiative. The S.I.N. Club (Steven Bishop and Dave Parker) was devastated with a loss to the newest fan favorite tag team, Zebracakes (Scotty Hostass and Austin Advent)!

Then, it what would definitely be considered a surprise, “The Dodgeball Superstar” Tyler PriegeL sneaked out a win against the New Midwest Original, Rip Mystic. Mystic seemed to be off his game, and he wasn’t happy with the loss.

Dan The Man, our own superhero, thwarted the entire S.I.N. Club with a victory over Dareian Frost. DTM is on a hot streak and we’re excited to see where it goes.

TOGA Steve Fisher chalks up another win against the unknown Masked Playboy. Playboy’s debut didn’t seem to harbor much momentum, and TOGA took the win rather easily.

We have NEW Tag Team Champions in Michael Shard and Spencer Powers. When Guy Smith was unable to make the event, due to scheduling conflict, Spencer Powers was able to pick any partner of his choosing. That stipulation created the loophole that Michael Shard (who was on a two year ban for title contention) needed. And after outlasting the strong showing of the former champions (Tom Arson and Ryan Phoenix), the breakthrough performance of the Full Metal Jackals (Danny Cannon and Alex Castle), and the proud determination of LOGANTYRE (Eric Logan and Justin MacIntyre), Attitude Inc. came out on top and we have NEW New Midwest Wrestling Tag Team Champions!

Prime Time Playa, Bobby Houston came into his match with rising star Christian Rose a little too cocky, and it cost him. One sharp Roaring Elbow to the jaw, knocked him on his butt, and down for the three-count.

And in the Main Event, Jonathan Magnus pulled out all the stops to retain his New Midwest Wrestling Championship against the Apex, Blake Steel. After an extreme catfight, a chairshot heard throughout the halls of Lanphier High School, and interference from the returning Eric Ruffington, Blake Steel was unable to reach his goal of becoming champion.
