1.) One half of the Bayou Outlaws Aaron Masterson Defeated Knight Wagner
MR K made a night of friendly & fair completion as he pitted fan favorites against each other. This was a fast paced & high impact match. Both Aaron Masterson and Knight Wagner went back and forth for nearly 10 minutes. In the end it was Bayou Outlaws Aaron Masterson picked up the win via pin fall.

WINNER: Aaron Masterson
2.) The other half of the Bayou Outlaws Maddog McDowell defeated the other half of the MECW Tag Team Champions Deliciously Smooth’s Devin Carter
Two of the biggest MECW wrestlers on the roster both figuratively and literally collided!!! Not only did these two show strength and power but they showed style with great wrestling ability!! On this night it was Maddog McDowell who picked up the win in this epic battle. In the end they showed no hard feelings and shook hands after the match.
WINNER: Maddog McDowell
3.) Matt Mayday (formerly known as Krotch) defeated Nacho O’Reily
Not only did the MECW family not witness the return of Krotch but they were introduced to a “new” MECW wrestler: Matt Mayday! Despite the new found hate the MECW Family had towards the MECW “newcomer”. He did make an impressive debuted as he quickly dispatched of Nacho O’Reily in timely fashion & also debuting with the “new” MECW wrestler was a new finisher. As Matt Mayday put Nacho O’Reily away w/ a top rope curb stomp all you could say was forget about it lights out 1,2,3 it was over.

Winner: Matt Mayday
4.) MECW Independent Champion: Gabriel Brimstone defeated Super Patrio
MECW Independent Champ took out his frustrations on Super Patrio in a harsh and timely manner. All it took was a DDT from Gabriel Brimstone who beat Super Patrio in record time!!

WINNER: MECW Independent Champion: Gabriel Brimstone
5.) The “Unbreakable” Zach Thompson defeated Jordan McEntyre
It a awesome match that pitted two of the biggest MECW Family favorites in history took each other on head to head. Back and forth this match went but in the end it was the former MECW Heavyweight Champion: Zach Thompson who was victorious.

6.) XXXplicit Content: MECW Heavyweight Champion: Bailey Mannix, Manager: “Lovely” Leon Alexander and The “Pride of Peoria Champion” Eric Allen defeated the Saints & Sinner: Brian Scrilla, Marshall Garrett, and Evan Money
In a huge match that determined the career of XXXplicit Content’s Manager “Lovely” Leon Alexander. If XXXplicit Content and Eric Allen did not win the match then “Lovely” Leon Alexander would be fired from MECW. But if XXXplicit Content & Eric Allen won the match, then “Lovely” Leon Alexander would be resigned to a new MECW Manager contract.

This match had a lot of action and high flying ability as well as some great tag team work done by Marshall Garrett and Brian Scrilla. Things got crazy when the match broke loose when Brian Scrilla went on a rampage and went after current two time MECW Heavyweight Champion: “XXXplicit” Bailey Mannix. While Scrilla and Money were taking Mannix pillar to post and with Eric Allen down it left “Lovely” Leon Alexander all alone in the hands of Marshall Garrett. Garrett forearmed “Lovely” Leon to stun him, then picked him up for the classic air plane spin, Garrett finished it off by putting Leon Alexander over his knee and spanking him. Marshall Garrett ready to put him away but the ref was distracted. This gave Eric Allen the perfect chance to waffle Marshall Garrett upside the head with his “Pride Of Peoria Championship”. Completely leveling Marshall Garrett and giving “Lovely” Leon Alexander the chance to pin him and pick up the 3 count victory.
WINNER: XXXplicit Content: “Lovely” Leon Alexander and MECW Heavyweight Champion: “XXXplicit” Bailey Mannix and”The Pride of Peoria Champion”: Eric Allen
After the match Scrilla wasn’t finished as he grabbed the mic and told the MECW Family that there was something he needed to come clean with and needed to get something off his chest. But he wanted to do it at the October 24th MECW show face to face with MECW Heavyweight: Champion: “XXXplicit” Bailey Mannix.

3XWrestling Presents Action-Packed Halloween Horror III Event
Iowa’s Top Wrestling Company Holds Premier Fall Showcase
DES MOINES, Iowa – After performing in front of a record crowd in September, Des Moines-based 3XWrestling (3XW) once again invades the Des Moines Social Club to hold Halloween Horror III. The stacked Oct. 16 event features three title matches and a battle royal, among many others.
In a first for 3XW, the main event of Halloween Horror III sees 3XW Heavyweight champion “The Rebel” Jeremy Wyatt, fresh off a victory over internationally-recognized wrestling star Al Snow, defend his championship against a challenger determined by a battle royal earlier in the evening. Never before has a 3XW Heavyweight champion had to defend his championship against the challenge of a same-night battle royal winner.
“I don’t care who I have to defend against in October – whether it’s Devin Carter, Jimmy Rockwell, Mark Sterling, Rory Fox, that punk Tyler Cook or even some fool from the crowd – I’ll beat down anyone who dares challenge me for my title!” said a confident Wyatt.
Heading into the Oct. 16 event, Wyatt, who is widely considered the best wrestler in the Midwest among wrestling fans, has defeated a who’s who of professional wrestling in 2009, including Al Snow and Ring of Honor stars Jerry Lynn, Tyler Black, Davey Richards and Sonjay Dutt. Wyatt has only lost a handful of times in 3XW in the past four years.
The 3XW Tag Team titles will also be defended as current champions The High Flyers (Mike Sydal and “The Unbreakable” Zach Thompson) battle Sexy and Smooth (A.J. Smooth and “The Canadian Sex Icon”Ryan Slade) in a highly-anticipated tag team attraction.
In a rematch two months in the making, “The Viking Warrior” Kraig Keesaman, the 3XW Pure Wrestling champion, puts his 14-month undefeated streak on the line against the challenge of former three-time Pure Wrestling champion Tyler Cook in what should be a classic hard-hitting battle.
Local powerhouse fan favorite Maddog McDowell will battle Mark Sterling, a vicious technical wrestling master, in singles competition.
Among those also competing on Oct. 16 are 3XW Cruiserweight champion Casanova, “Delicious” Devin Carter, “The Right Price” Aaron Masterson, “The Laotian Sensation” Ricky Kwong, “Torturous” Tony Sly, Brady A. Dezire, Rory Fox and more!

3XWrestling Welcomes National Wrestling Stars
Iowa’s Top Wrestling Company Hosts WWE Veterans
DES MOINES, Iowa – Des Moines-based 3XWrestling (3XW) is proud to announce the addition of two national wrestling stars to its Clobberpalooza Classic II event on Sept. 18 at the Des Moines Social Club.
Former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) superstar Al Snow, a widely-known veteran of professional wrestling and multiple-time champion, has signed to compete in the main event of 3XW’s Clobberpalooza Classic II. Snow will challenge “The Rebel” Jeremy Wyatt, the 2008 Missouri Wrestling Revival “Wrestler of the Year,” for the 3XW Heavyweight championship in one of the year’s most anticipated matches.
Snow is most famous for being a major WWE fan favorite a decade ago, when WWE television shows were reaching record cable television ratings. He’s also known outside of wrestling for being the star and head trainer on MTV’s WWE Tough Enough for three seasons and being a playable character in millions of copies of WWE video games sold.
“I have been saying for months and months and months I am the best wrestler in the Midwest,” Wyatt said. “WWE star Al Snow is coming to take my title? Well, you see, I’m Jeremy Wyatt – superstar. I have beaten star after star after star. I’ve beaten Christopher Daniels, Jerry Lynn, Davey Richards, Sonjay Dutt, Tyler Black…the list goes on and on.”
Will Snow make a huge impact and win the 3XW Heavyweight title or will Wyatt continue his dominance of the Midwest wrestling scene? Wrestling fans are anxiously waiting to find out on Sept. 18 at Clobberpalooza Classic II.
Also set for action is current TNA Wrestling and former WWE superstar “The Middle Eastern Nightmare” Sheik Abdul Bashir, who will team with his brother Arya Daivari to challenge The High Flyers, “The Unbreakable” Zach Thompson and Mike Sydal – brother of current WWE superstar Evan Bourne – for the 3XW Tag Team championship.
Bashir, a former TNA X-Division champion, can be seen weekly wrestling some of the quickest and hardest-hitting wrestlers in the world on Spike TV’s popular TNA iMPACT! television program.
He’s also famous for his time in WWE as Khosrow Daivari, where he battled the likes of wrestling legends Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker and “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels. In fact, he pinned Michaels in a match on WWE’s flagship television program Monday Night RAW.
The 3XW Tag Team championship match at Clobberplaooza Classic II marks the first time Bashir teams with his brother Arya, who is a regular member of the 3XW roster, to compete on a 3XW event.
Among those also competing on Sept. 18 are 3XW Cruiserweight champion and the 2009 King of Des Moines “The Rockstar” Jimmy Rockwell, “Delicious” Devin Carter, Casanova, Gage Octane, Mark Sterling, Maddog McDowell, Krotch, “The Canadian Sex Icon” Ryan Slade, A.J. Smooth, “The Right Price” Aaron Masterson, “The Asian Sensation” Ricky Kwong, “Torturous” Tony Sly, and more!

This is Dubray Tallman out and about mingling with the fans of the wrestling community. We all know as I had said before it is the fans that bring as much action as the wrestlers to the shows.
This past Saturday I was in Wood River, IL enjoying our friends at MECW. Prior to the show I had made my way through the crowd to find four fans with opinions of whom their favorites were and how long they have followed MECW.
I did my best to get their favorite wrestler to pose with them during intermission. Unfortunately some fans like the bad guys of the wrestling world and I was unable to get MECW management to get those guys come out for a picture with the fans. Why can’t we all just get along??
The theme of the night was that many of the fans first favorite was Dewey “Booger” Dawson who had retired at the last show so I asked them to take a moment to think of who they liked currently at MECW.
The first fan I spoke to was Kenny Busby from Wood River Illinois who had been coming to MECW since their start in. Kenny stated that his favorite was Brian Scrilla. Scrilla is one of the tough guys with a big heart and I had no problem getting that special picture with the two of them.
Up next I asked my wrestling buddy and fellow Fuzzy Hat Club member/president Terry Joe Wray (Panther) from Cottage Hills, Illinois who has been following MECW since 2007. Panthers favorite was one of mine as well Krotch, but when I went to get MECW to ask for him to come out for the picture they stated that he was in “No mood after his lost to Gabriel Brimstone” Confused I asked my friend if I could take his picture anyway.
Fuzzy Hat Club member/president Terry Joe Wray (Panther) (Photo Credit Brian “Flair “ Kelley)
I was then able to catch up with Joe VanDuran who had traveled from Chicago, Illinois to MECW for the second time to see his favorite Bailey Mannix wrestled. I knew the answer was going to be a no because Mannix is a “JERK!!” So guess what? I was right so Joe said that he would be happy to take a picture with me for the site. Thank you Joe!!
Joe VanDuran and Dubray Tallman (Photo Credit Brian “Flair “ Kelley)
The fourth fan I found was Annie Smith from East Alton, Illinois who had followed MECW for at least two years. Annie told me that Krotch was her favorite as well, so I explained to her that he was “In no mood” arrhhh… I offered her to choose another wrestler and she quickly picked The Bayou OutlawsMaddog McDowell and Aaron Masterson. They were gracious enough to take a picture with her and during the excitement I forgot to ask the two tough wrestlers for a picture with me as well.

A great night of wrestling until Krotch ruined it by hitting Gabrille Brimstone with a chair. I thought that they were friends. Krotch, I want you to know that your no longer one of my favorite wrestlers.
I want to thank MECW for allowing me to meet with the fans and will always look forward to coming back to Wood River.
This weekend I will be at Lethal Wrestling Alliance in House Springs Missouri hoping to meet more wrestling fans. If any of the LWA fans would like to be a part of “Dubi Meets the Fans” let me know. I am hoping to do four at each show. If you are not one of the first four I know that my boyfriend Brian “Flair” Kelley and I will be back to support pro wrestling in the Midwest.
Mr. K started the night off right after being off for almost two months, Mr. K let the crowd know they were kicking off the night with a MECW Tag Title match!!!!
Prior to the MECW Tag Team Championship MWR was able to catch with both the Champions The Bayou Outlaws and the Chalangers Huge In Japan. They had this to say!
Huge In Japan came out with a tremendous amount of jeer by the MECW Family. When the MECW Tag Champions The Bayou Outlaws came to the ring the MECW Family erupted cheers to show their love for the beloved Outlaws. Before Huge In Japan would let the match begin they announced that the acquired the services of a brand new manager! Jimmy Rockwell noted that their new manger had watched a particular cowboy movie over 100 times!!! Jimmy Rockwell then announced their new manager “Lovely” Leon Alexander the manager of former MECW Champion Bailey Mannix!!
With match finally getting under way The Bayou Outlaws were well in control. Especially with Maddog McDowell being the power and Aaron Masterson being the speed and agility. At one point Maddog pressed Aaron Masterson over his head in landing on Jimmy Rockwell in the corner and delivered a monkey flip!!! Maddog was also able to hit a very impressive and very powerful standing leg drop!!! But Huge In Japan soon took control with a well placed reverse thrust kick by “The Asian Sensation” Ricky Kwong!!! The one man in Huge In Japan that lets his martial arts and wrestling ability do the talking in the ring. With Huge In Japan administering a vicious beat down to Aaron Masterson. The co-holder to the MECW Tag Belts finally made it to his corner to tag in the powerful and the awesome Maddog McDowell who quickly cleaned house.
The Bayou Outlaws use each other as weapons in the corner on Huge in Japan’s"The Asian Sensation" Ricky Kwong!!! (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
Maddog McDowell landed a double handed choke slam into a spine buster!!! But the referee was distracted with Huge In Japans new manager “Lovely” Leon Alexander, so he couldn’t make the three count that Maddog definitely had!!! Maddog got up and grabbed “Lovely” Leon Alexander and asking the crowd if they want him to hit “Lovely” Leon and with the ref now distracted by Ricky Kwong. This allowed “Lovely” Leon enough time to throw salt in Maddog McDowell’s eyes blinding him long enough for Jimmy Rockwell to roll him up & collect the 1,2,3 after Ricky Kwong knocked Aaron Masterson off the apron.
Winners and New MECW Tag Team Champions:Huge In Japan: Jimmy Rockwell and “The Asian Sensation” Ricky Kwong!!!
After Huge in Japan won the Tag Team Titles, Former MECW Champion Bailey Mannix came out with Ryan Slade and the microphone in hand. He announced that his manager Leon Alexander wasn’t with Huge In Japan by accident. The fact of the matter was that Bailey Mannix was tired of putting up with Mr. K and his rules to MECW. He was sick of being shafted by Mr. K & the MECW family. He also said that Ryan Slade & Huge in Japan were tired of being told what to do and forced into matches by Mr.K!!! So they were coming together to form a faction known as XXXplicit Content!!! A former tag team that Bailey Mannix himself was one half of. The other included now retired Danny Scott. But the former tag team would be larger and more powerful than ever as a Faction!!! With Bailey Mannix the leader, there is no telling how far this faction will go. But Mr. K promises that their will be law and order within the MECW, the Mayor of Midwest promises that!!!!

In the 2nd match it was Brain Scrilla vs. “The Pride of Peoria Champion” Eric Allen. Scrilla stopped Eric Allen on one of his rants. Brian Scrilla promptly told Eric Allen that no one wanted to hear him speak and if he said one more word to expect a to fight, and he would shove that microphone up his nose!!! But with the referee telling each man to go to his respective corner, gave Eric Allen the chance to pearl Harbor Brian Scrilla.
Brian Scrilla keeps Eric Allen grounded. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
Scrilla quickly regained control with a kick to Eric Allen’s chest. With it appearing that Brian Scrilla had the match all but won. Eric Allen moved from the corner allowing Brian Scrilla to drive his knee into the turnbuckle!! One chop block to the back of Brian Scrilla’s knee, he was now on his back and at the mercy of Eric Allen. Eric Allen not only took enjoyment in the fact that he had hurt Brian Scrilla. Allen relished the fact that he could possibly put Scrilla out of wrestling forever!!!!
Eric Allen knows all the dirty tricks and will do anything to get a vicvtory. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
Brian Scrilla did not even having enough strength to stand on his left leg still put up a fight against Eric Allen. Finally Eric Allen finally missing a knee into the corner on Scrilla, Scrilla quickly retaliated with a massive clothesline!!!! Scrilla gutted it out picking Eric Allen up for a huge running power slam!!! This gave Ryan Slade the opportunity for his manger to cause a distraction and for him to take Eric Allen’s “Pride of Peoria” belt and slammed it into the back of Brian Scrilla’s injured knee. Eric Allen fell on top of him and hooked the even more damaged leg, giving Eric Allen the victory.
Winner: “The Pride of Peoria” Eric Allen
Juice Robinson and Hunter Mathews meet for the third time. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
Next the audience was on their feet for Juice Robinson an MECW newcomer who not only has strength on his side but height as well. He came out & put a challenge out to the 1st ever MECW Independent Champion Hunter Matthews. Hunter Matthews slowly made it to ring side, with pizza and water in hand. Hunter grabbed the mic and told Juice Robinson 1. He already beat Juice twice, and 2nd That he wasn’t even ready for a fight that he was still eating his dinner. Juice quickly upped the ante and told Hunter Matthews that if he beat him again, that Juice Robinson would leave MECW for good and never bother Hunter Matthews again.
Juice Robinson sends a message to Hunter Mathews that this is his night with a powerful shoulder block(Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
Hunter quickly agreed to the match, Hunter Matthews quickly took control early on. Juice seemed to take quite a beating from Hunter Matthews. But the match was all but over when Juice Robinson started to make a comeback on the always cocky Hunter Matthews. Hunter even resorted to trying to cheat to beat Juice. But this time around Juice was too smart to get caught in one of Hunter Matthew’s tricks.
Speed and Power, Juice Robinson is blessed with both, just ask Hunter Mathews.(Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
A quick three count later and Juice Robinson finally was able to defeat Hunter Matthews for the very first time!!!!!!

Winner: Juice Robinson
Match Four was the triple threat number one contenders match for the MECW Heavyweight Championship!!!
It was “The Unbreakable” Zach Thompson vs. Evan Money vs. Bailey Mannix
Bailey Mannix is in the head of the fans just as much as he is his opponents. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
The Unbreakable" Zach Thompson and. Evan Money double teams into the MWR January Wrestler of the Month Bailey Mannix (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
This was a high impact match, high flying, and fast action match. Zach came off the top rope with impressive high flying moves. Evan Money was flying over the top rope throwing caution to the wind and himself at Bailey Mannix!!!!

Zach Thompson proves my point that he is one of the most underrated high flyers in the game. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
Bailey Mannix can not believe his eyes when Evan Money comes off the ropes. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
But it didn’t take Bailey Mannix long to gain control of the match and took Zach and Evan not only to their limits but from pillar to post!!! The MECW Family even saw Bailey Mannix take flight in this match!!!! In the end though Zach delivered a germen suplex on Bailey Mannix & Bailey Mannix executed a Northern Lights Suplex on Evan Money!!! The referee counted the 1,2,3 but the problems were just beginning. It seemed to the referee that all participants in the match had their shoulders pinned to the mat!!! Mr. K came out spoke to the ref who then went to the back and reviewed the tape. Mr. K came back with the ref’s decision stands and that all three men are the number one contenders. So in April 25th Zach Thompson, Evan Money, and Bailey Mannix would face the MECW champion in a fatal four way match!!!!
Winners: Zach Thompson, Evan Money, and Bailey Mannix
After intermission the next match was Jordan McEnytre’s return match!!!!
Jordan McEntyre vs. “The Canadian Sex Icon” Ryan Slade
Ryan Slade makes Jordan McEntyre scream. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
The she devil Jenna Stark gives Ryan Slade a hand. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
This match being Jordan McEntyre’s return match to MECW, Jordan didn’t seem to show any sign of ring rust. But the “Sex Icon” Ryan Slade, managed to take control of the match, taking Jordan McEntyre to his limits. Jordan McEntyre found a way to pull the rug out from under Slade and almost beat the “Sex icon” in numerous near falls!!! But with the help of Ryan Slades manager pulling the leg of McEntyre while on the top rope thought to put Jordan down for Ryan Slade to attempt a super-plex!!!! Brian Scrilla showed up to ring side too chase off Slades manager. This allowed Jordan the opportunity to shove Slade off the top rope & deliver a flying elbow drop & gain the 1,2,3!!!!!!
Winner: Jordan McEntyre
Next was the MECW Independent Championship Match!!!!!
Gabriel Brimstone vs. Krotch
MECW Independent ChampionGabriel Brimstone locks up with Krotch (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
Krotch lines Brimestone,.(Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
Earlier in the evening Krotch came out to make sure Gabriel Brimstone and The MECW Family knew that the reason that he was not at the last show. The reason was because he was busy training & getting ready to cash in his number one contender ship match for the MECW Independent Title!!!! He made sure that Brimstone knew that it was nothing personal, that he was cashing it in because if he could face anyone for that title it would in fact Gabriel Brimstone.
Locking up Gabriel Brimstone and Krotch, this was a intense match up. With the crowd being torn right down the middle, half cheering for the challenger Krotch and the other half for the Independent Champion: Gabriel Brimstone!!!!
Krotch gets ready to hit Brimestone with a big hit. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
The whole match nobody knew who would end up on top, but it was Gabriel Brimstone who reversed Krotche’s Krotch Rocket finisher and went for the school boy for the 1,2,3!!!!!
Gabriel Brimestone retains the MECW Independent Championship (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
After the match Krotch was upset with himself that he wasn’t able to kick out of the pin attempt. But in the end Krotch & Brimstone shook hands, resumed their friendship and left it all in the ring.
Winner and still MECW Independent Champion: Gabriel Brimstone
Main Event: Knight Wagner vs. MECW Heavyweight Champion: Dewey “Booger” Daweson.

Knight Wagner thru everything he had at the MECW Heavyweight Champion: Dewey, even coming close to become the new Heavyweight Champion for MECW!!!!! But in the end it was Dewey “Booger” Dawson who retained the MECW Heavyweight Championship!!!!!
Winner and STILL MECW Heavyweight Champion: Dewey “Booger” Dawson
But Dewey’s victory celebration wouldn’t last long as he was quickly attacked by the newly formed faction in MECW XXXplicit Content!!!! With the new MECW Tag Team Champions and Ryan Slade putting the boots to Dewey, Bailey Mannix wasn’t far behind with steel chair in hand. Dewey started fighting back but didn’t last long with Bailey Mannix waffling Dewey in the back with the chair. But it only got worse from their, as Dewey turned around to only be leveled in the head with the steel chair!!!!!! Bailey then dropped to his knees extending his arms and proclaiming himself the savior of MECW!!!!!! XXXplicit’s Contents celebration didn’t last long either because: The Bayou Outlaws, Zach Thompson, Evan Money, & Brain Scrilla carring a steel Chair to boot!!! With all of them running off XXXplicit Content and helped the fallen MECW Champion Dewey Daweson to the back!!!!!
The Champion is down thanks to XXXplicit Content but gets a little help from his friends. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
MWR final analysis: MECW is a federation that everyone should have there eyes on. Dewey “Booger” Dawson is highly entertaining, two of the top tag teams in the Midwest with Huge in Japan and the Bayou Outlaws. Bailey Mannix is the real deal, Gabriel Brimestone is OVAH. Evan Money and Zach Thompson flies with the best of them. Juice Robinson is a superstar in the making, Hunter Mathews is always entertaining and “Lovely” Leon is …well “Lovely” Leon. Plus you have a top notch locker room with some excitable fans that include the Fuzzy Hat Club.
Join MWR for a great night of wrestling on April 25th in Woodriver Illinois when MECW returns. For more information please go to MECWrestling.com.
Bailey Mannix demanded that I let him have the last word of my recap so MWR Fans I give you the MWR Wrestler of the Month for January 2009
No wrestler in the Midwest is as hot as Jeremy “The Rebel” Wyatt. On October 17th at 3XW he earned the right to be the number one contender to the 3xw Pure Championship title held by Tyler Cook by defeating former Pure Champion Maddog McDowell and international star Arik Cannon.
A week later he returned to LWA where he cashed in his Medallion to LWA President Luke Roberts before Roberts could declare the LWA title strip the injured Jordan Lacey of the belt. Since Lacey could not defend the belt, Roberts had no other choice but to give the Rebel the title. Wyatt never one to walk away from a fight successfully defended the belt that night in another three way, this time with KC Karrington and once again Arik Cannon.
Less than 24 hours, Wyatt made his way to Pro Wrestling Phoenix to take on the mammoth Abu Colossus for the PWP Championship. Wyatt was able to defeat one of the most impressive big men in the Midwest to become the new PWP Champion. It is only fitting that Jeremy Wyatt wins once again in October.

The Northstar Express did not let that get them down as they headed to PWP and took on one of the arch rivals the LONRS for the Tag team titles. The LONRS had beaten the Northstar Express twice before this encounter so with their final chance to become the PWP Tag Team Champions, in a match up between two of the top tag teams in the Midwest, the Northstar Express was able to get the belts that have eluded them all year.

October personality of the Month
Josh C Ray
A good leader is able to make those around him strive to reach their full potential. He can inspire confidence in others and draws out the trust and best efforts of the team. All this is true of Josh Ray.
Josh C Ray built Missouri Wrestling Revival out of respect and love for Pro Wrestling. MWR has the same qualities as the owner who started it. Josh is caring, hardworking, trustworthy, and passionate along with the highest integrity.
He has spent countless hours working on the site, reaching out his hand to whoever needed it. He never settled for anything but the best. He introduced the MWR “Wrestling Revival Cup” rankings and spearheaded the MWR Best of the Midwest series which is a dream to show other wrestling fans that the Midwest has some of the best talent in the world.
He is married to a beautiful woman, who is also his best friend, Sara. They are proud parents of a young son Jalen.I dare you to have a conversation with him that doesn’t mention his boy Jalen.
A proud American who has served our country once before, he has once again been called by his country to return to Iraq. His dream to support Pro Wrestling will stay alive while he is gone, but he still looks forward to returning to Missouri to lend a helping hand to Midwest pro wrestling
Josh, your colleagues have awarded you with the MWR October Personality of the month.

October Match of the Month
The Norhtstar Express
Vs.
The LONRS
[Pro Wrestling Phoenix]
October 25th in Council Bluffs, IA
The LONRS had twice defeated The Northstar Express while retaining the Pro Wrestling Phoenix Tag Team Titles. On October 25th, the LONRS (Mark Sterling and Darrien Sanders) looked to have their number once again. The Northstar Express Ryan Cruz and Darin Corbin) would not give up. One PWP fans stated “I’ve never heard stiffer superkicks in my 3 years of PWP fandom”. In a night of near falls, the Northstar Express walked away with the win but both teams earned the October Match of the Month.
3XWrestling (3XW) and Missouri Wrestling Revival (MWR) have teamed up to bring pro wrestling fans in the Midwest something to be proud of. As part of 3XW’s “BAM-O-Ween” on October 17, 2008 in Des Moines, IA at inPlay, MWR is sponsoring a match as part of the “MWR Midwest Best Series” for the 3XW Pure Championship between two of the best wrestlers that the MWR coverage area has to offer.
The MWR “Midwest Best” match alone offers a glimpse into the future of professional wrestling. 3XW Pure Champion Tyler Cook defends his newly acquired belt against Shane Hollister, one of the fastest rising stars in the Midwest! 3XW management contacted MWR with the possible match, and MWR Owner-Editor Josh Ray was so excited by it that he wanted to help make it happen!
As part of this sure-fire crowd pleasing card, 3XW Heavyweight Champion “Delicious” Devin Carter defends his title against a man who was once closer than a brother, Casanova, the former 3XW Cruiserweight Champ. Since Carter won heavyweight championship gold this summer, Casanova has turned his back on him. Two straight 3XW events have featured Carter on the receiving end of a Casanova attack. Now they settle their differences in the middle of a 3XW ring!
One-half of the Northstar Express, the Midwest’s premiere tag team and longest reigning 3XW Tag Team Champions, faces one-half of the Gentlemen’s Club, the current 3XW Tag Team Champions, when Ryan Cruz squares off against Mark Sterling! Sterling is no stranger to singles matches as a former 3XW Pure Champion, but he’s in the opposing corner from a tag team specialist who impressed many at 3XW’s “Clobberpalooza Classic” when he faired well in a two-on-one handicap match against the Gentlemen’s Club. The Northstar Express undoubtedly have a claim as the number one contenders to the 3XW Tag Team Championships, but a Ryan Cruz victory could raise his stock as a solo wrestling star. Mark Sterling will be his typical ruthless and brutal self to stop Cruz dead in his tracks.
It’s only 3XW’s second female wrestling match of 2008, but it is one for all of Iowa to pay attention to as Malia Hosaka, a star in WWE, WCW, ECW, and now SHIMMER, takes on Ring of Honor’s beautiful-but-dangerous Allison Wonderland. A match with these two is sure to please, but it is anyone’s guess as to who will emerge victorious. This is a must-see match!
If you are still looking for reasons to go to 3XW’s “BAM-O-Ween”, look no further than this awsome list of wrestlers who are scheduled to be in action:
“The Anarchist” Arik Cannon
Maddog McDowell
Mike Sydal
3XW Cruiserweight Champion “The Rockstar” Jimmy Rockwell
