All American Pro Wrestling Feb 27th AAPW Heavyweight Champ Mississippi Madman vs. Jermey Wyatt recap by Mike Van Hoogstraat.

Posted by flairwhoooooo on March 31, 2010

By Brian Kelley

A trip to AAPW is always guaranteed to be a good time. Add on a match of the Year canadite in the AAPW Champion the Mississippi Madman and taking on “The Belt Collector” Jeremy Wyatt you knew I could not miss it.

A great day of hanging with my girlfriend Dubray, who did “Dubi Meets the AAPW Fans” (if you missed it then click here,MWR Photographer extrordinar Mike Van Hoogstraat and my good friend Jonathan Jones. Later in the night we caught up with Adam Testa to watch some exciting wrestling action.

On the night we saw a feud heat up when Badboy Chris Thomas and his manager Brooklyn Bobby left former AAPW Champion Edmund “Livewire” McGuire laying that would lead to a falls Count anywhere match in Herrin Illinois on April 10th.

In the main event we saw two warriors go at it as Wyatt came within moments of becoming the AAPW Champion for the first time. The fans were still furious at Wyatt’s actions and wanted more. AAPW as always gives the fans what they want and in the Main event in Herrin Illinois it will be The Mississippi Madman vs. Jeremy Wyatt 2.

Also on the card will be former WWE/ECW Superstar Simon Dean/ Nova going one on one with recently released WWE’s Paul Burchill.

This and much more will be why you will not want to miss AAPW on April 10th.

Till then sit back and enjoy the AAPW Photo recap by Mike Van Hoogstraat.

Missouri Wrestling Revival Trading card #4 MsChif SOLD OUT

Posted by flairwhoooooo on March 22, 2010

#4 is my favorite number. My friends and most wrestling fans will quickly know why. Ric Flair and “The Four Horseman”. So when I go buy a lottery ticket I make sure that that number is one of them. Later in life 4 would special as well. My son who is the All State linebacker for his High School team has always worn the number 4. In lesser degree on most days 4:00 is the home stretch of my work day.

So what does this have to do with pro wrestling you may ask?

I am thrilled and excited to have a World Champion to be a part of the Missouri Wrestling Revival trading card series. I am with great pleasure to announce that MsChif will be #4 and I could not think of a better choice to represent what the cards are about.

The MWR cards are set up to bring recognition to the hard working men and women who put their health at risk to entertain us throughout the Midwest in Professional Independent Wrestling. In the set you may find wrestlers who are just starting, already made trips to Japan, WWE, TNA, Ring of Honor or may be on the tail end of their career.

Unfortunately most will not be able to be to succeed but their will be some that with hard work, pure talent, dedication and a lucky break that give them a chance to show the world their talent on the big stage.

MsChif is the definition of all of these attributes. It was not long ago that she was a star in your local promotion giving it her all to improve and make her mark on the wrestling scene. Today she is one of the top women wrestlers in the world.

So it is with great honor that I am to present MsChif as the #4 MWR trading card.

#1 The Northstar Express Darin Corbin and Ryan Cruz- 2008 MWR Tag team of the Year.
#2 Mark Sterling- 2009 MWR Wrestler of the Year.

10 questions with the tallest female wrestler in the WORLD “Isis” The Amazon

Posted by flairwhoooooo on March 19, 2010

In less than 2 weeks the world’s tallest female wrestler will make her debut in St Louis at NWA Dynamo/ High Voltage Wrestling. I have long to see “ISIS” the Amazon for quite some time as MWR has kept a close eye with her fellow Coastal Championship Wrestling colleague the CAC and HVW Champion Kahagas.

On March 27th in Granite City, Illinois you will have a chance to see the best in the world today MsChif team up with CAC Women’s champion to take on ISIS and Jessika Haze.

If you’re a fan of women’s wrestling then you will not want to miss this first ever encounter with ISIS and the NWA Women’s and Shimmer World Champion MsChif!!

Tickets only $10.00 each with kids 7 and under Free!!

Till then let’s enjoy 10 questions with ISIS

1) Have you always been a fan of wrestling and if so who did u look up?

I was a die hard fan of Chyna (go women of dominance!) and Chris Jericho, I always appreciated the innovative matches Jericho had.

2) How did you go about getting in the sport?

I was working for a corporation at a trade show in South Beach and came across the Main Event Training Academy, formerly known as Coastal Championship Wrestling.

3) At this point of your career what has been your personal highlight?

My FCW evaluation with WWE after just 10 months of training.

4) Who was your first match against and what was it like stepping the ring for the first time?

Calypso and her two “henchmen”. I was wearing what I like to call the bumble bee outfit, since then I’ve upgraded to actual original gear I have drawn and had made. Stepping in the ring for the first time in front of a crowd was a great experience. I had so much fun I just knew I had to do it again and again and get better.

5) What do you think some of the obstacles of being so tall and getting into the sport has been?

Learning how to bump, lol. Hip toss. Controlling the match.

6) What has surprised you the most about being a professional wrestler ?

The reality of back stabbers and prima donnas that come along with it.

7) If you were asked to be at Wrestlemania who would like to go up against and destroy and why?

Chyna- I was an avid fan and would love that opportunity. She was so bad-ass!

8) We have a lot of Juggalo’s and Juggalette’s in the STL that love wrestling and you have worked with the Insane Clown Posse in the past. I checked out your website where you stated that it was an awesome experience and you looked forward to working with them again. What exactly did you do there?

Well, I’ll be at JCW this weekend, the 20th, performing for them again. I wrestled 3 puny guys and threw their lightweight asses around like rag dolls.

9) “Where can people go to see your matches, videos, photos, or even to book you for an event?”
http://www.isistheamazon.com/

10) One of the top women wrestlers in the sport, MsChif will be in the house on March 27th when you make your debut at HVW/NWA Dynamo. If you should happen to go face to face with the Women’s Champion of the World, in your mind what do you see happing?

I have seen her work and respect her. I can see an awesome match occurring and your’s truly coming out on top as always. I belong on top, little girls such as the said belong underneath me. She will definately be “kissing the sky” and laying out for the 1, 2, 3 when she lands.

“Spoiled” Steven Kennedy meets Brandon Aarons at IHW on March 6th for the IHW title.

Posted by flairwhoooooo on March 4, 2010

By Brian “Flair” Kelley

On March 6th Independent Hardcore Wrestling Champion Brandon Aarons title is deep trouble when he goes one on one against “Spoiled” Steven Kennedy. On February 6th Aarons outlasted Billy McNeil, Mephisto, Eric Allen, Sean Vincent and Kennedy in a brutal six way elimination match for his first ever singles championship.

All six men looked amazing, with all of them coming close to gaining the title for themselves but one man who was on fire was Steven Kennedy. Throughout the match Kennedy paced himself perfectly and struck when the time was right. Aarons would show the heart of a champion by weathering the storm of Kennedy to go home with the gold.

Brandon Aarons vs. Steven Kennedy has been set to go. Will Aarons be able to survive the assault of Kennedy a second time or will March 6th be the start of the Spoiled era began?
