Missouri Wrestling Revival is proud to team up once again with one of the brightest stars in the pro wrestling scene today Santana G. The second generation star first appeared in our set at number 7, with an already impressive resume. She took on the very best as she challenged the MsChif, prior to earning the respect of the former NWA Women’s champion to become her partner to team up against the team of Serenity and Jessika Haze.

Fast forward to today and her time in the ring with MsChif and trainer Dingo at Dynamo Pro Wrestling has prepared her to make a splash in the wrestling hotbed of Florida. She wisely sought out one of the top trainers in the country with Team Vision Dojo with former AWA World Champion Larry Zbyszko, and Chaysn Rance, add on the watchful eye of  former AWA,WCW,  and WWE Star Scott Hall and she has not looked back.

Fans in Florida can catch Santana G week after week, night after night taking on a who’s who in the world of pro wrestling. She most recently had been featured as the showcase match for the upstart promotion SHINE at the EVOLVE Ippv against Sara Del Rey.

With all the eyes on Santana G, she along with female superstars, Daffney and Christina Von Eerrie represented SHIINE on the National network DAYTIME.

Now Santana G returns to the MWR Trading card series with exclusive art from Raven Johnson and photography from Gerry Francisco!!!

Yet that is not all!!!!!

We were thrilled to have Santana G take part in our very first team up with Pro Wrestling Illustrated contributing writer’s Brady Hicks IN THE ROOM wrestling radio show. You can catch the very first interview of Santana G on the show by clicking here.

10 Questions for the Midwest Sweetheart Santana G.

Posted by flairwhoooooo on March 19, 2012

Photobucket

Photos courtesy of Santana G’s facebook

Brian Kelley 1) Missouri Wrestling Revival has been on hand from the start to see your first match but for the new fans, please let them know where you got your training?

Photobucket

Santana G trained under one of the very best in the past thirty years in St. Louis at Dynamo Gym under Dingo. Dingo has thrilled fans at SLA and Metro Pro Wrestling this past year. Here at Metro Pro Wrestling Dingo goes full tilt against Dan Walsh (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

Santana G -My training started in St Louis, Mo at Dynamo Gym-there I trained under Dingo for a few months until I moved back to Florida where I started training and currently train in Orlando at the Team Vision Dojo under Chasyn Rance, Larry Zbyszko, and Scott Hall

2) You’re father TNT Keny G was also a wrestler who was trained by Dory Funk Jr. and is currently the promoter for High Voltage Wrestling. What are some of your favorite memories growing up around the sport in Florida?

Santana G -Looking back, my favorite memory is just spending time with one another, wrestling was one of many of our common interests and made our father-daughter relationship that much stronger.

I also remember when I was younger my mother used to send me to school in these fancy/fluffy dresses, and when I was with my dad, he let me wear what ever I wanted. This usually consisted of my Stone Cold Steve Austin t-shirt with jeans. To this day I am still the girliest tomb boy you’ll ever meet.

Photobucket

Santana G has always been a sweet girl that has shown respect to her fans and love for her family. Here she poses with her brother LIL Keny. (Photo Mike Van Hoogstraat)

3) What kind of advice has your father given you that has helped you at this stage of your career?

Santana G -Those who know my father knows he always has something to say. Therefore, over the years he has given a lot of great advice which has molded me into the girl I am today. One thing is to never change for someone else. Another is to not do anything that I may regret. I have this rule, when it comes to wrestling, I do not anything that I wouldn’t be comfortable doing in front of my father or my little brothers.

Photobucket

Santana G’s dad HVW promoter TNT Keny G did not take it easy on his daughter early on in her career as she was sent to the wolves when she took on the best women’s wrestler in the world MsChif in a early matchup. Though Santana was overmatched, she would earn the respect of the queen of the green mist for her never give up attitude and heart.

4) You have since moved to Florida, to continue your training. Who has been the most helpful in molding you into the star that you are today.

Santana G -Prior to moving back to Fl, I had minimal training. So when I got here I needed a place to train, I checked out Dory’s school and a few others, but I ended up meeting Chasyn at a show and he offered to me, an opportunity to train at his school. For the past two years, he has helped me stay on track with juggling my bookings, work, and maintaining a healthy body and mind. Not only has he been an amazing trainer, but also my best friend.

Photobucket

5) For a short time you were brought in with Orlando Jordan on SPIKE TV for TNA as a valet. Describe that experience for the fans.

Santana G -During my time there, I met many different wrestlers who have seen the ins and outs of this business and we’re willing to offer advice and answer any questions I may have as an up and comer. It was a good way to get my foot in the door and just a great opportunity.

Photobucket

The 2010 MWR Female wrestler of the year Amy Hennig was able to keep Santana G from the WLW Women’s title. The Midwest sweetheart feels that if that match was to happen today she would hold onto Harley Race’s Women’s title. Today she would have to go through current WLW Ladies champion Stacey O’Brien. A rematch MWR has been waiting for since last spring. (Photo credit Bill Smith)

6) Since then you have returned to the Midwest on a few occasions, notably for Harley Race’s World League Wrestling challenging then champion Amy Hennig for the title. Did the 8-time NWA World Champion Harley Race give you any feedback on your matches and looking back at the title match, how would you of went about getting the title off of her now?

Photobucket

Stacey O’Brien is considered to be the best in the MWR coverage area not named MsChif, many experts believe that Santana G has the beauty and talent in the ring and is on the verge of stardom in the sport for years to come. Will these two paths cross at either Dynamo or Metro when the Midwest sweetheart returns ? (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

Santana G -Harley was great! After my match w/ Amy I sat next to him at the merch table. He said to me, I knew you could actually work from the very first shoulder tackle -it only took one bump and he had already formed a positive opinion. It was quite an honor. As for getting the title off Amy, at that time I still had a lot to learn, it was very early on in my career. If given the opportunity again, I strongly believe the outcome would be much different.

Photobucket

Santana will be a part of one of the biggest cards in Florida, not named Wrestlemania when Adam Pearce, James Cornette, Chance Prophet vs Kahagas and Santana G and Chasyn Rance vs former TNA STARS Jessie Neal and Christina Von Eerie with special ref Sunny.

7) You are active wrestling in Florida, how many shows a month do you wrestle and for what promotions.

Santana G -Pretty much my life consists of working, driving, and wrestling. I am always so busy, but loving every minute of it. I average anywhere from 4 to 10 matches per month.

I work for many different promotions in Florida which includes: NWA Ring Warriors, I Believe In Wrestling, Coastal Championship Wrestling, Slammin Ladies, Pro Wrestling Xtreme, United States Championship Wrestling, United States Wrestling Alliance, and many more.

8) You have matched up against many of the best females in Florida. Take the time to tell the fans just who are among the top challengers and why.

Santana G -There are many tough female competitors here in Florida, some of which I have faced are Jessika Haze, Becky Bayless, Angel Rose, Leva, Su Young, Jessie Belle Smother, Rain, Kimberly, Jamie D, Rosie Lotta Love, and Calypso. I’d have to say out of all of them my top challenger remains to be Christina Von Eerie. She is extremely tough and has a bad girl attitude which in many cases has caused her to come up short in her matches.

Photobucket

Photos courtesy of Santana G’s facebook

9) Scott Hall had mentioned that you become the first female WOLF PACK member, that’s quite an honor. We know that he has kept an eye on your training at times, what have you taken from the former N.WO member?

Santana G -Scott has been a great mentor, taking me under his wing and giving me the titles, “The She Wolf, The Fastest Rising Female Star, and The First Female Member of The Wolf Pack” which indeed has been an honor. He has helped me develop not only as a wrestler, but an entertainer. If you ever get a chance, youtube Last Call with Scott Hall and watch him critique a match. He has a brilliant mind.

10) MWR fans are thrilled that you are finally returning back to the Midwest in April. It wont be easy though as you will meet one of your arch rivals and former TNA Star Christina Von Eerie on two separate nights, first in Glen Carbon, Illinois for NWA Dynamo on April 6th, then on April 7th for the 2011 MWR Promotion of the Year Metro Pro Wrestling. Explain the background of the two of you as this is a war that has been ongoing and is about to explode in the Midwest.

Santana G -When it comes down to it, CVE and myself are considered the top 2 female wrestlers in Florida. We both train hard to better ourselves in this sport and we have both proven why we are the best.

Photobucket

Can Christina Von Eerie ruin Santana G’s homecoming?

Her and I have had many matches this past year, and with each match our feud only escalades, as we are both trying to prove who really is the best. We have shown the fans in Florida what we are all about and now we are taking it to the MidWest, my second home.

Vote for the MWR Sexiest Female of the 2012!!

Posted by flairwhoooooo on February 6, 2012

Photobucket
The TNA Knockouts are a huge reason why fans turn onto TNA on Thursday nights, but fans can catch sexy and talented women right here in the Midwest each and every weekend. You never know you may catch a future star at your local show in your hometown. Before Angelina Love was one of the Beautiful people she wrestled in Eldon Missouri for Harley Race’s World League Wrestling at one point. (Though she is not pictured here with Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne and Lacy Von Erich at TNA in St Louis)

By Dubray Tallman.

Hello MWR fans, we hope that you are having a great start to 2012. At MWR we have always supported wrestling and the promotions of the Midwest. This also includes the women of the Midwest, and thankfully we have one of the top women to ever grace the ring, right here in the Midwest, MsChif.

At times though, the competition has been very light as there have not been many women matches throughout the years. Thankfully, that is not the case today as there are not only beautiful women that enter the ring in the Midwest but women that really “bring the excitment” !!

Hard hitting matches between the women have been in demand more than ever as fans have been thrilled to see them go at it as they prove they are as marketable as their male counterparts.

Last year we had some fun with the 2011 MWR Sexiest Male wrestler of the year. The winner was none other than Bailey Mannix.

This year we are honoring the women of the Midwest, with the MWR Sexiest female of the MWR coverage area for you to vote for. Each of these women are lovely in their own special wonderful way.

Yet, there can only be one lady that can be named the MWR Sexiest female of the Year award. We hope you take the time to vote on these lovely wrestlers, managers, valets and important women in the Midwest who is your favorite to be named this year’s 2012 MWR Sexiest wrestler of the year.

Remember MWR fans don’t forget to ask your favorite promotion to bring in your favorite women to your area.

Please note the first checkmark is for Amanda the blood thirst Vixen and the second one if for Angelus Layne, for some reason it is not showing up on the page but I can see total votes at the final edit…..

10 reasons why you should join MWR at AAPW Jan 14th in Marion Illinois!!!

Posted by flairwhoooooo on January 8, 2012

By Brian Kelley

Photobucket

Wrestling fans in Illinois should be thrilled about this coming Saturday’s All American Pro Wrestling’s Main Event”. Let’s take a look at just 10 reasons why you should take the trip to Marion, Illinois whether you are from Marion or you are a fan that lives in St Louis. In no specific order and to be honest I could have done more than 10 reasons why you should join us.

1)      First Show of the year! With the weather looking to be great, why not take the kids out to the park during the day then come in when it gets dark and cold as all of your favorite All American Pro Wrestling Stars action is sure to be hard hitting and heated. AAPW has an Awesome card filled with some of the best stars in Illinois and around the World. Don’t be the only fan at work on Monday who did not make the biggest show in AAPW history.

Photobucket

Let’s watch "3G" Eric Wayne take young Jay Spade on a trip on pain.(Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

Let’s watch "3G" Eric Wayne take young Jay Spade on a trip on pain.(Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

2)      “3G” Eric Wayne to meet former WWE, ROH and a NWA World Champion – The third generation AAPW star Eric Wayne was set to meet ROH World Champion Davey Richards this past fall. Due to contract issues that match never happen. Wayne has been in the sport since 2006 and has had a taste of TNA and WWE in past. A win against the respected and VERY entertaining “BOOM BOOM” Colt Cabana could send a message to AAPW management that he is ready for a rematch against AAPW Champion Edmund “Livewire” McGuire that is if you don’t see him on your TV on Monday or Thursday nights.

3)      “The Generic Luchador” El Generico vs. “The Man Gravity Forgot” PAC– Both of these wrestlers have traveled around the world. They have met in the past in thrilling battles that fans have raved about. Let’s take a look at

4)      FREE STUFF: One lucky fan in attendance will walk away with two tickets to the WWE Royal Rumble in St. Louis The fan who travels the farthest to attend Main Event will receive an AAPW prize pack.

Photobucket

Christopher Hagstrom and the AAPW staff has been proactive in building a close relationship with their fans in 2011, in 2012 they will be running on all cylinders with great matches to start the year along with awesome promotions for their fans at the shows, on their website, and on facebook. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

MWR Fans be sure to be a fan of AAPW on FACEBOOK as they have been doing prize packs when they reach 800, 900 and 1,000 fans. Be a part of the growth of one of the Midwest hottest promotions in 2012.

Photobucket

Pokerface. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

5)      Pokerface Open Challenge–  One of the hottest stars in AAPW is the undefeated Pokerface. How good is he? In October, he was able to get a victory from the 2011 MWR Wrestler of the Year Brandon Espinosa in an exciting match-up.

Photobucket

The All American feels the explosive knees from Pokerface. Can anyone step to and defeat Pokerface? Join us this Saturday to find out. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

While MWR has not been liked his arrogance and attitude towards fans we cannot deny the talent this young star possess. Who will step to meet the challenge of Pokerface? Be there to cheer on the man who will look to end the undefeated streak!

Photobucket

Heath Hatton and Curly tenure as a AAPW tag team Champs has come to an end. Can Heath Hatton fly alone to success?? (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

6)      Bad blood and grudges boil over as Heath Hatton looks to get revenge on “Golden Boy” Greg Anthony.  Heath Hatton is one star that MWR has on the radar in 2012, in 2011 he along with fan favorite Curly won the AAPW Tag titles and feuded with Anthony and his tag partner “Serial Thriller” Shane Rich. Each man would find themselves alone as an injury would take out Shane Rich, while AAPW would fire Curly but this would not cool off the tension between these two.

Photobucket

Hatton has been on the search to work with the very best in the past couple of months as he has made appearances with both Harley Race’s WLW and Ohio Valley Wrestling. This could be his biggest match to date (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

Last month Heath Hatton was forced to defend them alone against Team Overkill, and showed true heart in his efforts against Matt Cage and Christian Rose but it would be Greg Anthony who would cost him his tag team titles.

Now Hatton is ready to teach the veteran Anthony a lesson in respect. MWR has always enjoy Anthony here with his own article aptly named “The Golden Circle” in the past we do not condone his actions to this rising star and will be hoping that Hatton can do his wish.

Photobucket

In the past the Golden Boy Greg Anthony has used illegal help from his good friend Shane Rich, here rookie Aiden Young gets blasted from Anthony after Rich harassed him throughout the match. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

That may be easier said than done, Anthony who will be the first to tell you that he “Is the best of the best” and has the credentials to prove it. Down south he has been honored by the former website Rasslin Riot as the 2011 Wrestler of the Year, one half of a former Tag Team of the Year and been involved in the 2011Match of the year.

Photobucket

Shane Rich has been injured and has joined the AAPW announcing crew, but Anthony knows all the tricks in the book and looks to make life hell for the young rising star Heath Hatton. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

Anthony has formed a successful tag team with NWA/WCW star  Bobby Eaton with manager Brian Thompson are called Midnight Gold.

In singles and tag competition he  has captured wins against a who’s who in the sport including Jerry Lawler, Jerry Lynn, Buff Bagwell, Jay Lethal, Bill Dundee, Rock N Roll Express, Reggie B Fine, New Age Outlaws, Billy Gunn, Tracy Smothers, Flash Flanagan, and JC ICE.

..

Photobucket

Mike Masters!! (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

7)      Kevin Hunsperger needs your support!!  MWR fans know Kevin as the play-by-play commentator for “Collision” and anchor of “News 3 This Morning” on WSIL TV. A great guy who has a true love for the sport. On the other side of the ring will be “The Masterpiece” Mike Masters.

Photobucket

Masters was on a roll early ion in his match with “Dynamite” Seth Knight but came out on the losing end, will look to take his frustrations out and bully our friend and AAPW announcer Kevin Hunsperger. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

Masters is a perennial threat to the AAPW Championship in the past and pound for pound one of the best wrestlers in the Midwest. So how did Kevin get involved in a match with the AAPW Superstar Mike Master’s?  Let’s take a look.

Photobucket

The 2011 MWR Female Wrestler Stacey O’Brien was so excited and appreciative when she was offered to be a part of AAPW’S “Main Event” when we saw her around Christmas time. Yet one thing is AAPW did not make it easy in the least when they brought in her former rival Rebecca Raze. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

8)      See the 2011 MWR Female Wrestler of the Year Stacey O’Brien in action and receive her plaque from MWR’S Diva Dubray Tallman:  It has been over four years since AAPW has hosted a women’s match inside the square circle. The fans asked for their return and AAPW has delivered with one of the Midwest finest Stacey O’Brien.  O’Brien was the first ever MWR Female of the Year and has returned from injury to regain her spot as the top women in the Midwest with great matches against Lucy Mendez, Santana G, Miss Natural and MsChif.

While this award may be a great honor for the hard working woman who now trains with Harley Race at the Harley Race Wrestling Academy in Eldon Missouri, she now has a target on her back. Just as rap legend 2Pac sang during his peak “All eye’s on me” O’Brien is now the hunted.

Photobucket

Rebecca Raze

The first young women to try to make a name for herself will be a former foe, Rebecca Raze. It has been over 4 years since the two have met but one thing is for sure that they do not like each other in the least. The name Rebecca Raze could be one that you are not aware of but don’t discount her skills and her desire to knock O’Brien off the top of the women’s division.

During the night we are honored that AAPW has invited us to present the “Boston Brawler” with her 2011 MWR Female Wrestler of the Year Plaque and support women’s wrestling at AAPW.

9)      See tag team wrestling the way it was meant to be: While newly crowned AAPW Tag Team Champions Matt Cage and Christian Rose of Team Overkill used some legal loopholes to get out of a title defense at Main Event AAPW has offered the fans a great tag match that could have ramifications for the rest of 2011.

The former 3-time AAPW Tag Team Champions the Money Makin Jam Boyz the Mississippi Madman and KC Jackson take on Roscoe Dwayne Harris and Jimmy Wayne Fargo otherwise known as the Convoy. Will the weight and power of Harris and Fargo be an advantage against the MMJB’s Jackson or will the Jackson be able to wear out the fearsome twosome and set them up for the Madman’s finisher the Fifth floor?

The winner of this match at AAPW’S Main event will earn a tag team title shot in the future.

10)   Two years ago, Missouri Wrestling Revival announced the very first MWR Trading Cards. The set was produced to bring recognition to the wrestlers in the Midwest and the MWR site. From the very first featuring the tag team the Northstar Express, we have done our best to deliver you the fans with a great card that catches your favorites wrestlers in action.

At the end of the year we were at #60 in the set that includes the current Ring of Honor World Champion Davey Richards, former champ Eddie Edwards, Jimmy Jacobs and MsChif to former WWE Stars and Champions Trevor Murdock, U-Gene) EUGENE), former D-X member Road Dogg along with Hall of famers such as Larry Zbyszko, Dave Hebner and Larry Matysik.

With #60 we were excited to have the one and only “Generic Luchador” El Generico to be a part of this wonderful collection.  To the best of my knowledge this will be the first time that MWR fans will have a chance to get their card autographed from the masked man himself in the MWR coverage area. El Generico is one of the most traveled wrestlers in the sport as he is a star with Ring of Honor and has taken tours around the world so fans do not miss this rare chance to see him in action and have you #60 MWR El Generico card signed.

Though we are always excited to add ROH and former  WWE, WCW, and NWA stars to the set, our favorites are the stars of the Midwest that thrill us each and every weekend in the Midwest.

Many of these men and women are the future of the sport as during our two years we have featured two Pro Wrestling Illustrated Rookies of the years in three cards. First we have the 2009 PWI Rookie of the Year as well as the 2010 MWR Wrestler of the Year Mike Sydal.  Sydal the brother of WWE Star Evan Bourne was featured in two cards, first the sold out card of #5 and then we provided an update of Sydal with the #37.

The most recent wrestler to be name the Pro Wrestling Illustrated Rookieof the Year is Ace Hawkins. We were excited to have this high flying star as the man who graced the # 55 card.

Both of these men have been in action at AAPW in the past but will not be there next week but you will be able to get your hands on the following cards and hopefully have them signed from them during the evening.

#38 Stacey O’Brien and # 43 The Mississippi Madman are two of our favorites. The Madman has been both the AAPW Champion as well as an AAPW Tag Champion.

One of the most charismatic wrestlers in the Midwest, he is always a fan favorite.  This will be a great opportunity to meet all three of these stars to have your cards signed.

We love him here at MWR as does the AAPW faithful , he is the AAPW Champion with a familiar foe breathing down his throat, “The Old school Warrior” Ax Allwardt.(Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

That is 10 reasons and we never did get to the main event between AAPW Champ Edmund McGuire and “Old School Warrior” Ax Allwardt. This match that could be featured on any main event in the country today and it will be right here in the Midwest next weekend.

Jay Spade has no fear as he goes to the rafters to get an edge. Spade is just one of the young stars that you will be seeing for years to come in the sport. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

Always one to love himself, it is the Playboy Paul Rose. Rose never fails to entertain us and will be in action this weekend!! (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

Plus stars such as Jay Spade, Bull Bronson, and “Playboy” Paul Rose will be in action during the night as well . So join MWR for a fun filled night full of action as well as many surprises during the night.

Stacey O’Brien becomes the first ever wrestler to be a two time MWR recipient in the singles category.

O’Brien returned in 2011 after an injury had sidelined her since 2009 with a mission to regain her spot as the women to beat in the Midwest.

To say that she is better than before would be an understatement as she has been touring the Midwest breaking young fans hearts and bringing fear in her opponents.

O’Brien has been on fire capturing wins against the likes of rising star Lucy Mendez to start the year at Metro Pro Wrestling.

In April, in Collinsville Illinois, High Voltage Wrestling presented a supershow with Larry Zbyszko and a special first time meeting between Santana G with special guest Dave Hebner as the referee . While Santana G looked to celebrate her homecoming back to the Midwest, it would be Stacey O’Brien to put an end to the party when she had her hand raised once again in a true classic battle of two of the best young talents in the sport.

During a memorable moment in hot month of July, Stacey O’Brien, turned the heat up even more as she had the men’s mouths drop as she came out in a sexy Metro Referee outfit to restore order in a match between Lucy Mendez and Miss Natural.

Back in action O’Brien would come back to St Louis the South Broadway Athletic Club for the MMWA and capture a victory from arch rival Mendez, though Mendez would even the score at SICW later in the year.

At NWA Dynamo wrestling on August 8th in Glen Carbon Illinois, Stacey O’Brien would take the NWA Midwest Women’s Champ MsChif to the test in a great battle that saw MsChif use her “Green Mist” to score a victory to retain her belt.

O’Brien and her arch rival Mendez would go at it all year in World League Wrestling around the Midwest. In Burlington, Iowa on September 18th the WLW Women’s title was declared vacant and it would be the Boston Bawler who would become a 3-time WLW Ladies Champion.

In October she took part in the WLW/WWE/NOAH week long training camp to improve her skills, to get noticed and to be the best that she can be.

There is no doubt that in 2010 pro wrestling in the Midwest missed the talents of Stacey O’Brien. Fans in the Midwest enjoy her while you can as she has the work ethic to make waves in Shimmer, Japan, TNA or even WWE in the near future.

We would like to congratulate Stacey O’Brien as the 2011 MWR Female Wrestler of the Year.

1st Runner Up- Lucy Mendez
2nd Runner up-MsChif
3rd Runner Up- The Great Cheyenne

Other wrestlers that receive votes Serenity, Melanie Cruise, Miss Natural

Past MWR Female Wrestlers of the Year.

2010 Amy Hennig
2009 MsChif
2008 Stacey O’Brien

Breaking news: Has NWA’S Howard T Brody and Larry Brannon signing of the NWA National Heavyweight Champion Chance Prophet vs. the Tokyo Monster Kahagas put the NWA on the map again?

Hot news tonight coming in from Fort Lauderdale, Florida as the former High Voltage Wrestling Champion Kahagas tore the roof down in Fort Lauderdale, Fla against the NWA National Heavyweight Champion Chance Prophet for NWA Ring Warriors in a title match.

Photobucket

In the house was the former National Wrestling Alliance President Howard T. Brody, and former 3 time NWA World Tag Team Champion and now Chief Operations Officer Larry Brannon  were on hand for what one MWR correspondent in Florida called the most brutal match in the NWA since the days of Harley Race and Ric Flair, Bruiser Brody and Abdullah just to name a few.

The night was filled with Superstars as the NWA World Tag Team Champions, the Dark City Fight Club (Jon Davis and Kory Chavis), were defended their titles against two members of pro wrestling’s most heralded and often controversial stables, Degeneration X, in “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn and “X-Pac” Sean Waltman.

Photobucket

The Original Diva” Sunny” made her way to NWA Ring Warriors, as was the “Midwest Sweetheart” herself Santana G. Sunny gave the highest of compliments when she stated that Santana G was the top female talent not signed by the WWE today.

Santana G has worked hard to earn the respect of some of the best in the business have taken notice. From the best in the business such as MsChif, Scott Hall, X-Pac, to the greatest Diva of them all Sunny. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

Yet, at the end of the night all the fans could talk about was the brutal NWA National Heavyweight title match between the two warriors that went at it with neither of them backing down. Inside the ring Kahagas and Chance Prophet delivered chops and punches that echoed throughout the building . Outside the ring, it would only get uglier as both men would be disqualified as they went at each other with a vengeance.

Our sources state that both men were far from calling it done on this night, but they will have to wait another day to settle the score to see who truly is the best man.

Earlier this fall we saw the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Adam Pearce electrify the crowd at Metro Pro Wrestling in Kansas City against Michael Strider.

With HVW promoter TNT Keny G scouting out talent in Florida this week, MWR believes that the chances of the NWA National Heavyweight Champion Chance Prophet giving a rematch to Kahagas in the Midwest is very likely.

Should it happen at HVW, Dynamo Pro Wrestling or Metro Pro Wrestling it has the chance to be the match of the year in the Midwest in 2012.

By Brian Kelley

MMWA-SICW and promoter Herb Simmons will be giving you, the fans a Christmas show that you will not soon forget. First he has sent word that as a holiday gift for fans of women wrestling, there will be a debut at SICW of two of the best today going at it one on one.

Photobucket

It will be ST Louis’s own and arguably the best female wrestler to come out of the Midwest since Penny Banner and there is  no doubtshe is  the most popular star in St Louis today, Thats right  “Your souls Tormentor” MsChif will debut for MMWA-SICW.

Photobucket
Fans young and old, are thrilled to see MsChif in action, can Serenity be a scrooge and get a victory over one of the very best females in the world?

Her opponent will be rising female star Serenity.

Photobucket

This will mark only the second time since these two have met. The first was March 27, 2010 at HVW during a tag match as Serenity teamed up with Florida star Jessika Haze in a losing effort against MsChif and the Midwest Sweetheart Santana G.

The experts are excited about this match up and feel as if Serenity, who at that time during their first match was very new to ring   and not ready for MsChif . She has improved her game, to be not only be in a match with MsChif, but able to capture the biggest win in her career this Saturday night.

There has been no doubt that the name Serenity has been the talk of the Midwest in Central Illinois in 2011 ,  and many feel thst om 2012  it may be a year the year Serenity in the female division.

We were able to catch up with MsChif on her match this coming Saturday December 10th in East Carondelet , Illinois.

Fans at the MMWA-SICW in East Carondelet will be treated to a rocking and bruising Christmas as Ricky Cruz looks to get retribution on Ron Powers this Saturday. Fans last month got to see one of the most brutal beat down ever in MMWA-SICW history.

Let’s look back at a small recap from the last recap at MWR Mayhem in East Carondelet as Ricky Cruz feels the wrath of Ron Powers- World War 3 is just beginning.

Cruz admitted that he centered his efforts on the St. Louis area because it was the base for Powers. When Powers worked in Puerto Rico several years ago, according to Cruz, Powers used his piledriver and other assorted violent tactics to sideline several wrestlers – one of whom was Cruz’ older brother. That brother suffered neck damage and still has pain even after curtailing his career. Cruz swore to get revenge on Powers, especially after seeing Powers used a piledriver against Dave Vaughn on the floor Oct. 15.

Cruz promised to be “Powers’ judge, jury and executioner.”

This brought Powers to the ring.Ron denied knowing about Cruz’ brother. He also graphically described being a young kid with a big reputation alone in Puerto Rico, billed as the protégé of Bruiser Brody, fighting off attacks from unexpected sources and pulling out the stops in every match. He added that he had changed, was now a father of three himself and only carried on as a Wildman to satisfy the fans and promoter Herb Simmons, along with longtime mentor Larry Matysik. He apologized to Cruz, said he was ready to quit, would give Cruz the Classic title, and if he had injured the brother was sincerely sorry and wrong.

To see what happen next please click here. ( Fans with a weak stomach be prepared for the images of the aftermath is very graphic.

MWR was able to catch up with Ryan Cruz this weekend who had this warning to the CCW Champion Ron Powers.

Do not miss this historic night of action, December 10th in East Carondelet Illinois for a Christmas celebration Christmas style.
