David Wilson’s Exclusive Interview with Gary Jay

David Wilson – Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Gary Jay – Thanks for having me.

1- DW – How long have you been wrestling?

GJ – I have been wrestling for 13 years, I had my debut at a XWA show and wrestled twice, One of my opponents was Jordan Lacey, I lost both matches.

2 DW – Is that the night that Pierre Abernathy and Evan Gelistico also made debuts?

GJ– Yes it is.

3 DW – What actually got you into wrestling?

GJ – As a kid I was flipping through the channels and came across wrestling on TV, I watched for a while and knew this was something I wanted to do.

4 DW – Who is the biggest name in wrestling you have faced?

GJ – I would have to say probably Alex Shelley and El Generico (WWE’s Sami Zayn)

5 DW – How did the Gary’s dad gimmick start?

GJ – After I became Gary The Night Owl which is the bad version of the Barn Owl, after a while Dorian started to pull me out of the Night Owl character and he called me Son and I said something about that’s my dad and it stuck from there and we ran with it.

6 DW – How did Stiff Robo Ginger come about?

GJ – One night I was watching RoboCop and needed to create a name for a website and I just kind of came up with it.

7 DW – If you could wrestle anyone living or dead who would it be?

GJ – The Undertaker, well because he is the Undertaker, and honestly Shawn Michaels for the learning experience I would get from him.

8 DW – A fellow fan Scott Woll wants to know, What happened to BOSS? Are they on hiatus or is the group no more?

GJ – I believe BOSS has served its purpose.

9 DW – Another fellow fan Tim Richbourg wants to know, With all the bumps and chair shots and the head first into the wall, are you concerned about concussions?

GJ – I am very concerned, I am also very confident in my ability and my body and feel as if I have control of my own body at all times.

10 DW – Another fellow fan Jason Cline wants to know where the Rents Due saying came from? We both love the saying.

GJ – Basically making fun of a wrestler that uses a landlord gimmick.

11 DW – What can we expect from you for the rest of 2016?

GJ – Just looking forward to the rest of the year and seeing what opportunities arise.

12 DW – When will we see you get your Anarchy Belt back?

GJ – I’m not sure, all I can say is sit back and wait and see what happens.

13 DW Who are the wrestlers you like working with? and Who are you excited to work with?

GJ – I love working with Davey Vega, Mat Fitchett, Martin Stone, Davey Richards, Kyle O’Reilly and Aaron Epic. And a few I get excited to work with are Chip Day, Jimmy Rave and Eddie Kingston.

14 DW – This last question was submitted by Mikey McNeely and is several questions in one.

What kind of products do you use on your facial hair? I just use beard shampoo and conditioner.

What’s your favorite animal? Cats of course.

What’s your favorite food? Hamburgers, Fries, wings and salad. I HATE pizza.

What’s your favorite movie? Forrest Gump, Shawshank Redemption and Batman movie.

Where did you share your first kiss? I really don’t remember.

What was your favorite class in school? Probably Drama.

What is your favorite emoji? I would have to say the POOP emoji.

Which tattoo was your first? Which is your favorite? The barn owl was first. I would have to say the Me on Me is my favorite.

MWR Super fan Jackson Cline’s Top Ten Favorite Wrestlers

It was a great honor that my friend Jason Cline messaged me the other night to tell me that his son Jackson was reading the 2015 MWR Yearbook before he went to bed. What a honor, that he has enjoyed the book so much.

Jackson did have one concern, in the 2014 yearbook I had listed my top ten favorite wrestlers of all-time and he could not believe that I had not listed the very talented and highly entertaining Daniel Bryan.

In the 2015, I did have two very talented wrestlers Billy McNeil and Jordynne Grace list their favorite wrestlers in a great edition to the book. I mentioned to Jackson’s dad Jason that I would love to have Jackson’s personal top ten to add to the site.

Tonight I was thrilled to receive that list and am very happy to share them with you.

Brian I told Jackson about your offer to post his top ten list, when I got home today here’s what he had for me. Presenting the “official” top ten wrestlers and/or teams in his own words with mine in parentheses:

1)AJ Styles – “He’s awesome in the ring, and my dad always plays his theme songs in the car” (true on both accounts)

2)Michael Elgin – “He was my first favorite wrestler” (I started getting back into wrestling right when Elgin was moving up the card in ROH and Jack immediately latched on to him.

We’ve met him multiple times and he’s always been great to us.

3)Dalton Castle – “He is so unique in the ring” (Jackson loves the antics of Dalton’s boys, but he’s right about his ring style as well)

4)Red Dragon – “They are awesome singles wrestlers and when they tag they’ll kick your butt” (Can’t argue with that logic lol)

5)Davey Vega – “He’s great in the ring and a good guy” (Agreed 100% on both, Davey’s been nothing but great to us and he’s a very good wrestler.)

6)Mat Fitchett – “I always liked him but he moved up a lot when he beat Gary Jay” (The thing I love most about watching wrestling with Jack is getting to remember when I was his age and how I loved the good guys and hated the bad guys. When Fitchett beat Gary Jay he was so excited that it made a great match even better for me personally)

7)The Viking War Party – “Jake and Alex are hardcore” (Jackson LOVES to watch VWP fight The Hooligans probably more than any other matches, I struggle to keep up with him as he’s running around trying to see wherever they’re at while brawling outside the ring.)

8)The Hooligans – “I love it when they fight outside the ring” (See above)

9)Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson – “Nobody can deny The Bullet Club” (I watch a lot of New Japan, which means Jackson does as well. Now that they’ve made it to WWE Jackson wants to watch Raw and Smackdown.)

10)The Young Bucks – “I like their style and I like superkick parties” (what kid wouldn’t like The Young Bucks?)

St. Louis Anarchy Holding Out on a Hero

Promoter Pierre Abernathy and Davey Vega started the show…Pierre told the fans that Chris Hero‘s flight had been delayed, but they were adding a match or two to the card to give him time to get to the building. As a result, I joked that the subtitle for Part 1 of Gateway To Anarchy could easily be “Holding Out For A Hero”,

Davey Vega acknowledged the passing of Darren Dean, who had competed for St. Louis Anarchy on a few occasions(usually teaming with Aaron Solo(w)). That segued into the ten-bell salute.

Justin D’Air & The K.C. Wolves(Luke Langley & Graham Bell) vs. Kevin Lee Davidson, Sean Orleans, & Kody Krash: This was K.L.D.’s debut and he made an immediate impression as D’Air and the Wolves did their best to prevent his entry into the match.

However, the big man got a tag and it was downhill from there for the opposing trio. The finishing sequence saw multiple dives until only Orleans was left in the ring…however, Orleans loudly proclaimed that he wouldn’t risk his neck with such a move. However, Bell got a hold of Orleans and Awesome-Bombed him over the top rope onto everyone else at ringside! K.L.D. finished Langley with his spinebuster finisher in 14:02, lifting Langley high enough that his head bumped a ceiling panel…the big man got over in a major way in his St. Louis Anarchy debut.

“The Money” Matt Cage vs. Paco Gonzalez: Cage wore a “Straight Outta My Closet” T-shirt in rainbow colors…heh. Paco finally got trunks and Cage acknowledged the wardrobe change by noting that he got his “big-boy pants”.

Paco went for the anklelock multiple times in the match, resulting in Cage limping in the late stages of the bout. That tactic led to his downfall as Cage countered the last anklelock attempt into a victory roll pin in 13:55. Alex Castle attempted another sneak attack, but Cage saw him coming and Castle backed off. That led to Cage speaking his mind about the implosion of the Kentucky Buffet tag team…he said that Castle let his other relationships get in the way of the team’s success. They did a good job of building to the following night’s last-man-standing match between the two.

Mike Outlaw vs. Christian Rose:

Oddly, it turned out to be the shortest match of the night as it was the only bout to go under ten minutes. Rose got the tapout win with the No-Leaf Clover (Liontamer-style Boston crab) in 8:36.

Stephen Wolf vs. “Buck Nasty” Bucky Collins: Hadn’t seen Bucky in several years(think he worked for High Voltage Wrestling a few times. Bucky’s an entertaining heel and the women in the audience were decidedly unimpressed by his mannerisms.

Buck Nasty won a good match with a crucifix bomb in 12:58.

“Zesty” Zakk Sawyers vs. Steve O. Reno:

Both guys were fan favorites in this one, though Reno seemed to be the subtle heel. It could have gone either way, though Zakk recently challenged Gerald James for the Heavyweight Title.

Sawyers stepped off the turnbuckles and jumped backwards into a Diamond Cutter variant, getting the pinfall in 14:51.

The Cause (Evan Gelistico & Adam Caster)(w/ Danny Adams, Everett Connors, & referee Austin Blackburn) vs. The Hooligans(Devin & Mason Cutter) vs. The Viking War Party(“American Viking” Alexander Rudolph & “Littlest Viking” Jake Parnell) vs. Team I.O.U.(“The Down-South Dandy” Nick Iggy & “The Music City Mutt” Kerry Awful) for the Tag Team Titles: This was the Anarchy debut for Iggy and Awful; they were in the rule breaking role with two very popular teams as the other challengers.

This was as chaotic as expected; I.O.U. would get a better chance to shine in their standard tag match on the Sunday show. Parnell attempted a tiger suplex on Caster that didn’t do either guy any favors. The Vikings dished out a huge pileup of humanity as Parnell hit a Codebreaker on Awful, then Rudolph choke slammed Iggy onto Awful as Parnell held Awful across his knees! Chaos broke loose at that point, allowing Mr. Gelistico to steal the fall on Iggy in 12:30.

Davey Vega vs. “The Rebel” Jeremy Wyatt (w/ Greg Jovi): Jovi interfered a bit, which led to Vega sliding out of the ring and wiping out the manager with a pump kick…bwahahaha. Wyatt focused his attack on the leg to potentially set up for his hanging half-crab submission hold…he got Vega in a figure-four leglock at one point, but Vega got to the ropes to escape.

Wyatt went for the hold again and Vega small-packaged him for the flash pin in 29:27(!). Surprisingly, Wyatt offered a post-match handshake and Vega accepted the gesture without incident…though Wyatt swiped a kid’s pizza on the way to the backstage area.

Intermission~! Given the length of the show, I indulged a bit and had a total of four sodas: Two Mountain Dews, a root beer, and a Pepsi. There’s your Official Ben Simon Concession Count(tm).

“The Big Mustache On Campus” Mikey McFinnegan vs. “Absolute” Ricky Starks: Starks was on cloud nine after his recent appearance on NXT…of course, that lasted all of about ten seconds and most of his TV time was being chucked out of the ring by Colin Cassady. He felt like he was on his way to bigger and better things and took on a decidedly arrogant attitude as a result…he even had an “I’m A Hugger” T-shirt that he personally received from NXT Women’s Champion Bayley Rose. McFinnegan tried on the shirt for size, much to Starks’ dismay.

They had a fine match, ending with Starks hitting the double-underhook faceplant in 11:58.

Jojo Bravo vs. “Dirty” Andy Dalton: Jojo’s been in a bit of a slump recently, partially due to questionable calls by the officials. Of course Dalton will take any opportunity presented to him, so that was right up his alley.

Bravo had the momentum, but a near-collision with the referee gave Dalton the opening to deliver an undetected punt to the Universal Weak Point(tm). Dalton rolled up Jojo for the win in 10:13, adding to Bravo’s existing frustration.

Chris Hero & Trik Davis vs. Danny Adams & Everett Connors (w/ Tag Team Champions Evan Gelistico & Adam Caster & Austin Blackburn): Right around 11:00 PM, Hero was ready to go for this penultimate match of the evening. Hero and Trik go way back, dating back to their early days in IWA Mid-South. If I was fantasy-booking, I would have liked to see him against Christian Rose…Rose’s style was compared to Hero’s for a little while. Perhaps that could happen down the line…hint hint.

The match got a lot of time. Hero hit the Death Blow(Rude Awakening setup into a roaring elbow to the back of the head) on Adams, then Davis followed up with a Diamond Cutter and Hero got the three-count in 24:23.

Gerald James (w/ Dorian Victor) vs. Mikey McFinnegan best-of-three-falls for the Heavyweight Title: James had held the title for a mind-blowing 862 days (over two years and totaling 28 months). Fitchett battled James on several occasions, winning some non-title encounters but never being able to unseat the champion.

That included one particularly humbling encounter when James beat him in two straight falls. Fitchett infiltrated the BOSS stable under the Dangerous Deveroux mask and nearly cost James the title to Davey Vega, but it was not to be…however, Fitchett earned one more title shot with his victory in the Anarchy Rumble in November. Notably, Victor went to the backstage area instead of staying at ringside for the main event.

They went right after each other from the opening bell, throwing huge bombs right out of the gate…knowing the people involved, that says a lot. Gerald won a quick first fall with the Michinoku Driver in a brisk 3:24. Fitchett lifted Gerald into a torture rack and dropped him into a reverse Go 2 Sleep(hitting the knee to the back of the head) for a near-fall, but hitting the move a second time was enough to even the score in 6:13.

Things got really wild in the final fall as Fitchett lawndarted Gerald into the wall, then hit the cradle piledriver in the ring for a near-fall. Gerald managed to fight back, but Fitchett countered a piledriver attempt on the apron by backdropping him onto the edge of the ring! Fitchett set the champion up on the turnbuckles, but Gerald came back with a flying DDT onto the edge of the ring…eep. Fitchett was left bloody, but incredibly managed to keep fighting…he delivered a cradle pildriver on the floor(!), then one more in the ring to FINALLY capture the title in 11:28!

Davey Vega celebrated with the new champion, who had to be assisted from the ring…we found out the following night that Fitchett had suffered a concussion. Dorian Victor and Christian Rose went to the ring to help the former champion…but out of nowhere, Rose turned on both of them! Rose locked James in the No-Leaf Clover, yelling at him “YOU LOST!” before leaving the “father and son” laying in the ring. After all of that, James addressed the fans…he said that whether they loved or hated him, he had hopefully earned their respect after his long title reign. He wasn’t sure how much longer he had to wrestle, but he’d keep fighting.

St. Louis Anarchy Double Shot This Weekend with Chris Hero in Alton, Illinois

We will welcome back Chris Hero who is one of the top wrestlers legit in the whole world and you can see him not once but twice over that weekend.

Mr. Adams and Mr. Connors will have the biggest test of their careers when they face Chris Hero and Trik Davis in a tag team match.

Stage Two will be Jo Jo Bravo vs. Chris Hero. This one will be interesting as Bravo said he is happy to get a chance to face a man like Hero but he is also upset that once again he won’t get a chance to “make Elgin shake his hand”.

The Champion Gary Jay puts his over two year run on the line at Stage One when he faces Anarchy Rumble winner Mat Fitchett. Fitchett has made it clear that he is not the same man that Gary beat 2 falls and 0 back at Circus Maximus 2014… Gary however also isn’t the same man as he has gotten even better since that night… Gary overcame his only demon in Anarchy by knocking out cold Davey Richards…

2015 Missouri Wrestling Revival Wrestler of the Year Jeremy Wyatt

In 2015 many wrestlers in the Midwest deserved to win awards by having great matches, earning accolades and drawing big crowds all around the Midwest. That could not have been done if the talent was not delivering in the ring having fans counting the days till the next event.

Jeremy Wyatt first won the MWR Wrestler of the Year award in 2008 when he earned the nickname the Belt Collector by capturing belts throughout the Midwest. Since that time he has been in the running for the same award every year as he delivered excellent matches and built a fan base through cheers and hate throughout the Midwest.

In 2015, Jeremy Wyatt once again filled the arenas with historic matches and feuds while being showcased in 23 main events in 5 of the MWR promotions including his home of Kansas City, as well as Des Moines, Iowa, Granite City, Illinois and Council Bluffs Iowa.

His feud with Metro Pro Wrestling commissioner Michael Strider has lead to huge matches with the likes of Christopher Daniels, Matt Striker, Ricky Cruz, Christian Rose, Ace Steel and has involved Jim Cornette to help spearhead wrestling back to life in Kansas City. He represented 3XW as their champion against the like of Rory Fox while feuding with his often friend/rival Mark Sterling in a dog collar ladder No DQ match and an 80 Minute Iron Man match, while facing Hype Gotti in a loser leaves PWP match in July.

In St. Louis, Wyatt found himself drawing red hot heat from the fans at St. Louis Anarchy and PWCS as he battled Colt Cabana while testing his skills against KC Karrington, Makaze, & Steven Kennedy in the main events.

There is talks that Jeremy Wyatt is close to calling it a career, but if anything is clear it is that his impact on the MWR Coverage area is still being felt in 2015 and beyond.

The 2015 Fall Rundown of Classic Matches in the MWR Coverage Area

The fall months of November were red hot as the best in the Midwest battled it out in cages, survivor series matches, and Iron Man matches and much more. We got to see wrestling superstars such as Ricky Morton, Davey Richards, D.J. Shiima Xion, and Colt Cabana in action and new champions.

Once again Missouri Wrestling Revival continued their tradition as being the home for fans to find out about this must attend events. Let us take a look at just a small sample of the great matches that you should of have seen live.

11/07/2015 – Dynamo Pro Wrestling- Fenton, Missouri

One Last Dance for Jordan Lacey at St. Louis Anarchy

Jordan Lacey came out for the preshow match, but said he was frustrated to be in that position and would rather hang up the tights than be reduced to that spot. That brought out St. Louis Anarchy Heavyweight Champion Gerald James & Dorian Victor to lay the badmouth on their fellow LWA original…Lacey got fed up and challenged Gerald with the mindset of having nothing to lose. Gerald and Dorian wanted it to be more interesting and Lacey said he would never challenge for the title again if he didn’t win it. However, Dorian said that he was talking about retirement, so why not put his career on the line? That set up the night’s championship match (A title match had been advertised but no opponent had been announced.)

Lacey went old-school-ish with the robe, feather boa, and smaller tights…he even gave a few lucky(?) fans an impromptu lap dance. However, the heels went the subterfuge route in a hurry as Victor blindsided him with a chair before the bell…then Gerald ran in from the front door and quickly encouraged the referee to start the match.

James delivered a “Shadows Over Hell-Bow”(top-rope elbowdrop on a bent-over opponent) to win the first fall in 15 seconds…a few fans didn’t realize it was two-out-of-three and thought it was already over. Despite the early advantage, Lacey battled back and they brawled outside the ring, leading to the big man diving off the ledge by the building stairway!

Gary Jay was able to move just enough in time to not get killed.

He took out Gerald, Dorian, and the ringside security guards…Hardcore Andy just CAN’T catch a break these days. The match went back into the ring and Lacey caught him in the Jenna Jameson(swinging uranagi) for a clean second fall in 7:20…DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES?!? Gerald fought back but couldn’t keep the challenger down in the deciding fall, so he blatantly beat him down with a chair and got disqualified in 10:11. (Okay…so the rule-enforcement seems to be a bit more arbitrary than I thought.) Gerald escaped with the title and his 25-month title reign continues…

While Jordan Lacey technically won the match, he didn’t win the title…and he acknowledged that it was his last match. Several wrestlers came out, primarily Lethal Wrestling Alliance originals like Adam Caster, Evan Gelistico, promoter Pierre Abernathy, and The Viking War Party. They noted that Lacey has made a lot of contributions behind the scenes in both the LWA and SLA, even dating back to when several of the local-based wrestlers got started. Lacey got a great ovation for his retirement…he flew under the radar compared to his contemporaries who traveled outside of the area, but he was a solid guy with an entertaining character(particularly in his “Gorgeous” days). A Perfect Night for MWR at SICW – Dubray Tallman Says Yes

Missouri Wrestling Revival has had the pleasure to support pro wrestling in the Midwest for the past 8 years by covering the biggest events, awesome matches and moments in hundreds of events. During that time we have provided a home for fans to come to so that they are aware of where to be and why, with over 4,000 posts and thousands upon thousands of photos of the young wrestlers in action looking to live their dream as a wrestling superstar.

While MWR has been blessed to have the support of promoters and wrestlers around the country, and have our very own Yearbooks on Amazon.com and MWR T-shirts sold around the world on ProwrestlingTees, our biggest achievement most definitely has been the positive relationship with the wrestling community and the fans around the country.

They say that behind every good man is a good woman. For myself that has been Dubray Tallman. I had met her over 11 years ago and during that time I wish that I could say that it has been easy, but alas we have had highs and lows that have been self-inflicted at times. Yet, there is no doubt that there has been no women that I have loved as much as I have loved her.

As we were dating early on, I took her to see Harley Race’s World League Wrestling and Kansas’s Central States Wrestling. At the events we would build a foundation of friends in and out of the ring that we still share to this day. Our life would change forever on a day that my friend Josh Ray, called to ask me if I wanted to contribute to a website called Missouri Wrestling Revival. Early on it was Josh, myself and a talented young writer still in High School from St. Louis named Kari Williams who hoped to present a professional positive view of the local wrestling scene in the Midwest.

Years would pass and both Josh and Kari would go on to bigger and better things in life, but Dubray and I would travel to over 40 events a year in Missouri, Kansas, Illinois and Iowa. The amount of miles, money and time to do this site has taken up a huge amount of the past decade for the two of us. Dubray has never been a wrestling fan, but has always been there to support my love for pro wrestling.

So when I decided that I should ask my true love to marry me, I wanted to do something special that she would remember for the rest of her life like the best anniversary gifts. One of my most vivid memories growing up was Macho Man Randy Savage proposing marrying Miss Elizabeth, and I wanted to provide Dubray a moment where she was the main attraction for our biggest moment to date.

The decision was where to have the big moment. First and foremost, Kansas City has always been like my first home as that is where we went for over a year to start to check out the stars of CSW. Today, wrestling is even bigger and better there as Metro Pro Wrestling is the place to be in Kansas City every other month. The Turner Rec Center is always packed with close to 400-to 500 fans that we are very close to. The promotionis also the home to my close friend and the Artist of Champions Rob Schamberger while having a great mixture of talent that we have supported in several promotions. So Kansas City would have been a great choice.

During the past couple of years our finances have been depleting as disappointments with jobs and our four kids going to college that our visits to Iowa has dwindled considerable. Still every time that we have made our way to the beautiful state of Iowa, it has been a true pleasure as the wrestling has been fun and the people are so awesome. We have seen that during the 2013 3XW Iowa Latino festival and this years Jeff Thompson Memorial event. I have long considered Iowa fan favorite Mark McDowell to be one of my best friends and it would be a pleasure to have done it at either PWP or 3XW.

Yet, St. Louis was the one place that I felt that it would be the perfect place to propose to Dubray due to the fact that it was the home of the majority of the promotions that we cover. It would allow a chance for all of our friends and fans of SICW, PWCS, WLW, Dynamo Pro Wrestling, New Breed Wrestling, MMWA,PWE, St. Louis Anarchy, Proving Ground Pro and High Risk Wrestling to make the trip to see put my heart on the line.

I decided that the SICW’s home of East Carondelet, Illinois would be the perfect place to do so as the the Community Center is always packed with fans that have become friends for years, and is the home of St. Louis’s only TV tapping SICW Wrestling Explosion. Add on the fact that promoter Herb Simmons and his wife Mickey have been very close friends and the ring announcer/commentator Dr. Drew was a friend of ours long before he earned a career in the sport, I had faith that they would do what they could to make it go as smooth as possible.

On the way home from the historic WLW Ric Flair/WWE/NOAH/NEW JAPAN camp event in Troy, Missouri in August I made the call to ask Herb if it was possible that I would be allowed to propose to Dubray in the ring in the near future. My idea was to have Herb announce that he was going to present us with an “award” to thank us for our support of pro wrestling in the Midwest. Beings that she was included in the announcement from Herb she would be required to be in attendance that night. A quick note, Dr. Drew would cement that thought in her head in a positive light when he announced during their TV show that the “Queen of MWR” Dubray and I would be there to accept the award.

Herb asked me if I would like to do it at the October event as it was going to be a huge night with the St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame. I was concerned that we would be trying to take away the focus of the Hall of Fame induction, to which Herb stated that he believed that it would only add to the occasion. So with his blessing and help the day was set for the big announcement.

I have never been good on the mic, so it has always been a good that I have been working behind the scenes through the website and photos. When it was time to put my heart on the line, Herb was a 100 percent right, the time could not have been any better. Thanks to the huge night of honoring Bill Apter and Eddie Smith into the Hall of Fame, there was many friends in the building that may not have been there otherwise as friends came from Minnesota , Iowa and beyond.

During the week I had watched some proposals online to help me find the right words and actions to make her moment as special as possible. With time on my hands I also watched some proposal fails that were funny, but a possibility for us to be included if I was to total mess It up.

Before I knew it, we were in the ring accepting our award, and as we had planned Herb and Drew encouraged Dubray to show off our new plaque to the fans as I prepared to get on my knees to ask the biggest question of our life. The moment was a blur, but I will forever remember the huge pop from the crowd as she said yes. Throughout the night, friends and people I did not know were all smiles as they congratulated us on the big moment. Looking back I know in my heart that it was a huge success as among those that were happy for us, there were many young kids around the age of 7-15 that stopped me to congratulate me on doing it in the ring, they thought it was so cool. Kids are as honest as they come and anytime you can impress them (and not bore them lol) on a night filled with hard hitting wrestling action then you know it was a huge success.

Thank you to Promoter Herb Simmons and SICW for allowing us to have our moment in the ring and for all the boys and girls in the locker room who were more than happy to take a proposal photo for fun.
