Already signed for August 21 is a Six Man Tag Team Match featuring the PWE United States Champion Brandon Aarons who has recruited not one but two promising talents in Krotch & “24 K” Jimmy Karryt, to take on the man who attacked Aarons last month in his match with Tyler Black, “The Apex” Blake Steel, and his hand picked partners the NEW PWE Tag Team Champions: Aaron Matthews, & Jeff Harris collectively known as “Dead Sexy”.
Others scheduled to appear on August 21 include The Mississippi Madman, Sean Vincent, Mephisto, and more to be announced as the date approaches.

Current Heritage Wrestling Coalition Champion: “The Future” Donovan Ruddick, along with Mr. Late Nite have issued a challenge, and it has been accepted by the 450 lb Mississippi Madman!
Also on the horizon for August 28 is another anticipated title match as Brandon Aarons puts his United States Championship on the line for the first time against “The Apex” Blake Steel.
Also appearing: Pro Wrestling Epic Tag Team Champions: “Dead Sexy”, and more yet to be announced!
In the opener, Benz defeated TRIPC for the Central Illinois Championship, when Billy Morgan turned out not to be medically cleared to wrestle that night. TRIPC scoffed at Morgan and took on Benz, which ultimately cost him!

Then, it what would definitely be considered a surprise, “The Dodgeball Superstar” Tyler PriegeL sneaked out a win against the New Midwest Original, Rip Mystic. Mystic seemed to be off his game, and he wasn’t happy with the loss.

Dan The Man, our own superhero, thwarted the entire S.I.N. Club with a victory over Dareian Frost. DTM is on a hot streak and we’re excited to see where it goes.

We have NEW Tag Team Champions in Michael Shard and Spencer Powers. When Guy Smith was unable to make the event, due to scheduling conflict, Spencer Powers was able to pick any partner of his choosing. That stipulation created the loophole that Michael Shard (who was on a two year ban for title contention) needed. And after outlasting the strong showing of the former champions (Tom Arson and Ryan Phoenix), the breakthrough performance of the Full Metal Jackals(Danny Cannon and Alex Castle), and the proud determination of LOGANTYRE (Eric Logan and Justin MacIntyre), Attitude Inc. came out on top and we have NEW New Midwest Wrestling Tag Team Champions!

And in the Main Event, Jonathan Magnus pulled out all the stops to retain his New Midwest Wrestling Championship against the Apex, Blake Steel. After an extreme catfight, a chairshot heard throughout the halls of Lanphier High School, and interference from the returning Eric Ruffington, Blake Steel was unable to reach his goal of becoming champion. Magnus is counting his blessings after the near upset to Steel.

Brandon Aarons is one of the hottest young stars in the Midwest today
Since defeating Gary J in the semi finals then outlasting Billy McNeil, Adam Rich, & Eric Allen to claim the IHW first ever St Lois Wrestling Invitational cup on June 14th
2010 has been a banner year for the young star since he parted ways in the very talented tag team B.A.B.EWatch with partner Brandon Espinosa. Big wins against would follow him and on February 6th Brandon Aarons defeated Mephisto, Sean Vincent, Billy McNeil, Eric Allen, & Steven Kennedy to become the NEW IHW champion
Aarons has been on a red hot streak since then racking up wins against the likes of Steven Kennedy and Eric Allen plus the big win against the Pro Wrestling Epic US Champion and 2009 MWR Wrestler of the Year Mark Sterling in Mt Pulaski Illinois.
He would become a MWR Triple Crown winner by upsetting Kansas City Killer and 2009 PWI Rookie of the Year Mike Sydal to become the High Voltage Wrestling Livewire Champion at NWA Dynamo Wrestling.
Just last month Brandon Aarons step up to the plate to take on the Ring of Honor World Champion Tyler Black at PWE in an impressive showing before “The Apex” Blake Steel attacked him (Aarons) thus giving the PWE US Champion a bittersweet victory over the World Champion.
The best is yet to come for this rising Midwest star. It is with great pleasure that we announce that the MWR Trading card number 15 is “Irresistible” Brandon Aarons.

Dubray Tallman, back here at MWR with a brand new Dubi Meets the fans and for the very first time we were at New Midwest Wrestling in Springfield, Illinois.
A few months ago NMW sent a video via Youtube stating that they wanted us to come check them out.
To be honest we are so busy attending shows every week that Brian mentioned to me at the first of the year that he was going to try not to add any promotions in our coverage area so that we could give proper coverage to the ones that are already in the MWR Family. Add on the problem that on many weekends he is torn on which promotions to go to because they have shows on the same day. I must say, that I do feel as if we have been fair about making the rounds to each promotion and while distance and time are sometimes what makes the final decision in where we go. I can not lie I was very impressed personally with the invite and truly excited that they thought enough of us.
I had asked Brian who I knew from prior shows that we have gone to and he stated that “The Appex” Blake Steel was in the main event taking on NMW Champion Jonathan Magnus while Steve Bishop, Ryan Phoenix, Christian Rose and Dan the Man were all in action.
The day was shaping up to be an adventure and I was looking forward to checking NMW out. We got there early and right away we were interviewed from NMW for a documentary that they were doing. Brian is dreading hearing it because he thinks he may sound stupid but I look forward to seeing what they come up with.
The then NMW Tag Champs Ryan Phoenix and Tom Arson wear the MWR colors to the ring. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
Due to the fact that NMW had been patiently waiting for us to come check them out and to make the debut at NMW special Brian decided that for our MWR Wrestling superstar t-shirt giveaway we would have the first ever tag team involved. For the new fans, we try to give away a shirt to a lucky fan by having a wrestler wear it to the ring and when they take it off they are free to throw it out of the ring to a lucky fan. It’s a great way for us to spread the word about MWR and the wrestlers that we cover. On this night the NMW Tag team Champions The New Immolare (Ryan Phoenix and Tom Arson ) wear the shirts to the ring and I must say they looked pretty sweet coming out of the back if I must say so my self. Later on I would catch up with both fans that caught the shirts to get their picture taken with them.
New Midwest Wrestling also did something new to us, they did not have an intermission, but they promised that when I asked the fans who their favorite wrestler was that they would stay after the show to take pictures with them so that eased my mind.
Devin Kodett with Dan the Man (Photo Credit Dubray Tallman)
The first person I spoke to Devin Kodett who chose Dan the Man. This would be a theme of the night as New Midwest Wrestling fans love themselves some Dan the Man. In fact now that I think about it there is no doubt that he is one of the most loved wrestlers that I have seen, right up there with Krotch, Curly, Santana G and the Mississippi Madman.
Two masked heroes team up after the matches as Triston and Dan the Man strikes the super hero pose. (Photo Credit Dubray Tallman)
I met Triston who was there the first time and had purchased a DTM mask and was looking forward to wrestling action.
Up next were John and Lori Gwin who were from Springfield Illinois who stated that this was also their first time checking out NMW. They were very friendly and didn’t know the wrestlers so I offered to let them watch the show and then let me know who they liked then we would get there picture with their favorite.
Keagon Fox poses with The New Immolare’s Tom Arson and Ryan Phoenix proudly after Ryan Phoenix hand delivered the shirt to the young fan.
Then I met Keagan Fox who was really excited for the show to begin. He was undecided on who he would choose to have his picture taken later on in the show. His brother was a big help and I wished I would have had him get in the picture with Keagan but if you reading this the next time we come to NMW I would love for you to be a part of the next Dubi Meets the NMW Fans.
Keagon Fox poses with Dan the Man (Photo Credit Dubray Tallman )
It would so happen that Keagon would be the lucky fans that got the MWR Shirt, hand delivered by one half of the tag team champions, Ryan Phoenix. After the show I told Keagan that beings that he got the MWR shirt we could take his pictures with Immolare. He smiled and asked if he could still choose another wrestler to get his picture taken with. Of course I was more than happy to and was not surprised when he stated he wanted his picture taken with Dan the Man.
The New Immolare’s Tom Arson and Ryan Phoenix take a chance to celebrate the free MWR T-shirt with April Shade, Christina, Michaela and Kattie Hawkins. (Photo Credit Dubray Tallman)
The second fan who caught the shirt from Tom Arson was none other than April Shade. April’s daughter wanted the shirt for herself so she gave it to Christina Hawkins. Also in the picture were April’s sisters Michaela and Kattie Hawkins.

Right after the big four team scramble that include Attitude INC (Spencer Powers & Michael Shard) Logantyre (Eric Logan and Justin MacIntyre), The Full Metal Jackals (Danny Cannon and Alex Castle) & The New Immolare John and Lori let me know they would take the chance to get their picture with the New Tag Team Champions Attitude Inc.
All in all a fun night of wrestling and I am thankful that we took the time to see what NMW had to offer. We look forward to making our way back down to Springfield to check them out in the near future. Look for a full photo recap of this show in the near future at MWR plus interviews with Attitude Inc, Bobby Houston, Christian Rose and the NMW Champion Jonathan Magnus with Stephanie King.
Missouri Wrestling Revival Fans join me at World League Wrestlingin Park Hills Missouri tomorrow night for an action packed evening with my good friend Santana G as she takes on Amy Hennig for the WLW Title. I have already been messaged from a reader that wants to take part in Dubi meets the WLW Fansso I am looking forward to seeing who Kyle Valle’s favorite WLW Wrestler is. If you would like to be a part of Dubi meets the fans all you have to do is come up and introduce yourself to me at a show.

From the desk of New Midwest Office Liason, Lucious P. CoTrane:
“The Tag Team Championship match was lacking in a little ‘I-Don’t-Know-What”. You see, LOGANTYRE only as deserving as any other team on the Tag Team Revival roster. So, in effort to give everyone a fair chance, I’ve decided to add to the match, to give it …a little flair… Okay, okay. A LOT of flair. With the hot reception of the last Scramble match, I’ve decided we need more I hope you fans enjoy!”

Join Missouri Wrestling Revival for a night of action that you will not want to miss!!
Missouri Wrestling Revival’s Dubray Tallman was excited to catch up with “The Apex” Blake Steel after a show to get comments about the biggest match in his young career this month when he goes after the New Midwest Wrestling Championship currently held by Jonathan Magnus.
We are excited about making our way to Springfield Illinois this Saturday at the Lanphier High School .
Dubray Tallman will be on hand to for the very first ever “Dubi meets the NMW Fans” and you will have a chance to catch a free MWR T-shirt from a NMW Superstar.
Join Missouri Wrestling Revival when we check out NMW for the very first time.
We are back with another edition of Dubi Meets the fans, last time we were in Des Moines Iowa for 3XW and for this one we had to travel through Missouri to Illinois to make our way to Dupo for Independent Hardcore Wrestling.
IHW has been red hot in 2010 with some large crowds that have been very energetic, in fact the size of the crowd have got so large that they are going to need to find a new building to hold all the fans. This night would be no different as IHW was filled with a great mix of talent including a non-title rematch between IHW Champion Brandon Aarons taking on the self proclaim greatest wrestler ever from Illinois, the current IHW Illinois Champion Eric Allen, the ultra talented Bailey Mannix met Tony Kozina while Mr. Late Nite caused chaos and Evan Money, Steven Kennedy, Billy McNeil and Sean Vincent went toe to toe to become the 2ND Annual IHW ST Louis Invitational Tournament Champion that Aarons had won last year. This year the hated Sean Vincent would take home the bragging rights.
Everywhere we go Brian and I have a ton of friends and with so many promotions in St Louis it is only magnified which makes going to the shows a ton of fun. Brian had spoken to our friends Jonathan Jones and his wife Lena on the way to the show to find out if they were going to make it to the show but one of their children was in the Hospital so he was unsure of what time they could make it.
Prior to the show started I ran into the people from Iconsofwrestling who have the wonderful Gods of Wrestling painting with so many old and new stars filling this must see painting. This was the first time that I had seen this and I have to say it was a sight to see. I went in to get Brian to let him know that the artist Icon, Ed Schultz and Dotty Mattis were there. While we sat outside talking fans where coming by to check out this masterpiece. Brian mentioned to them that they should contact both Metro Pro and Larry Barber about showing off the poster in Kansas. He also stated that this summer’s big Wrestling Hall of Fame ceremonies in Iowa was about to happen and would be a golden opportunity to share the art with many people that love Wrestling. They are really hard at work promoting this one of a kind piece and was on their way to do double duty that night as they were off to meet our good friend Herb Simmons at MMWA-SICW. If you would like to check out the Gods of Thunder click here.
Before I knew it the doors had open and the crowd filled the building waiting for some great wrestling action. Brian was busy proudly showing off the new MWR Trading card that Mephisto had done which went over well with everyone. The next day he was to announce that Tyler Black would be the 10th card but was keeping it a secret till he posted it on the site. I know if Brian won the lottery he would just make a card for everyone but though expense of making one is reasonable making several can become expensive , so for the time being he is unable to make as many as he would like. If you would are a wrestler, Manager/Valet or referee and would like to have an awesome collectable for you to sell or have I highly recommend that you contact Brian on the details. Already in the set are Santana G, Mark Sterling, MsChifKahagas, and Mike Sydal. Likewise if you are a business or wrestling school and would like to sponsor a wrestler with your business logo on the card feel free to ask how. Personally I don’t think that it will be complete until there is a Derek Stone and Dubi card.
It seems as if everyone was excited to be a part of Dubi meets the fans so it is getting easier to find people to want to be a part of it. This night wrestling Superfan Erica Jones was joined with her sister Michelle brought birthday boy Joshua Jackson who had just turned 7th and little man Ellies. A great way to celebrate your birthday is at a wrestling show. They were all big fans of Mephisto who happily took the time to take a picture.
Joshua and Ellies with Mephisto (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
Young Braden Pulcher was at IHW for the first time so I let him watch the matches to decide which IHW Star he would take his picture with. Not surprisingly he chose the charismatic “The Kid” Evan Money to have his picture with. Money was successful in the first round Jordan McEntyre in an exciting match and during the intermission posed with his new fan.

Next up was one of the most hardcore wrestling fans in the area Andrew Adams otherwise known as the “Firefighter”. Andrew choose Brandon Aarons at first but when he saw that I took Mickie Knuckles as my picture he changed his mind and we were more than happy to have give him his wish with the hardcore beauty.
“The Firefighter” Andrew Adams and Mickie Knuckles (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
Dupo is Mephisto territory and he would be picked once again. This time Kolby Stephens wanted his picture taken with him as well. Mephisto fans would were happy to see him team up with Justin Wade to defeat MR Late Nites men Brandon Graves and Cable. The loss would lead to MR Late Nite firing Cabal while Graves and The Perfect Weapon Morbid attacking their former partner.

Dennis Corderant the winner of the MWR T-shirt that was thrown by superstar Adam Rich, gets to pose with the rising star (Photo Credit Brian Kelley )
The Wrestler of the night who would throw a MWR Shirt to one lucky fan turned out to be young Adam Rich. Rich was returning to the ring after a short absence and would have his hands full with the hated Canadian in the first round of the STL Tournament. Young Dennis Corderant would be the lucky fan that caught the MWR Shirt. Later in the night Rich took the time to have his picture taken with the young fan.
As I mentioned before I always try to choose a picture with a star as well though sometimes I get so busy I do not get it done. I have always been impressed with Mickie Knuckles and she happily posed with me prior to her match with Mia Martinez. Mickie is one tough girl.
Dubray Tallman and Mickie Knuckles (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)
As far as Jonathan, him and Lena would not make it till the main event match with Brandon Aarrons and Eric Allen match. They were so impressed that they purchased tickets for IHW’S return to Dupo on July 24th.
MWR Fans thank you for taking the time to read this article. In the near future look for Dubi meets the Fans at Pro Wrestling Epic from Mt Pulaski Illinois and if all goes as planned we will make our long waited debut at New Midwest Wrestling in Springfield Illinois for their show Boiling Point. Keep an eye out for my special interview with Blake Steel as he goes after the NMW Title currently held by Jonathan Magnus.

After capturing his first PWE championship title, back in April, with an impressive victory over then United States Champion Mark Sterling, Brandon Aarons looks to prove that he is not just the flavor of the month in Pro Wrestling Epic.
Aarons looks to gain respect as he prepares for arguably the toughest challenge of his young career, when he steps into the ring with current Ring Of Honor World Champion, Tyler Black.
To followers of the independent professional wrestling landscape, Tyler Black is a staple, not only because of his present status in ROH, but also because of his legitimate claim to being one of the top pro wrestlers on the planet, having been ranked at #17 on Pro Wrestling Illustrated Magazine’s “PWI 500” in 2009.
While Brandon Aarons is not yet a household name across the globe, he has spent the better part of the last year, establishing himself one victory at a time defeating some of the best talent that the midwest has to offer.
Key wins over current NWA Central States Champion Mark Sterling,as well as Mike Sydal, (brother of WWE superstar Evan Bourne), both of whom he defeated for their respective titles, have helped to raise the stock of Brandon Aarons in Pro Wrestling Epic.
In addition to those accomplishments, Aarons is also the current flagship of Independent Hardcore Wrestling, having held the Heavyweight title since February.
Can his momentum carry him to the next level of what can only be decribed as his breakout year? Find out on June 26 in Mt. Pulaski.
