Kansas City Xtreme Wrestling presents “Xtreme Heat” at the Ararat Event Center in Kansas City, Mo. on Saturday, June 8.

A smashing double-header championship card is headlined by Hollis Giroux’s second defense of the coveted Missouri State crown.

Plus, Derek Stone attempts to become a dual titleholder in Missouri, as the reigning WLW kingpin challenges for Shannon Reed’s KCXW title.

Dynamo Pro Wrestling Loading Dock Event in Grafton, Illinois Rescheduled to July 19th

This past weekend SICW hosted a seminar in conjunction with the Bruiser Brody/ Larry Matysik Memorial featuring the former NWA Champion of the World “The Man With the Hands of Stone” Ronnie Garvin, Killer Tim Brooks and Cowboy Bob Orton. The 3 hour seminar allowed students a chance to showcase their skills in front of the legends.

This Saturday May 25th at the East Carondelet Illinois community center former SICW CHAMPION and local WRESTLING legend will be back in the ring as a “Special Guest” referee for the “Main Event” when Champion Superstar Steve Fender defends the title against “The King of Chaos” Ricky Cruz. This is all part of the 60th year anniversary of the history of WRESTLING at the chase along with the Bruiser Brody and Larry Matysik Memorial.

Hollis Giroux puts both titles up in a blindfold match at CCW, May 18

Cape Championship Wrestling is at the Shawnee Park Sports Complex in Cape Girardeau on Saturday, May 18.

Hollis Giroux is scheduled to defend his CCW Pure Openweight title against Farmer Billy Hills in a blindfold match. Being a singles match, the Missouri belt is also at stake.

The stipulation came about when Giroux’s manager Seanán Young shot a fireball into Hills’s eyes a couple weeks ago, putting the bout in jeopardy.

However, CCW has decided to “level the field” and so both men’s vision will be obstructed in the blindfold match.

Dynamo Pro Wrestling and Gateway Harley-Davidson Present Bikes, Beer, and Body Slams this Thursday

Dynamo Pro Wrestling, in association with Gateway Harley-Davidson, are pleased to announce a series of professional wrestling events. For years, professional wrestling and Harley-Davidson have been highly recognized in the St. Louis area. Dynamo Pro Wrestling and Gateway Harley-Davidson have chosen to come together and present great evenings of professional wrestling. The first event of this series will take place as a part of Gateway Harley-Davidson’s “Bike Night” events on Thursday, May 16th, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

 

This event will be held at Gateway Harley-Davidson, located at 3600 Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis, Missouri.

Hollis Giroux defeats Ace Hawkins for the MWR Missouri Championship

This past weekend at KCXW Mayhem, the MWR Missouri Champion Ace Hawkins defended his title against the young up-and-comer Hollis Giroux at the Ararat Event Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Hawkins, a former Pro Wrestling Illustrated Rookie of the Year and a man that has used his speed and wrestling skills to win titles around the Midwest, was matched move-for-move in a stunning battle that saw Giroux’s hand raised with the title of the new MWR Missouri Champion.

I would like to thank Ace Hawkins for his State title reign, as he took on challengers at the top promotions around the Midwest. A rematch with Giroux promises to be worth the price of admission alone and we hope to see these two go to war again.

Giroux is a star at KCXW and Cape Championship Wrestling. This title reign should allow fans around Missouri to see what I see now: a man that is capable of delivering entertaining matches night in and night out. The best is yet to come and I look forward to covering his title reign against the top talents in the State of Missouri.
