This past weekend Missouri Wrestling Revival covered the shocking events during the 4-man tournament to crown a new World League Wrestling Champion in Richmond , Missouri.
In the first round former WLW Champion and son of Harley Race, Leland Race was able to capture a hard fought victory against the “Worlds Fittest Wrestler” Mark Sterling. Jon Webb had just came off a huge win against the former WLW Champion Brian Breaker in Linn, Missouri at the end of August but on this night Elvis Aliaga took it to the young high flyer to reach the finals of the WLW Tournament.
With the fans and experience on his side, it looked as if Race was on his way to regain the WLW Championship with his dad watching on, but out of nowhere came the Black Hand Warriors ( Dark Shadows and Michael Magnuson) who came to the ring to give Aliaga the advantage when the ref was knocked out after an accidental blow.
With one chair shot from Dark Shdaows, the era of Elvis Aliaga has now began.
Missouri Wrestling Revival covers many of the top stars in the country today. While many fans are very aware of the 2012 MWR Future Star Award recipient ACH, the adventures of Jake Dirden and the expert tag team philosophy of the Hooligans, there are many others that have a very bright future. In the next few days I am going to give you a list of a few of the most talented young wrestlers that will main event shows for years to come.
This is NOT a list that is in an order of importance, just a compilation of athletes that are sure to have you on your feet, either cheering or booing at a show present or future.
Elvis Aliaga
Elvis Aliaga – Hailing from Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines, young Aliaga took the wise decision to travel to Eldon, Missouri to train with one of the greatest ever, Harley Race. Aliaga was sent into the fire in his first match when he met, Steve Fender. Since that time the huge Elvis Presley fan, has captured the WLW Tag Team championship together with current WWE Developmental wrestler Ryan Drago, giving him a taste of gold early on.
Former WLW Champ OTT feels the huge elbow from Elvis.
There is no doubt that you will see Elvis become a huge part of pro wrestling for years to come.
Elvis Aliaga looked impressive in his debut at Metro Pro Wrestling, but the experience and talent of the Kansas Champion Tyler Cook was to much to handle on this night.. One would expect these two young stallions to battle for years to come.
Last night at Metro Pro Wrestling ,Ryan Drago teamed up with the American Bulldogs in a tough battle against the King Brothers and the Worlds Fittest wrestler, Mark Sterling . After the exciting matchup, Ryan Drago spoke to MPW interview specialist Midnight Guthrie to let the MPW fans know that he has been offered the well-deserved opportunity to head to Florida to further his career with WWE developmental.
Drago has been training at Harley Race’s World League Wrestling, most recently being one half of the WLW Tag Team Champions with Elvis Aliaga while capturing the hearts of the Metro Pro Wrestling faithful.
From everyone at Missouri Wrestling Revival.com we would like to wish the best to Ryan Drago as he reaches another goal in his life.
