Lethal Wrestling Alliance on May 24, 2008

Lethal Wrestling Alliance made an impact in St. Peters, MO on May 24th at the Vetta Sports Complex. With a draw of 127, the LWA Superfans let their voices be heard from chanting, “Boring!” during the slower paced matches and screaming at the top of their lungs as “The Future” Donovan Ruddick slammed Gary the Barn Owl into a table.

Evan Gelistico & Jordan Lacey v. Pierre Abernathy & Dorian Victor

Originally, this bout was to consist of Pierre Abernathy challenging Evan Gelistico for the LWA Medallion. However, before the two could even lock up, Dorian Victor made his presence felt as he offered Abernathy a $5,000 check so that Victor himself had a chance at the Medallion. Abernathy agreed, but only moments into the bout, he interfered, which, in effect, caused a tag team match to develop between half of the members of the Bearded Men from Space Station 11 and Abernathy and Victor.

Jordan Lacey & Evan Gelistico defeated Pierre Abernathy & Dorian Victor.

K.C. Karrington v. Davey Vega

The bitter rivalry between these two competitors skyrocketed to a completely new level of disdain. Karrington and Vega held nothing back as they brawled relentlessly outside of the ring before the referee had even rung the bell. Vega’s conniving and deceitful ways brought about his loss of the match, as Karrington won by disqualification. Perhaps bitter about the loss, or simply so fueled by hate, Vega went on to berate Karrington after the bout and unremittingly hit him with a chair. However, the beating did not end there, as Vega began to douse his nemesis in lighter fluid, until The Ego Express’s manager, Tiffani, ran to the ring and pleaded with Vega. It took a handful of the other wrestlers to restrain Vega, who clearly has a score to settle.

K.C. Karrington defeated Davey Vega by disqualification.

LWA “Presidential Debate”

Keeping up with the election of the LWA president, is not near as hard as keeping tabs on the Democratic side of the United States presidential race. Prior to the intermission, the nominees for LWA president (Steve Miller, Bavarian Boy, Luke Roberts and Jacob Dangle) were asked a series of three questions. Roberts seemed to be the only one with a real sense of direction on the matters at hand, dishing out possible solutions and talking about everything that is right with LWA, as opposed to Miller, who only focused on the wrongs.

Tyler Cook v. Jeremy Wyatt

Without a president, things seemed to be changing at a rapid pace, as the bout between Cook and Wyatt became a fight for the LWA Medallion when Gelistico relinquished it. Both athletes waged war with all the vigor and vitality that make them championship material. Both men looked like technicians in the ring, with their pure athleticism and skill. After a lengthy, hard-fought battle, Wyatt’s prowess triumphed.

Jeremy Wyatt defeated Tyler Cook to become the new LWA Medallion Holder.

B.A.B.E. WATCH (Brandon Espinosa & Brandon Aarons) v. A.J. Williams & Michael Serious

“Girls go crazy!” was the “battle cry,” so to speak, as the smug team of Espinosa and Aarons made their way to ringside to face Mike Serious and the debuting A.J. Williams. During the fast-paced bout, the B.A.B.E.s did everything they could to distract the referee in order to bamboozle their opponents, including Aarons taunting Serious, who was not the legal man, so that Espinosa could choke out Williams. Despite a valiant effort by Serious and Williams, the immoral tactics of Espinosa and Aarons prevailed.

B.A.B.E. WATCH defeated A.J. Williams and Michael Serious.

Heavyweight Championship: “Future” Donovan Ruddick (Champion) v. Gary the Barn Owl

In this no-disqualification match-up, Ruddick and Gary beat the hell out of each other using anything and everything they could get their hands on. They brought a new meaning to ‘hardcore’ wrestling and ended the show in a meteoric fashion. Gary fought with valor, never giving up, despite a large laceration on his shoulder. Ruddick showed his dominance and provided validity for anyone who felt he was not worthy of holding the Heavyweight Title.

“Future” Donovan Ruddick defeated Gary the Barn Owl to retain the Heavyweight Championship.

Overall Assessment:

Despite a slow-paced first half, the LWA made up for it after intermission with three stellar matches that stole the show.

As far as wrestlers and the St Louis scene are concerned, we will start with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton. Have you had any past interactions with “The Legend Killer“?

I have had some indirect contact with Randy through his father. However, as far as direct contact, I have not had the privilege of working with him. He came to South Broadway about a year after I left to wrestle on the St. Louis wrestling scene.

How do you feel of his work as a wrestler?

As a wrestler, Randy Orton is coming into his own as one of the best “bad guys” in the sport. He has developed an attitude that incites professional wrestling fans to hate him. Given the right opportunities, I feel that Randy will be at the top tier of the WWE for years to come.

Let’s stay with the Orton family and talk about his father “Cowboy” Bob Orton, who I met at an OSWA show a while back.

I have had several run-ins with “Cowboy” Bob Orton. Every time I work with him, I always have a great time. Even though he may not be in his prime, he still can provoke a crowd to hate him. From working with him, it is easy to see that many of the skills that Randy Orton has are genetic.

St Louis has been represented well here recently with Delirious, MsChif, and Daizee Haze wrestling in LWA for the Michael Johnson Benefit show on May 3rd. Matt Sydal and Dingo have also made a splash. Which one has surprised you the most with their success?

If I had to choose one, I would have to say MsChif. The successes of the men notwithstanding, to excel as a women’s wrestler is a much more difficult task. Right now, she holds two of the most recognized championships in the world. That, combined with her athletic skills and her attitude, is the reason why I would choose MsChif as the St. Louis wrestler who has surprised me the most.

Who would you say in the past 18 years was the most underrated wrestler in the St Louis area?

In my career, the most underrated wrestler was John Blackheart. This man was technically sound and knew what it took to get a reaction out of the fans. He could go out and fly with the light heavyweights, brawl with the brawlers, manipulate the rules in the world of tag team wrestling, and do things behind a referee’s back that were pure gold. John Blackheart could go out to the ring with anyone and have a good match. He was just that good.

Who do you feel is the best tag team ever in professional wrestling?

The best tag team in professional wrestling, in my opinion, would be Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard. They thought and wrestled in almost perfect harmony with little to no communication necessary.

Who do you feel is the best tag team in St. Louis in the past 20 years?

That’s easy! Billy Bob and the Techno Kid! Just joking! Seriously, the answer to this question will stun a lot of people. From all of the tag teams that have wrestled in St. Louis on a regular basis, I would say that the Ego Express is the best tag team that I have seen in the past 20 years. They know what the other one is thinking at all times. They genuinely seem to like and trust each other. Their knowledge of the rules and how to break them is outstanding. Also, they have a manager/valet that fits their plans perfectly. The Ego Express, whether you like them or not, has all the tools to hang with any tag team in professional wrestling.

Is there anyone that comes to mind that never got the chance, but really deserved it?

I feel that “The Punisher” from the MVWA never really got his time in the spotlight. In his heyday, he could drive a crowd to almost riot status before he even entered the ring. If he would have had a company like an MMWA, GCW, or LWA to sign him and he could have stayed healthy, he could have been huge.

At the moment, you have the chance to become LWA President. You are running against Jacob Dangle, Steven Miller, Bavarian Boy. For those who have not been a part of LWA, tell us what that is about.

Since Yuletide Terror 2007, the LWA has been without a president. Management has decided that someone needs to take control of the LWA before chaos destroys the company. Seeing that I have refereed and ring announced for the LWA, a friend of mine tried to convince me to run for the LWA presidency and I brushed it off. Yet, as time went on, I heard that Steven Miller had found a loophole and weaseled his way into the election process. Once I heard that he was running, I knew that I had to give serious thought about running for LWA president.

Steven Miller thinks that, if Bavarian Boy or Jacob Dangle is elected president of the LWA, he can use his influence with Donovan Ruddick to intimidate them into doing what he wants. However, Mr. Miller knows that I am not, nor will never be, scared of anyone. I know that since I am running for LWA President against Steven Miller, if I lose, I will probably be out of a job.

The fans of the LWA need to make their opinions known. I recommend that everyone goes to www. lwawrestling. com and vote for who you think should be the new LWA president.

Biggest Match: Versus “Homicidal” Steven Davis in Carbondale, IL on 8/19/07 [AAPW Heavyweight Championship Tournament Finals to crown the 1st EVER AAPW Heavyweight Champion]. I was unsuccessful thanks to “Thunderbolt” Brandon Walker’s outside interference.

Edmund, what attracted me to you for the interview was seeing you in action with All American Pro Wrestling. I had taken the time to search for you on Myspace, and what stood out to me was the fact that you are such a student of the sport. You have quite a passion for wrestling. What drew you to wrestling and who did you look up to?

Well, it was really easy for me to get caught up in the wrestling craze thanks to my family being huge fans. Ever since I can remember, I have been a die-hard wrestling fan. I grew up on 80’s NWA, WCCW, WWF, WCW, AWA, and USWA Memphis. I, till this very day, remain a fan of the old-school era of wrestling, and study it relentlessly in preparation of matches. I have so many wrestlers that I idolized and looked up to, and who I saw as inspirations for me to get into this business: “Cowboy” Bob Orton, Jr., Harley Race, Dory Funk, Jr., “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, Nick Bockwinkel, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, “Superstar” Bill Dundee, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Dean Malenko, Chris Benoit, “Flyin” Brian Pillman, The Undertaker, and “Diamond” Dallas Page are some of the most notable ones that I remember idolizing.

Who trained you and was it what you expected?

“Homicidal” Steven Davis & “Dangerous” Donny Sixx trained me. I really can’t say it’s what I expected, but I went in with a positive attitude, kept my eyes and ears open and my mouth shut, and gave my very best efforts to learning the craft of pro wrestling. I am grateful for all of the knowledge and time these gentlemen put into training me and molding me into who I am today.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake, Kid Kash, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, Koko B. Ware, The Naturals, “Showtime” Eric Young, “Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm, Abyss, and Traci Brooks have all wrestled for AAPW, which must be a thrill for an up and coming wrestler such as yourself. Out of these Superstars which ones impressed you the most and really went that extra mile to work with the stars of tomorrow?

Koko B. Ware, hands down. Koko went out of his way to encourage me and to explain to me the art of promos. You know, how to make them believable. I made it a point to pick his brain regarding certain aspects of this business, and he was gracious enough to lend his ear and his time to me. For that, I’m fortunate as well as grateful.

It seems these days that all you hear about are the negative aspects of the sport when wrestling or wrestlers are the topic of conversation, but I must say that my experience with wrestlers on the Independent scene has been only positive. When doing research about you, a story came up about you attending a boys birthday party. Please tell the readers about how this came about and what were the results?

Well, the young man whose birthday party I was the surprise guest for attends most of AAPW’s area events. His mother asked me days prior to that whether I was available and if I could be a surprise guest for her son’s birthday party because he’s a huge fan of mine. I looked at it as a chance to do something for someone that wasn’t done for me when I was young, so it wasn’t at all a problem for me. I jumped at the opportunity. It’s not everyday that a kid has a wrestler for a birthday party guest! We all had a blast, and the young man and his family and friends attended that night’s event in West Frankfort, IL.

My Girlfriend and I took the 250-mile road trip to Carbondale, IL some time ago to see AAPW and what the promotion had to offer, and really had a good time. The show was very well run, and we look forward to coming back. How would you describe AAPW to a fan that wants to see some wrestling action?

I would describe All-American Pro Wrestling as a very family and fan-friendly wrestling organization that prides itself on providing good, clean entertainment. We do our best to emphasize the term ‘pro wrestling’, and in-ring action is strongly emphasized. I agree with you when you say that anytime pro wrestling is discussed, it’s usually referred to in a negative light. AAPW does it’s best to bring some class and respectability to professional wrestling. We sort of have an old school atmosphere to our events. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having a little pizzazz in independent wrestling, but when it all boils down, it’s spelled w-r-e-s-t-l-i-n-g. We do our best to contribute to that philosophy. We want people to feel at home when attending our events, and we want to be a wrestling promotion they can call their own and be proud of.

With your quick moves you can electrify a crowd, which makes you very popular with the fans. You have won some big matches in AAPW but it seems as if Brandon “Thunderbolt” Walker has been a thorn in your side since nearly the beginning. In West Frankfort, IL in January after beating Chocolate Thunder (who substituted for a missing-in-action Brandon Walker), you made a challenge to “Thunderbolt” Brandon Walker for April 12, 2008 in West Frankfort for a No Countout No Disqualification match, yet once again in Mt Vernon, IL you were taking on Mike Masters when Thunderbolt pushed you off the top rope to allow Masters to take advantage and get the pin. Later in the evening, you decided to get some payback on Walker by heading to ringside, distracting Walker in order for “The All American” J.T. Calhoun to secure a victory in their match. This leads us to April 12th in West Frankfort, IL at the New Beginnings Assembly. Doors open at 6PM with a bell time of 7PM. You will finally have a chance to get a payback win off Thunderbolt. How do you feel going into this?

You’re absolutely correct, Brandon Walker has indeed been a thorn in my side for the longest time now, dating back to August when he cost me the opportunity to become the very first AAPW Heavyweight Champion. There seems to be an underlying bitterness in Brandon. Since returning to Southern Illinois after a lengthy absence (following a stint of being on top in this area for years), Brandon sees that there’s a new crop of young lions on the prowl. I guess he chose me to target. I, being one to never back away from a fight, embraced the competition and after a while it turned personal after a series of back and forth battles. We’ve each got a victory over one another, and on April 12th I plan to settle this score with Brandon once and for all!!!

What goals do you have for yourself in wrestling?

To have fun. Plain and simple. Not too many people in this lifetime can say they lived their dreams, and I am blessed to be able to say that I have. I feel as though I have yet to reach the tip of the iceberg, and I’m going to continue to give it my all and entertain audiences to the best of my abilities. As far as particular goals, I’d like to tour the U.S. & foreign countries in pursuit of pro wrestling experience. WWE is always an option…

“Thunderbolt” Brandon Walker:

Shawn Shultz:

Arrogant, obnoxious, super-talented athlete who I’ve waged war with once… and won!

Diabolical, mysterious and savvy…

Keith Knox:

Hmmm… I feel sorry for Shawn Schultz on April 12th.

“Homicidal” Steven Davis:

One of the toughest competitors I’ve ever stepped into any ring with. I have welts on my back and chest that will last me a lifetime thanks to this guy.

Ax Stevens:

Wily and dangerous. He’s been on a hot streak like none other here in AAPW lately. We’ve battled all over IL, IN, MO and AR, and I consider him to be one of my fiercest rivals. We have a score that has yet to be settled, and one day, we’ll get the chance to close the book on our storied rivalry.

“The All American” JT Calhoun:

For a man his size, it’s astonishing to see someone with that kind of speed, strength and agility. Much props to JT.

Vulcan:

I’ve never had a chance to cross paths with Vulcan, but I’ve worked with him in other companies. From what I’ve seen, it’s all about brute force with Vulcan. His smashmouth style has earned him championships and he’s got a reputation for throwing the rulebook out the window. Let’s just see how he tests his mettle against the competition here in AAPW.

Mike Masters:

As good an athlete as Mike Masters is, I must admit that I’ve lost respect for him. I know wrestling’s all about wins and losses, and as hard as the reality of it may be, I can accept losing to a better competitor. Mike proved in Mt. Vernon, IL back in February that he’s willing to stoop to any level necessary to gain respect. It takes a very respectable individual to steal a cheap victory from me after Brandon Walker interfered… at least in Mike’s eyes it does! I proved to him in Carbondale, IL last month that that deed doesn’t come without a heavy price Believe me, he got his receipt tenfold in the form of him having his shoulders pinned to the mat… one. two, three!

Playboy Paul Rose:

What a character this guy is! He’s another in a long line of wrestlers who’ve tried to take me down and have been proven unsuccessful. I’m still trying to figure out what kind of gall this guy has for coming out in pink feather boas, pink Speedos, and bleach-blond hair.

“The Future” Donavan Ruddick:

He’s making his AAPW return on April 12th, and is looking to destroy any and everyone in his path, I’m quite sure. I’m going to be sure to keep my eye on this individual closely.

“The Serial Thriller” Shane Rich:

A class act in every sense of the term. He’s gone through a lot of trials and tribulations to get to where he is in AAPW, and I commend him for never giving up and never giving in. It’s paid off for him by him winning the AAPW Heavyweight Championship. Don’t let my respect for him lead you to believe that I won’t be chasing him down for that title someday.

Brandon Espinosa:

I’ve been in the ring with this tremendously talented athlete only once, and he emerged the better man that night. If given the opportunity, I’d like to believe that the results would be a bit different… unfortunately for Mr. Espinosa…

J.C. Blade:

One of the hungriest young competitors that we have here in AAPW. He’s looking to make a way for himself. I encourage him to keep up the good work and never lose faith, no matter how rough the competition may be.

In Altamont, IL a new promotion IWA is having a Fund Raiser to benefit the Blue Knights. Their charity is the SAFE Program. What can you tell us about this new promotion?

I can safely say that IWA is going to be an experience like none other. I am looking to carve out a path in IWA just like I have in AAPW and many other promotions that I work for.

It is also scheduled for AAPW to bring hot wrestling action to Chester, IL on May 7, 2008. At this point are there any more dates where we can see Live wire McGuire in action?

Well, I’m booked all the way through June. I am getting booked in advance, and it’s possible that by then I’ll be booked up another few months. I’m going to be all over Illinois and Indiana and I’m working on bookings in Michigan and Ohio, so I encourage any and all to contact me via my Myspace page (www.myspace.com/livewire_mcguire) and inquire.

Any last words for your fans?

I am so eternally grateful for the encouragement and support that you’ve shown me, and I thank you all so much! MWR February 2008 Awards

February 2008 is in the record books, so once again MWR takes a look at Midwest wrestling with monthly awards!

Let’s take a look at the nominees and winners!


February 2008 Wrestler of the Month

Honorable Mention – Michael Strider (CSW), Shorty Biggs (LWA/CSW), Cecil Cerveza (GAW), Evan Gelistico (LWA), Chris Masters (WLW), “Serial Thriller” Shane Rich (AAPW)

Winner – Payday Patterson (CSW)

How can a guy be wrestler of the month and not wrestle a single match? Well, Payday managed to shock Central States Wrestling fans by doing a Pearl Harbor job on both Michael Strider AND Jeremy Wyatt after a brutal barbed wire match on February 2, 2008. He had been inactive for more than a year due to a career ending “Best of 7” series of matches against Michael Strider, during which he was cheered by many CSW fans. Add to this the fact that he somehow managed to recruit Jaysin Strife and CSW fan favorite Tyler Cook, and you can see how giving CSW a huge “F— You” earns him the top spot for the month of February.


February 2008 Tag Team of the Month

Honorable Mention – None

Winner – “Da Bomb” Brian James & Brandon Espinosa (AAPW)

These two make the grade for the month of February by defeating the debuting tag team of Mark Sterling and Darrien Sanders at a big AAPW show. While Sterling and Sanders made their debut as a tag team for AAPW, they are no strangers to the Midwest wrestling scene, and are a very formidable combination. James and Espinosa strengthen their reputation by defeating them in an AAPW ring.

CSW has struggled since last summer to build the type of momentum the promotion had for a very long period of time, but the month of February gave the fans something that they can get behind. Both a very modern Myspace page and official web page have been released, revealing more about the new roster and upcoming events. They put on a solid show on February 2, 2008 that culminated in one of the best Midwest main events of the past year featuring Jeremy Wyatt and Michael Strider. On top of that, CSW has kicked off a very promising angle that could turn the entire promotion upside down with the return of Payday Patterson and the underhanded recruitment of Jaysin Strife and Tyler Cook. There are a few minor things that need to be ironed out with the company, such as the fulfillment of last years silent auction obligations and the free DVDs that are owed to some of the diehard fans that purchased VIP tickets, but the resolving of these issues seems right around the corner!


February 2008 Woman Wrestler of the MonthHonorable Mention – MsChif (LWA)

 

Winner – Miss Natural (WLW)

Another slow month for women’s wrestling, but this month’s award goes to Miss Natural. She retained the WLW title this month by defeating Rebecca Raze, and doesn’t look to be letting go of the title anytime soon!


February 2008 Personality of the Month

Honorable Mention – Joey Eastman (AAW), Brian “Flair” Kelley (MWR), Crimefighter (St. Louis Wrestling Community)

Winner – Todd Countryman (3XW)

Todd Countryman is one of the most prominent figures in 3XWrestling, and not for good reasosn. Alligning himself with the top two wrestlers in the company right now (Gage Octane and Mark Sterling), he is positioned to be a powerful force in Midwest wrestling for quite some time.

MMWA-SICW Recap for January 12, 2008

Heartfelt farewells. Backstabbing betrayals. Controversial refereeing. All of these events encompassed Mid-Missouri Wrestling Associaton-Southern Illinois Championship Wrestling (MMWA-SICW) January 12 show in East Carondelet, which started the year with a bang.

In the main event, Jerome Cody took on Jeremy Lightfoot, with Shaft as the special guest referee. Although a fairly even match up in the beginning, Lightfoot gained the advantage by the five minute mark, and the two competitors traded blows in the corner. While controlling the match, Lightfoot attempted his signature chops, but Shaft prevented him from doing so and forced Lightfoot out of the corner. Lightfoot ended up hitting Cody with a DDT but was unable to capitalize because he had a minor confrontation with Shaft. The match ended swiftly with each man having his shoulders down on the mat when Shaft began the count. However, Shaft only saw Cody raise his arm before the three count, therefore causing Lightfoot to lose the contest. The night ended with Lightfoot calling out Shaft, and when he didn’t come to the ring, Lightfoot went to the back to confront him. To see what develops further, one must venture to East Carondelet, Illinois on February 16.

The previous contest pitted Junior Heavyweight Champion A.J. Williams against one half of the newly crowned tag team champions, Dave Vaughn, in the first title match of the evening. Beginning with an exchange of holds, neither competitor gained a definitive lead over the other. Just after the five minute mark, Williams gained control, scoring a two count on the challenger. Williams then went to the top rope and connected with an elbow drop, but was unable to secure victory, as Vaughn’s foot rested on the bottom rope. In the closing moments, Vaughn prepared for a spear but Williams telegraphed it and leapfrogged over his opponent and landed a super kick on Vaughn for the win at 9:56.

In his final match with MMWA-SICW, Brandon Espinosa took on Saladin in a 20 minute time-limit bout. Espinosa gained the early advantage, aggravating Saladin with a test of strength challenge, but Saladin took over moments later. A fairly even match, with neither competitor gaining the upper hand for an extended length of time, Espinosa controlled the final minutes of his final match. He connected with a boot to the face and then hit his signature move, the mood swing, at the 10:14 mark. After having his hand raised in victory, Espinosa spent his final moments in an MMWA-SICW ring thanking the fans.

After a brief intermission, the MMWA-SICW title was on the line, pitting the champion, Kevin X, against fellow Connection member “Hot Shot” Tommy Knight. Before the bout even began, X asked Knight to lay down for the three count. But Knight, not wanting to let a golden opportunity such go to the wayside, said that he would fight. Though a fairly one-sided match, with X in control for the majority of the time, Knight hit a few key spots. One notable moment for Knight came near the closing stages of the bout when he connected with a flying cross body from the top rope and got a near fall on the champion, proving that he has what it takes to become a champion in the company. Nonetheless, X was able to secure his victory with a powerbomb and the three count at 10:56. Moments after the match had concluded, The Connection turned on X, beating him relentlessly, even going so far as to “pin” him in the middle of the ring, showing their true colors.

Kahyman was in action as well, battling Connection member, Phil E. Blunt with Jerome Cody. In the opening moments, Kahyman had a slight advantage which was quickly overturned by Blunt. By the five minute mark, Kahyman had gained the upper hand but only enough to capture a two count. Soon after the pin, Blunt scored with a powerbomb gaining a decisive advantage. Despite Blunt’s multiple attempts to pin Kahyman in the closing seconds of the ten minute match, the bout ended in a time-limit draw.

The second match of the night was between Moondog Rover and Brewer. Moondog had a clear advantage nearly the entire bout, with Brewer getting in little offense. Filled with typical Moondog shenanigans, Moondog barked at the fans, “peed” on the referee and tried to take the shoe of a fan in the front row. In the end, it was essentially Moondog who prevailed by getting the pin.

In the opening bout, one half of the newly crowned tag team champions, Mr. Bibbs, took on Waco. The action spilled to the outside early on with Waco gaining the advantage by the five minute mark. The first pin attempt came from Bibbs, with Waco getting his shoulder off of the mat at the two count. For the remainder of the match, Waco remained fairly dominate with Bibbs barely gaining an advantage. At the ten minute mark, Waco nailed Bibbs with a DDT and went for the quick pin but only got a two count. Waco then went for another DDT, securing himself the victory at 11:02.
