As Russell continues to capture the hearts and minds of PWP fans, Branden Juarez rages forward with a path of dominance that includes victims like Matty Star, Ryan Slade, Derek Cornell, “Showtime” Bradley Charles & “The Passion” Zac James. Now the two men collide in what is sure to be a memorable contest! Branden Juarez helped bring Russell into professional wrestling, and he has sworn now to remove him from it! Will Russell be another victim of Juarez, or will he enjoy the biggest win of his career and succeed in his very first Pro Wrestling Phoenix Heavyweight Championship match? Round Robin Challenge with the Pro Wrestling Phoenix Tag Team Championship on the line!
As Pro Wrestling Phoenix continues to revolutionize tag team wrestling with one amazing contest after another, we like to bring new ideas to the table for our fans as well as test the limits of our athletes. We present the Round Robin Challenge, a series of 3 matches throughout the night, pitting 3 tag teams against each other. If one team can defeat both of the other teams, they will be the winners of the Challenge! As an added bonus, the PWP Tag Team Championship is on the line throughout the tournament! Grudge Match: “Babyface” Tony Cortez Vs. L-Ray w/ “Manager Supreme” Axel Greece
During last month’s Phoenix Challenge, Tony Cortez had all but eliminated L-Ray, when his manager Axel Greece pulled Cortez out to the floor with him, causing Cortez to be eliminated from the Phoenix Challenge and possibly costing him a title shot. Now with an axe to grind, Cortez looks for revenge against the Greece Pit!
