Mat Fitchett to Receive the Final 2016 MWR Future Star Award at PWCS on June 10th in Alton, Illinois

The 2016 MWR Year in Awards will end with a bang as Mat Fitchett will be presented his 2016 MWR Future Star plaque on the same night that he will face the one and only Darin Corbin. We are so thrilled and excited to have the fans pick for the 2016 MWR favorite ring announcer, Sarah Rose to  represent MWR with our special sponsors Jason and Jackson Cline on a night that is filled with a stacked roster of many of the top talents around the country.

Mat Fitchett or Mathew Grundy, as he is known as in the NWL has been one of the best kept secrets in the Midwest for some time now in both singles and tag team action.

We hope to see you come out to be a part of this historic night in Alton, Illinois on June 10th

It has already been a wild start to the 2017 season, and we are only one stage in! Davey Vega has joined up with Greg Jovi and the Ego Busters in hopes of reaching greater personal success. It seems to have worked out for both sides thus far as Vega held onto the Gateway Heritage Championship and Jovi’s Ego Busters have started 3-0!

Can Vega and Jovi continue their success on June 10th at Stage Two? The Blacklist are pulling out the heavy hitters as Arik Cannon is set to return and face the red hot Danny Adams. Davey Vega will defend the Gateway Heritage Championship against the red hot Chainsaw Viking, Alex Rudolph!

Also in action, the Resurgence look to rebound after a tough 0-3 start as they face the second place Submission Squad! Darin Corbin will go head to head with “The Dirty Rook” Mat Fitchett in a marquee match and much more to be announced!

Harley Race’s 2017 Wrestling Camp Information Aug 28 – Sept 1st

Last month, Hype Gotti came as close as possible to winning the PWP Championship…only to have it pulled out of his grasp – although not without controversy. Hype has demanded a rematch where Pat won’t be able to run – a lumberjack match!! However….Pat has put up all the red tape he could and politicked to have an executive order passed. The match will now be a 2 out of 3 falls match for the PWP Championship. The 3rd fall, if needed, will in fact be the lumberjack match that Hype wants….however Pat will be choosing the stipulations for the first 2 falls, and insists that it won’t even get to the 3rd fall, and that the PWP title will be staying right where it is.

What will Pat have in store for HG? Will we see the lumberjack match preventing Pat from escaping? Could we see Hype Gotti wear the PWP championship for the first time since 2006? 20170520 Cape Championship

Cape Championship Wrestling comes to Scott City’s Lawless Harley-Davidson on May 20 for a St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital benefit.  For a benefit card, this one is stacked.

Brandon Espinosa won the MWR Missouri Heavyweight Championship back from Ace Hawkins on May 13.  He may hold it for only a week, as he takes on the man who originally beat him for the title in January, Barackus.

Also on the card, Brandon Barbwire tries to win back the CCW title that was robbed of him by Hollis Giroux and his manager, Jeff O’Dell.
