Dubi meets the Pro Wrestling Epic fans get to meet WWE Star Eugene, see New PWE Tag champs and catch a free MWR T-shirt from Da Cobra

In an exciting night of wrestling, fans in Mt Pulaski Illinois was able to catch stars of the Midwest go at in an action packed evening. Pro Wrestling Epic’s special guest was none other than the fun loving Eugene. Eugene a former WWE Superstar was at his best as he teamed up with the PWE Champion the Mississippi Madman to take on “The Future” Donovan Ruddick and Mason Beck led by MR. Late Night.

Prior to his match Eugene and the Madman took the time to meet their fans with autographs and pictures. Mt Pulaski Illinois wrestling fan Sandy Wilham was more than happy to have her picture taken with the two PWE stars.

In what many would call an upset, the PWE Tag team titles changed hands when Mephisto and Kurt Styles defeated the team of Aaron Mathews and Jeff Harris collectively known as Dead Sexy. Before the new champs left Mephisto posed with Jacob Hahn at ringside.

We caught up with the new champs who had this to say.

The MWR Wrestler of the night was the high flying and exciting Da Cobra. Prior to his match Da Cobra wore the #1 shirt in the Midwest to the ring and threw in to you Darionne Brown of Decatur Illinois.

Former WWE Star Eugene has the Mississippi Madman’s back at PWE

This past weekend MWR was excited to back at Mt Pulaski Illinois at Pro Wrestling Epic to catch a main event with two of the most charismatic wrestlers in the game today. Former WWE Superstar Eugene was back to the Midwest to team up with the PWE Champion the Mississippi Madman and Mason Beck lead by the evil MR. Late Nite.

Prior to the match we caught up with both Eugene and the Madman.

On Jan 10th Mannix wrestled in a Gauntlet match against 3 men, K.D. McClain, Evan Money before he lost to Dewey “Booger” Dawson and his MECW title. Mannix may have lost the belt but he gained the respect of the MWR awards committee with his gallant effort.

It’s hard to belive that one of the most respected and talked about tag teams in St Louis has not won the tag team of the month at MWR…Till now!! After winning the first ever LWA Tag Team titles the Ego Express followed it up with a  January 3 win against Brandon Espinosa & Mike Sydal (w/ Brandon Aarons) to retain the LWA Tag Team Titles. On January 24 at LWA they defeated Babewatch again to retain the Tag Team Titles; Steven Kennedy pinned Brandon Espinosa after the Fatality. NWA-Presents Dynamo Pro Wrestling returned to Kansas in Ottawa was a success for everyone involved. The touching fundraiser for New Heart for Jimmie Bass was a rousing success. Kansas fans showed that they care for others by showing up in droves (275) to support the cause along with watching some great wrestling. With some of the top young wrestlers to their disposal, expect NWA Dynamo to be a force in the Midwest.

These guys delivered big for AAPW to start the year. Rich and McGuire had the crowed in suspense and disbelief in what they were seeing. A great chess match between two of the young guns on the Midwest. Edmund came very close to going home with the AAPW heavyweight title but on this night Shane Rich was the one who got his hand raised.
