September 26, 2015: MWR introduced its version of the Missouri Heavyweight Championship. One week after that, we crowned a champion.
There were: Ricky Cruz, Brandon Espy Espinosa, Barackus, and Ace Hawkins. Now, Karim Brigante & Miss Monica “The Roman Dynasty” is the State king.
Based on an unprecedented, objective, cross-promotional rating system, the title has turned out to be popular. Ten Missouri promotions have hosted at least one title defense.
For nearly the past year, its holder has been the undisputed Missouri champion. We are happy to continue the succession that began in 1899.

Jack Brisco was one of the top wrestlers ever in the sport. Yesterday would of been his birthday and out of respect to the legend I would like to share with you a special SICW Wrestling Explosion with Drew Abbenhaus that honored the former World Champion with a special interview with the one and only Larry Matysik and matches with Jack Brisco that I am sure that you will love.

”Lights Out” Adrian Surge d. “The Wind Of Destruction” Makaze in a no-DQ lumberjack strap match to win the Heavyweight Title. After a ton of involvement on the part of the lumberjacks, Surge cleared the Agents Of Chaos out of the ring and avoided a chair swing from Makaze. He followed up with the spinebuster to capture the title, ending Makaze’s 328-day reign (11:18)!
