Ron Powers is on a mission, that mission is to repay Flash Flanagan for the brutal attack he did to him. Flanagan attacked Powers while Powers was challenging CWC title holder Ken Kasa. Flanagan lacerated Powers open and Promoter Herb Simmons fired Flanagan. However Powers would not hear of Simmons firing Flanagan. He begged Simmons to let him have another shot at Flash Flanagan on December 14th. Larry Matysik and Simmons agreed to Powers request, so on Saturday December 14th, Powers will attempt to get his evens with Flanagan.
Plus Champion Ken Kasa defends CWC title, a six man tag and other great matches.
Santa will be in the house and it will be camera night. Fans with a paid admission can bring the camera and get the picture with the Wrestler of their choice. (unless wrestler contract states otherwise)

The smoke hasn’t even settled at St Louis Anarchy’s Friday night huge 2013 Yuletide Terror and the Christmas gifts just keep on giving from the land of Anarchy. Two MAJOR matches are signed for March 1st GATEWAY TO ANARCHY super card
First you have the current SLA Champion Gerald James who will defend his title against the Gold Edition winner Kyle O’ Reilly!! He is using his title shot that night and of course it will be two out of three falls. These men met at 2012 Yuletide Terror in a match that O’Rielly won. O’Rielly won a classic this past Friday night by defeating one of the best in the country, Johnny Gargano by submission.
Does he have James’s number? Mark your calendar, get your tickets and be there on March 1st!
Yet, that is not all.
Making their very first debut at SLA Â will be a tag team that many believe to be the most underrated tag team in world today, Matt and Nick Jackson, the Young Bucks. From Japan to the US with top companies like TNA , Chikara, Dragon Gate USA, and ROH they have brought fans to their feet with their electrifying moves.
Throughout the past few years, wrestling fans and the Hooligans opponents such as Zero Gravity, have seen the Cutter Brothers with their hands raised at the end of the match. They will look to ground the Young Bucks at SLA in 2014.
SLA continues to deliver matches that fans have been demanding as the Young Bucks are set to meet Hooligans! Devin and Mason Cutter continue to build their reputation as true tag team excellence. On this night they will be put to the test as the Young Bucks will hope to use their speed to offset the tag team perfection of the Hooligans.
More info as it comes in and be sure to keep up with SLA on their very own facebook page.
Dynamo Pro will be coming to Fenton, Mo. on Saturday, January 4th, when we debut at the Stratford Bar and Grill. Doors open at 6pm with a bell time of 7pm.
Many may remember when we ran an event there as NWA Central States Wrestling.
Ron Powers vs. Flash Flanagan Ironman Ken Kasa vs. Jake Dirden Bull Bronson vs. Ricky Cruz plus Hillbilly Jim
Can Ron Powers, Jake Dirden and Bull Bronson get what they want for Christmas on the SICW card Saturday, Dec. 14 at the East Carondelet Community Center?
For Powers, he plain and simple wants revenge from Flash Flanagan when those two square off in one of three main events on the SICW holiday card. On Nov. 16, Flanagan attacked Powers as Ron tangled with Classic Wrestling Champion Ironman Ken Kasa. Blows from Flash’s kendo stick and a walker Flanagan had stolen split open Powers head into a bloody mess.
And while this grudge has become very intense, the winner between Flanagan and Powers might well be the next challenger for the Classic crown . . .
which could belong to either Kasa OR Jake Dirden after Dec. 14. It’s the red-hot Dirden who is on such a roll that Kasa’s reign as Classic king is in jeopardy when those two meet Dec. 14. Travis Cook, Kasa’s controversial manager, will be hard-pressed to help Kasa devise some strategy to stop Dirden from becoming the champion.
And that leads to 410-pound Bull Bronson, who can become a major force on the title scene if Bull can knock off former Classic champion Ricky Cruz in the third feature Dec. 14. Cruz obviously has proven to be tough and smart, so Bull meets his toughest challenge yet.
A highlight is that WWE star Hillbilly Jim will be on hand for all the action. The last match Jim had on the independent circuit before invading WWE was for SICW. Jim was a popular, exciting character before tearing up his knee and becoming a spokesman for wrestling’s biggest company.
Add to this is the presentation of the Kick Ass Award to promoter Herb Simmons and SICW. Stefene Russell, the culture editor of St. Louis Magazine, will make the presentation for the 52nd City magazine. The honor recognizes a person and/or organization that makes the community a better place to live.
Furthermore, special recognition will be given to Jim Harris, who is retiring as a referee after many years as one of the top officials in the Midwest.
Rounding out the lineup, Waco opposes Gary Jackson. Waco is seeking revenge fior his long-time tag team partner The Big Texan, who was defeated and unmasked by Jackson Nov. 16. Big Jim Hoffarth, for the first time working without a mask as the Big Texan, meets Two-Ton Tony Raze. Daniel Eads clashes with “Mr Unpredictable” Dave Vaughn.
A six-man tag team bout pits Alexander Rudolph, Ax and The Joker against Heath Hatton, Bobby D. and Chas Wesson.
Oh – Santa Claus will be there too.

When Simmons says a card has something for everyone, this obviously is the perfect example.
It has been one month since a new episode of RingSyders has been posted. Â That sucks.
Today, we were to have referee Jim Harris on the show to talk about his memorable experiences in the ring (Jim is retiring in a couple of weeks). Â I wanted to discuss so much, including the big WWE Championship unification match at WWE TLC and the huge independent cards coming up.
So much!
It’s showtime! Â Drew Abbenhaus and I sit down with our microphones and… crackle crackle crackle. Â The sounds of a campfire or a scratchy record are not what you want to hear over the headphones.
The hardware malfunctioned to the point where I couldn’t get it right. Â This isn’t the first time this has happened. Â This also wasn’t the first time I had to cancel on Jim.
You see, I inherited my recording equipment from PartyAnimalRadio, the defunct online station that hosted RingSyders from late 2011 until early 2013. Â It’s iffy, and didn’t exactly come with a manual.
RingSyders is a hobby for Drew and me. Â I don’t want the show to go away, but sometimes I get disillusioned. Â I hate this hardware.
I would never stoop to recording a webcam show with my computer speakers. Â I need a mixer, headphones, and great microphones. Â After all, there is a reason that RingSyders is the official podcast of MissouriWrestlingRevival.com!
I used to do a show on Webster University’s The Galaxy when I went to college there. Â I want to be in that studio again. Â However, the rules have changed and a current student (alumni don’t cut it anymore) must be one of the hosts of the show.
I would love to do RingSyders live online again at Webster. Â The show would still be podcasted and uploaded to MWR of course!
I guess what I’m trying to say is, we need help! Â Ideally, we are looking for a Webster student or other Greater St. Louis person who can get us the hookup. Â Plus, we would love to have a third man on the mic again.
I want this show to be the best it can be. Â This is an two-way, open-door call.
