A Celebration at SICW as Heath Hatton Becomes the Classic Wrestling Champion
Posted by flairwhoooooo on July 30, 2014
A rowdy crowd celebrated the huge moment at SICW as fan favorite Heath Hatton dethrone Travis Cooks Champion “The Iron Man” Ken Kasa for the CWC title. Kasa had been the champion since defeating Ricky Cruz for the title, then he proceeded to defend the belt a record 13 times tying the man that he had defeated for the belt Cruz for that distinction.
Heath Hatton has had a red hot summer and was able to prove that he is truly one of the top stars in the Midwest today.
The hard part for Hatton will be able to retain the title as the SICW locker room will now be on the hunt to be the man to end his hot streak.
MWR would like to congratulate Heath Hatton on his historic accomplishment and we encourage you to purchase your tickets for his first title match and to meet the legend “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff.

Posted by flairwhoooooo on July 14, 2014

Will Heath Hatton be the man to dethrone the SICW Champion Ken Kasa on July 26th? He has his eyes on the prize, but Travis Cook and Kasa has been proven to be tough to beat.
Heath Hatton comments on his title match against Ken Kasa
“In my 5+ years of wrestling I’ve got to do things, amazing things that were completely beyond any of my wildest dreams. I have poured my money, my heart and my soul into this dream. I’ve missed birthdays, missed parties, even weddings to chase this dream. But It’s given me a WWE PPV appearance, tons of television appearances, 4 heavyweight title runs, fans and a cool story to tell my grandkids. July 26th it’s going to give me my biggest payback yet. I get my shot at the SICW Heavyweight title. This is not just another match this time. This match, this shot will mean more to me than almost anything I’ve got to do in this business. That is the gods honest truth. If you have ever thought about watching me this is the time to do it. This is the match I will look back on 15 years from now..doesn’t get any bigger than this.”
SICW title will be on the line Saturday July 26th as the Champion “Ironman” Ken Kasa and his Manager Travis Cook tries to hold off the challenge from the challenger, popular Heath Hatton. Will the year long run for the Champion come to an end. Join us on Saturday July 26th at the East Carondelet Community Center and be apart of all the SICW action. The boiling point is coming on Saturday, January 18th at SICW- Flash Flanagan vs. Ron Powers with special referee Ricky Cruz
Posted by flairwhoooooo on January 9, 2014
Will Ricky Cruz as the special referee help settle the boiling feud between Flash Flanagan and Ron Powers at the SICW card in East Carondelet Saturday, January 18th?
One thing for sure – Cruz has his hands full. Obviously the motivation for promoter Herb Simmons in asking Cruz to be the referee was that Ricky is likely neutral in the issue. Not only has Cruz butted heads with both Powers and Flash, but Cruz is also one of the top contenders for the Classic Wrestling Championship belonging to Ironman Ken Kasa.
Plus, Cruz is crabby about the “politics” of Simmons in how he lines up matches in SICW. Ricky will be under pressure to keep order, though, as Powers and Flanagan have pounded each other with chairs, tables and kendo sticks in recent donnybrooks, one of which left Powers a bloody mess.
Speaking of Kasa, the Classic king enters tag team action January 18th when he and Mr Unpredictable Dave Vaughn (both clients of manager Travis Cook) oppose the exciting duo of high-flying Heath Hatton and explosive Jake Dirden, the MWR Wrestler of the Year. This battle is guaranteed to be a barn-burner!
Adding to the fun January 18 in East Carondelet is the appearance of Luke Williams of Bushwhacker tag team fame in WWE. A colorful character, Luke is as liable to jump into the ring as he is to lick the forehead of the promoter.
The ladies are back in East Carondelet as Angeles Layne meets Lucy Mendez.
Another tag team affair pits Alexandre Rudolph and Mr. Lucky against Gary Jackson and Jim Hoffarth, formerly the Big Texan. It’s interesting the respect that has developed between Jackson and Hoffarth since it was actually Gary who unmasked The Big Texan. But wrestling without the mask seems to have given Hoffarth a real boost.
Others in action January 18th are Daniel Eads, Frankie “The Thumper” Wyatt, Ax, and Chaz Wesson. For tickets call 618-286-4848.
