The MWR Missouri Champion Ace Hawkins will defend his title against Rome Italy’s very own Karim Brigante on March 10th. The event will be at Harley Race’s Night of Champions 3 with legends Race, JJ Dillion, Jimmy Hart, Scott Steiner, Bob Orton Jr, in attendance and many of the top young talent in the country go at it in one of the very biggest nights of the year for 2018.
The Master Of Hairflips” Brandon Aarons vs. “The Wind Of Destruction” Makaze for the Heavyweight Title: I was unclear on whether Makaze was considered a former Dynamo Pro Heavyweight Champion...he was NWA Missouri Champion on the night that the championship was converted into the current Dynamo Title. At that show, he was defeated by K.C. Karrington for the title…and this was his first chance to get back to the top of the promotion. Makaze had recently returned to his rulebreaking ways and that attitude had led to several victories, putting him in position for this opportunity. Aarons had been on a roll with successful title defenses against Dingo, Danny Adams, and Brandon Espinosa and Roy Lewis in a triple threat match, as well as his win over Nick Brubaker at Proving Ground Pro…he was also nearing the one-year mark as champion, as he defeated Mike Outlaw for the belt last November.
I was NOT expecting a title change here, but I had a feeling Aarons was about due for it. Jaden Roller made his way to ringside to confront Aarons over his earlier actions…Aarons was distracted but only momentarily. Aarons rallied and delivered the close-range superkick that won him the title in the first place, but Roller got up on the ring apron to put the bad-mouth on the champion. He claimed that Aarons was jealous of his own hairstyle…them’s fighting words and Aarons took him out with a superkick. However, Makaze was lying in wait…and as the referee’s attention was on Roller, Makaze threw a FIREBALL in Aarons’ face! Makaze quickly covered and the referee turned around to count three in 14:35, crowning Makaze as the new Dynamo Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion!!
This past weekend at the Harley Race Wrestling Arena, Superstar Steve Fender and Brandon Espinosa defeated Kyle Roberts and Warwick Stephans to win the vacated WLW Tag-Team Championships. The new tag team Champions Fender and Espinosa were able to win the belts despite miscommunication between the two at that saw them come to near blows during several key moments of the contact .
If these two can get on the same page, they could very well hold onto these belts for a long time as both of them are two of the top wrestlers during the MWR years. Fender was one half of the first ever WLW Tag Team Champions back in 2001 with Matt Murphy. Since then he has held onto the belt with several partners throughout the years including Ace Steel, Mason Hunter, Mark Sterling, Bao Nguyen and Dangerous Derek just to name a few. Espinosa is no stranger to tag team success with partners Brandon Aarrons, Mike Sydal and Ace Hawkins.

Later in the evening Bob Backlund sat front and center throughout the night to visit the fans and watch all the matches as well as giving his advice to the wrestlers that asked him.
Young CJ Shine is getting better with each match. Getting advice from a legend like Bob Backlund is a wise move for any wrestler, young or old.

Bob Backlund’s nephew Tim inducted him into the Hall of Fame.
Ace Hawkins def. Brandon Espinosa in a no-DQ match to regain the MWR Missouri Title for the second time.
The referee accidentally got superkicked by Espinosa, so he wasn’t available to make the count after Espy caught a suicide dive and turned it into a brainbuster on the floor.
Espinosa tried to set up for a brainbuster onto a set-up chair, but Ace fought out of the move and delivered a somersaulting Ace Crusher onto the chair. Ace hit several big moves in a row, ending with a jumping DDT for the victory (18:20)!
