Belton Speech and Debate Presents New Breed Wrestling! Anthony Bennett from WWE Cruiserweight Classic leads the charge!

On this great night of professional wrestling, you will see local New Breed wrestlers in action, such as Pop-Con Champion Curt Gannon, US Champion Branae, Calvin Aldridge, Jayden Dominic Rose, Kyle King, Mark Sterling and The Iceman!

KCXW: Hawkins meets Giroux at Ararat Event Center, May 11

Fresh off two matches in the same day, Ace Hawkins makes his way to Kansas City Xtreme Wrestling on Saturday, May 11. The Ararat Event Center in Kansas City hosts Hawkins’s eighth Missouri Championship defense.

His opponent is Hollis Giroux, who last had a crack at Ace and the strap in December 2017. Hawkins won that bout with his signature forward somersault cutter.

RCW Christmas Crash 2018 featured an incredible main event full of chaos and excitement as KarimBrigante MonicaPasseri defended the MWR Missouri Championship against 2-time champion Ace Hawkins with wrestling legends “Cowboy” Bob Orton and “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton at ringside. Post match madness featured Miss Monica Passeri and Branae getting into the mix!

Derek Stone Returns to WLW, Captures Championship Title from Jon Webb

We would like to congratulate one of the top wrestlers of his time Derek Stone as he proved last night that he still has it when won the World League Wrestling title from Champion Jon Webb. It was a matter of power and experience vs youth and speed and on this night Stone had the edge to win the title for the fourth time.

Fun fact – The last time Derek Stone won the belt was January 23, 2000 in Lexington, Missouri vs the Luminous Warrior.

Missouri Rankings Update: Jacksyn Crowley’s time is now!

The new Official Missouri Rankings list, good through June, has been calculated and published.  Head over to the MO Rankings page for the latest publication.  To qualify for the Top 10, a wrestler must have the highest ratings with consistent activity (RD ≤ 175).  Rankings are published every two months.

MOVEMENTS & EXPLANATIONS

CAce Hawkins finished off three challengers this period (including rival Brandon Espinosa in a Last Man Standing war), continuing his cumulative longest Missouri title reign in modern history.

#1Jon Webb and #2Mike Outlaw had excellent undefeated performances in the last two months, so they take the spot of the former top dog, #3Brian James. “Da Bomb” James lost the MMWA title to Barackus on March 9.

A new CCW champ was crowned when #4Jacksyn Crowley beat #7Jake Dirden on April 27. As a result, Crowley takes Dirden’s spot in the ranks, and “Dirdey” slips three spaces.

#5Adrian Surge is back! “Lights Out” regained the Dynamo Pro title against Makaze on April 20. Surge switches places with #6Karim Brigante.

#8Steve Fender returns to the list after going 3-0 in March and April.

#9Jason Vaughn and #10R.W. Harty debut on our list. “The Fury” Vaughn’s feud with Derrick King has solidified himself as AHCW king. “The Southeast Missouri Outlaw” Harty has wrestled consistently, and his most recent matches made him eligible.

Makaze and Jack Gamble have seemingly retired; both men drop from the rankings. Gamble left his boots in the ring after a loss to Webb at WLW’s biggest card of the year, and Makaze lost a retirement match.

Jayden Dominic Rose lost his spot in the Top 10 when he lost his WLW Junior Heavyweight crown to Da’Marius Jones on March 9.

Herb Simmons Presents Larry Matysik’s Wife Pat with His Posthumous Award at the CAC in Las Vegas

Tonight I was privileged and honored to be invited to the 54th Anniversary of the Cauliflower Alley Club where my great friend Herb Simmons has the distinguished honor to present Larry Matysik’s Pat wife with the Posthumous Award for his dedication to Professional Wrestling.

Herb delivered an excellent speech inducting Larry and sharing their life together in professional wrestling. I cannot think of a better person to bestow this deserving honor on Larry.

WLW Returns to Troy, Missouri this Saturday Night Jon Webb vs Derek Stone

The next WLW TV Taping is going to be HUGE! The WLW Heavyweight Championship will be defended in the main event as Derek Stone challenges Jon Webb in what is the biggest challenge to Webb’s reign yet!
