Wear the Dress …The Math Magician Defeats the Iceman
Posted by flairwhoooooo on April 1, 2016
The former fan favorite tag team of the Iceman and the Math Magician blew up in the end of 2015 when they failed to find success in New Breed Wrestling. The Iceman brutally attacked his former partner after a loss against The Riegel Twins leading to the Math Magician to challenge the Iceman in a match that he would risk losing his mask if he lost, but if he was to win the Iceman would have to wear a dress.
New Breed Wrestling returned in 2016 with a red hot crowd that came to their feet to see the former MWR Wrestler of the Year, Mike Sydal , the Vintage Kraig Kessaman and Kyle Roberts jump start the night in a triple threat match.
Kessaman and Sydal quickly teamed up on the young Roberts early on, but when it came time to get the win they were at a crossroads and all bets were off, still there are people that like these kind of bets online, and they go to sites as rivalo.com that allow people to do this. Roberts nailed several beautiful drop kicks on both men, but Sydal would pick up the win.
Italy’s finest Karim Brigante with Miss Monica Passeri was tested against the former WWE Superstar Trevor Murdoch in the second match.
The lovely Monica did everything that she could to distract Murdoch giving her man a much needed advantage against one of the most toughest men in the Midwest. Brigante pulled out all the stops hoping to pick up his biggest victories in his America tour, but it would have to wait another day as Murdoch hit his patented bulldog off the top rope and the 1-2-3.
The hottest tag team in the Midwest, the The Riegel Twins (Logan & Sterling) came face to face with one of the top tag teams during the MWR years when where challenged by Steve Fender and Mark Sterling. The Riegel’s are known for their high flying and fearlessness, so it looked as if the team of Fender and Sterling hoped to frustrate the rookies by working the legs and leaning on them often while using the ref to their advantage.
Just when it looked as if the speed of the Riegel’s would win out, a distraction from Fender lead to a roll up from Sterling and a handful a tights as they stole the win.
Just as her man Brigante was put to the fire against Murdoch, Monica Passeri went one on one with the two time MWR Female Wrestler of the Year, Heather Patera.
When Monica was not talking down USA and the fans ringside, she was impressive getting into the head of Patera on the way to a huge upset, thus putting her on the map in the Midwest in the female division.
In a tag team grudge match Ricky Cruz & Marc Godeker delivered a hard hitting bout against Leland Race and Cousin Gator. Back and forth the action went with the final moment coming when Godeker locked in an armbar submission to seal the win for his team.
The fans were loud and hyped all night and as the dress vs, mask match were announced by ring announcer Wendy Morris the fans came unglued. One group of fans were so excited that they planned ahead and brought their own pink tutu that got the crowd chanting wear the pink dress. As with any good promoter, they listen to their fans and NBW Promoter Scott Zie and commissioner Wade Chism went to the fans to get the tutu to add on to the stipulation if in fact, the Iceman would lose.
Â
The action was intense from start to finish as the referee was forced to remind the Iceman continually that he had to win the match before he could unmask him. Outside the ring the Iceman pounded on the Math Magician but back in the ring the place exploded when the Math Magician leveled the Iceman with the F5 for the win.
With fans on their feet and celebrating the Math Magician, Scott Zie and Wade Chism held up the dress for the Iceman to put on.
Â
The Iceman at first refused but Commissioner Wade Chism delivered the message that if he did not honor his contractual agreement that he would be suspended for a whole year. With no other choice the Iceman put on the Math Magician dress, and out of nowhere attempted to take a cheap shot on Chism, the Math Magician super kicked him and added insult to injury by putting on the pink tutu.
The night would end with an important battle royal for a chance to earn a first round bye to the upcoming tournament to crown the first ever New Breed Wrestling Champion. Each competitor threw caution to the wind as old rivals and friendships all clashed and often teamed up. Out of nowhere Steve Fender threw out the last man Ricky Cruz to earn the right to get the edge heading into the tournament that will begin on April 30th in Sedalia, Missouri.
New Breed Wrestling will make its debut on Saturday April 30th at the Liberty Park Convention Hall, doors will open at 6 with a 7 pm bell time!
Tickets are available at Rent A Center of Sedalia and Eldon, and as always will be available at the door on the day of the show.
Tell your friends, tell your family, tell a stranger on the street and we’ll see all of you there!
