The 2014 Bobby Eaton Experience

Posted by flairwhoooooo on September 5, 2014

By Brian Kelley

Good day MWR fans, as you know our website supports wrestling’s top stars today, but we always respect those that paved the way in the great sport called pro wrestling. In 2014, we have been fortunate to have one of the greatest tag team wrestlers of the modern era make his way to several of the promotions in the Midwest. The man that I speak of is none other than Beautiful Bobby Eaton, who not only was one half of the Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey and Stan Lane)and an excellent singles wrestler to boot.

I grew up with wrestling in the 80’s and early 90’s with Eaton involved in some truly exciting matches with the Rock and Roll Express, the Steiner Brothers and a truly classic War Games matches. During his time with World Championship Wrestling, Eaton was an original “Heyman guy” with the Dangerous Alliance along with Rick Rude, Arn Anderson, WCW TV Champion Steve Austin and Larry Zbyszko.

The truth of the matter for this generation of fans he does not get the respect that he deserves due to the fact that he was never a WWE star. Thankfully, I have been told that for $9.99 you can watch some classic Eaton matches from the past to discover that he was as good as many of the stars that are in their Hall of Fame.

Eaton has made his way to the MWR coverage area for World League Wrestling and Global Wrestling Federation in the past month and is slated to be in Fenton, Missouri for Dynamo Pro Wrestling this Saturday Night.

On Saturday September 20th, Eaton will be making his way to Pro Wrestling Phoenix in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Earlier that day, wrestlers will have the opportunity to train with Beautiful Bobby Eaton.

Experienced and aspiring professional wrestlers – here is a huge opportunity for you to learn from an absolute legend of the wrestling business!! Bobby has seen and done it all, and he will be sharing some of that vast knowledge in this seminar, don’t miss your chance!!

Cost of this seminar will be $40. We will be meeting at the Council Bluffs National Guard Armory at 2 PM sharp.

Spots are limited!!

Contact Pro Wrestling Phoenix if you would like to sign up, or if you have any questions.

Wrestlers then will want to make sure they do not miss the opportunity to train at THE  week long camp of the year if you are looking for the opportunity to get your foot in the door to the highly-prestigious Harley Race Wrestling Academy, well then the chance is waiting on you! November 10th through the 14th, the Harley Race Wrestling Camp will be underway! Gedo (New Japan Pro-Wrestling), Ishimori (from Pro-Wrestling NOAH), Dr. Tom Prichard, and Beautiful Bobby Eaton will all be guest trainers for the annual event.

If you think you can benefit from it (and that should be EVERYONE), then go to the WLW webpage at http://www.harleyrace.com/2014Camp.html and sign up!

An update on Harley Race’s Health from the CAC

Posted by flairwhoooooo on August 1, 2014

harley raceFrom CAC Executive Vice President Karl Lauer:

I just talked to Rose and the rumors that Harley Race broke his hip are not true, but he is facing some serious surgery on his spine this next Monday Aug 4th.

X-rays and MRI’s have shown a cyst growth that is pressing against Harley’s spinal cord and it will be removed Monday. The surgery is delicate but not considered life threatening, and it will take 3 to 5 hours. Along with their ease-of-use and portability, JUUL pod packs come in a variety of great tasting flavors. He will be in post-op for 3 to 5 days then in special rehab for 3 to 4 weeks.

Harley welcomes your prayers and thanks his friend for their concern. Please do not call the hospital before next Wednesday. Give him time to feel like talking. To show your support, the best would be to send a card to Harley Race c/o St Joseph Hospital 300 First Capitol Rd St Charles MO 63301.

NOTE: The CAC will post information on our web site that comes direct from Harley or Rose after the surgery.
