Fans shocked at surpise 3XW ending – By Mark Campos

Posted by flairwhoooooo on November 13, 2010

Once again 3XWrestling put on a tremendous show for the fans that came out to the Des Moines Social Club last Friday night. There was high flying action, classic technical wrestling, rowdy fans and a surprise ending nobody in attendance saw coming at “November Knockout 2”

The event started off with a match between Sheik Ayra Daivari and “The American Fury” Jon West. Daivari came out spewing hate against 3XW and America causing the fans to start chants of “U.S.A”. West came out fighting for his country’s honor with fire in his eyes. Along with the standard hip tossing West displayed some new moves that helped get him his first solo win at 3XWrestling!

The second match was a tag team bout featuring “The High Flyers” taking on “American Ground and Air”. Mike Sydal made his return to 3XW teaming up the “Flyers” once again with “The Unbreakable” Zach Thompson. Nate Bash and Ben Sailer of “American Ground and Air” have adopted a new attitude as they degrade small children not to mention winning at all costs. This battle went back and forth and took its toll on Sydal as he may have injured his knee. Thompson tagged in but was distracted as a masked man appeared on the ramp which allowed “American Ground and Air” to double team him and get the pin.

“The Gentlemen’s Club” music hits and out comes the most hated yet powerful group in 3XW history. Lead by the “Commissioner” and evil manager Todd Countryman was Brian Ash, Gage Octane and one half of the Tag Team champions “Delicious” Devin Carter. They announced that the other half of the Tag Team championship, Casanova, was not able to participate in the eight man elimination tag match later that night as he had an “emergency bachelorette party” in Milan to attend. The fourth member of the team for the “Club” would not be known until the main event.

Next up was the Pick Your Opponent match with “The Rebel” Jeremy Wyatt coming out to a heated and vocal crowd. His opponent, picked by Mark Sterling, was the unexpected long overdue Shane Hollister! Hollister is coming back after a serious leg injury and showed that he has not lost a step and can maintain his own against the top wrestlers in the Midwest. This match went back and forth as both men were close to making pinfalls throughout the fight. In the end Wyatt was able to hit his devastating Kansas Tumbleweed on Hollister to get the win. Even after the match Wyatt kept assaulting his fallen opponent until Sterling came out to make the save.

Sterling was ready to fight anybody and told the ref to get his opponent out to the ring. Out came Wyatt’s pick “The Canadian Sex Icon” Ryan Slade to immediately start the match. This bout almost went the distance as Slade showed that he has the potential to match moves with one of the best wrestlers in 3XW. Ultimately the aggressively intensive Mark Sterling was able to hit Slade with a spear to get the one, two, three. “The Rebel” Jeremy Wyatt’s music played as everyone looked toward the ramp to see a masked man again appear through the curtains. Then charging from the crowd a savage Wyatt attacked Sterling from behind! 3XW wrestlers ran from the locker room to break up the brawl but with little success. Finally with the men subdued Sterling took the mic and challenged Wyatt once and for all to see who the best really is with the stipulation for being an IRONMAN match! Wyatt would accept the match but only if it is a NO DIQUALIFICATION IRONMAN match! The crowd went nuts as this one hour match will take place at the 3XWrestling January event.

After a much need intermission to comprehend the insanity of what had transpired already for “November Knockout 2” came a triple threat match. It was Tyler Cook vs. Brady A. Dezire vs. Kurt Wagner. This short fight showed the athletic ability and star power Tyler Cook has as he fought off Dezire and took Wagner out with swift superkick to the jaw enabling the pin.

The next match was for the 3XW Pure Wrestling championship title! Current champ “The Laotian Sensation” Ricky Kwong took on his ex-tag team partner and former Pure Wrestling champ “The Rockstar” Jimmy Rockwell. There was no room for manners as these two were pulling no punches with their extra hard shots. There were rastling, brawling, reversals and countermoves as these two put on a classic match up in what could be called match of the night. Kwong’s manager “Founder of MMA” or “The Laotian Liaison” Chad Mylan once again interfered in the match as he tossed the Pure Wrestling belt to Kwong which he used to hit Rockwell in the head thus giving him the win by DQ. Kwong and Mylan then proceeded to beat on Rockwell with the chain that was once the 3XW Cruiserweight belt. This feud is far from over as Kwong is still the champ and Rockwell will now want revenge more then ever.

The main event of the night was the eight man elimination tag team match. 3XW Heavyweight champ led the team of himself, Sir Bradley Charles and “The Horndogs” who are Maddog McDowell and Krotch to the ring. Then out came “The Gentlemen’s Club”, minus Casanova, and no surprise partner in sight as the bell rang. The first eliminated, to the shock of many, was big Maddog McDowell but only after Carter and Octane put him down with a 3D. Then Krotch got pinned by Brian Ash when he gave him the Devastator. SBC was able to eliminate both Octane and Carter after giving them both TKO’s. But SBC could not handle Ash’s strength and size as he was dealt a vicious powerbomb before losing. It came down to the final two of Rory Fox and Brian Ash with that squirrel of a manager Todd Countryman acting suspicious as he was looking back as if the fourth member was about to be revealed. Fox was able to get the upper hand and with Ash on the mat turned him over into an Iowa Crab! The match looked to be over as long time head Referee Steve Biley was looking for Ash to tap out when all of a sudden Steve Biley attacked Fox from behind! 3XW fans were utterly shocked with confusion as to what just happened. Yes. Head Referee Steve Biley is the surprise member of “The Gentlemen’s Club” and helped Brian Ash get the win as he delivered a Devastator to the helplessly outnumbered champ. At next months show, “Holiday Havoc 2”, Brian Ash will get a shot at Rory Fox’s 3XW Heavyweight title. That’s right 3XW fans their will be another fantastic show in December.

“Holiday Havoc 2” will be held at the Des Moines Social Club on Friday, December 3rd located at 1408 Locust Street in Des Moines, IA. Tickets can be purchased online at 3XWrestling.com or at Cup O’Kryptonite and both Jay’s CD and Hobby locations. Advance presale tickets cost $12 for adults and $6 for kids 10 and under. Ticket will also be sold the night of the show at $15 for adults, $6 for kids 10 and under and kids 3 and under are free. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. with the bell time being 7:30 p.m. Remember kids Skylar Pierce knows who’s been naught or nice!

PWP – LIVE!! – This Saturday -LAST MAN STANDING!

Posted by flairwhoooooo on November 9, 2010

PWP Fans! October saw Tony Cortez retain the PWP Heavyweight Championship in an epic bout with Matty Star, and we saw the break-up of two time PWP Tag Team Championship winners Chris Havius & Donnie Peppercricket, when Peppercricket viciously attacked Havius! We also saw Preston Maxwell choke out Abu Colossus once again! It all comes to a head on November 13th at the Council Bluffs National Guard Armory! Let’s take a look!

*** Main Event
PWP’s First Ever Last Man Standing Match: Abu Colossus Vs. Preston Maxwell

Maxwell has been on a roll in PWP this year, using his Gator Roll Choke to earn victory after victory. That was until Colossus got in his way. After months of mocking him and sneak attacks, Maxwell has to answer the challenge laid out by Colossus, a Last Man Standing match! The loser of the match is the man who cannot reach his feet by the referee’s ten count. These two big men will collide in a match with no rules and it is sure to be one for the ages!

*** PWP Heavyweight Championship
“Babyface” Tony Cortez will be in action, and PWP Management has given him the task of choosing his own challenger for the evening. It will be interesting to see whom the Icon of PWP chooses!

*** PWP Tag Team Championship
Zac James & Ryan Slade, along with Axel Greece at ringside have proven that they are not a flash in the pan and have what it takes to be Tag Team Champions. They will be defending the titles on November 13th, a challenging team will be decided upon in the near future!

*** Matty Star Vs. Jayden Draigo
This is a HUGE match pitting one of PWP’s most beloved stars against one of it’s most hated! Star just barely came up short against Tony Cortez last month and Draigo is still looking for another chance. Both men have something to prove!

*** “Rock N Roll” Mike Sydal Vs. “The Rebel” Jeremy Wyatt
PWP has signed this match and we are very excited about it! The brother of WWE’s Evan Bourne will be taking on “The Rebel”, whose reputation precedes him. Word is both men are looking to move into the title picture and this match could have huge ramifications on that!

Also appearing:
* #1 Brett Young returns to the PWP ring
* Supafli also makes return after a month away from PWP
* Sir Bradley Charles will no doubt be looking to continue his winning streak
* David Clark will be competing
* Jimmy Rockwell will be in the house
* Joey Daniels will be looking to pick up another win
* Zach Thompson, although putting in a losing effort last month, impressed PWP Management and will be on the card
* Brian Gott & Derek Cornell, The Beautiful Bodies, will be in action

All this and more! Be there November 13th for LIVE PWP ACTION!!!

Kevin lined him up for another superkick, but Sterling avoided it and blatantly bashed the referee with a forearm to the face to get disqualified and save his title. Sterling rubbed it in Kevin’s face after the match…only to get planted with a Pavement Drop(Flatliner)!
