Our first match announced for our next event – WLW returns to Richmond! TV Taping/Fundraiser!
Newly-crowned WLW Heavyweight Champion Derek Stone will defend his championship against 1/2 of the WLW Tag-Team Champions Rex “A Wrestler for the People”!
Could REX be the first WLW Superstar to ever hold 2 championships at one time or will Derek Stone retain?

We would like to congratulate one of the top wrestlers of his time Derek Stone as he proved last night that he still has it when won the World League Wrestling title from Champion Jon Webb. It was a matter of power and experience vs youth and speed and on this night Stone had the edge to win the title for the fourth time.
Fun fact – The last time Derek Stone won the belt was January 23, 2000 in Lexington, Missouri vs the Luminous Warrior.

We would like for the fans of MWR to take the time to support Pro Wrestler and Artist Adam Raw‘s (Sam Richardson) wonderful graphic novels Hafu 1 and Hafu 2. Both stories contain awesome artwork from the former LWA/ SLA, Metro Pro and SICW star Adam Raw. While the story explodes off the pages in art form from Raw, the storytelling delivers an epic tale from Writer and Military Veteran Jordan Taylor.
Hafu is the story of a girl who must deal with the stresses of growing up with no mother, an almost-absentee father, and the struggle of growing up in Japan being bullied because of her mixed ethnicity.
When Akiko finds out the dark secret her father is hiding, her life is changed forever. The world of Ninja meets the world of Mobsters in our graphic novel, Hafu.

**WLW Heavyweight Championship Title Announcement**
Fresh off the heels of his win this past Saturday in the over-the-top-rope Battle Royal, Derek Stone will challenge WLW Heavyweight Champion Jon Webb one-on-one and the prestigious championship will be on the line!
Comments from both wrestlers will be made in the near future and tickets for this event will go on sale Wednesday! More matches will be announced as well as an update on TV Tapings held at the Race Wrestling Arena!

The Big Guy Ryback was a true treat to the fans and was happy to see Harley Race.

-”The Attraction” Austin Cravens d. Gil Rogers after a fireman’s-carry slam (9:23).
-Lucy Mendez d. Stacey O’Brien with a jackknife cradle to win the Women’s Title (10:37).
–The People’s Tag Team(Kyle Roberts & “The Wrestler For The People” Rex Fults) d. Alpha Omega(Camaro Jackson & Kenny Alfonso) to retain the Tag Team Titles; Rex superplexed Alfonso and Roberts got the pin after the frog splash (12:57).

This Saturday, WLW hosts Fundraiser at Triad High School! The first match to be announced is the following:
New World League Wrestling Jr. Heavyweight Champion Da’Marius Jones 2.0. will take on Austin Cravens in singles competition!
To add to that – a #NightofChampions4 rematch has just been announced!
Alpha Omega will get a rematch for the World League Wrestling Tag-Team Championships as they challenge Kyle Roberts and Rex “A Wrestler for the People”! Both teams went at it tooth and nail on Saturday night, which means they’ll do it again on this Saturday night in a match you don’t want to miss!
