*** Main Event STREET FIGHT: Matty Star Vs. “Showtime” Bradley Charles
These two men have hated each other ever since February 2012 when SBC first cashed in his Anytime Anywhere Contract to beat Matty Star for his first PWP Heavyweight Championship. They have been through it all over the last two years and NOW IS THE TIME to finally settle it! Everything is on the line in this one: pride, respect, and the winner will be poised for a championship title shot. PWP has a history of incredible street fights and this one is sure to be no different! Be there to see history in the making at Pro Wrestling Phoenix!
*** PWP Heavyweight Championship: Branden Juarez defends against “Simply Ravishing” Ryan Slade
Ryan Slade is no stranger to the PWP Heavyweight Championship, but he has had a change of heart and mind since the last time he held the title. Juarez has been successful in title scenarios since winning it in January. This is a clash of two of Pro Wrestling Phoenix’s most dangerous men, and it’s sure to be unforgettable! Can Slade walk out of the National Guard Armory on April 12th a two time PWP Heavyweight Champion? Or will Juarez continue to find a way to hold onto the title he covets so much?
*** Handicap Match: Darren “Thunder” Russell Vs. “The Greece Pit” L-Ray & Joey Daniels w/ “Manager Supreme” Axel Greece
Axel Greece and his Greece Pit continue to antagonize Darren “Thunder” Russell month in and month out. Now Russell is to the point of challenging both men at once! Some question his sanity, but Russell might have more heart than anyone else on the PWP roster, and with the fans in his corner, he just might have what it takes to defeat the Greece Pit and end this once and for all! However, with Axel Greece at ringside, he needs to watch his back!
*** Pro Wrestling Phoenix Tag Team Championship:
Hype Gotti & Abu Colossus defend against Jeremy Wyatt & Mark Sterling
Last month Abu & Hype challenged ANY tag team in the Midwest to a match with their titles on the line. That challenge was shockingly answered by Jeremy Wyatt & Mark Sterling, two men who haven’t been in a Pro Wrestling Phoenix ring in over 4 years! Both men have had huge success in Pro Wrestling Phoenix in the past, and since then, have found success all over the Midwest, proving left and right that they are two of the most talented wrestlers around. On April 12th, they return to Pro Wrestling Phoenix to face Hype Gotti & Abu Colossus, two men who have defeated any team standing in their path. Be there to see what will certainly be an epic contest!
*** Grudge Match: “Omaha Chainsaw” Stephen King Vs. Derek Cornell
These two men faced off in February, and King claims Cornell’s win was a fluke. Last month King challenged Cornell to a rematch, and then proceeded to make an example out of his opponent for the evening. Cornell made the save before any damage was done. Cornell stands for honor and respect. King stands for… well, something else! He is an enigma, and that can be very dangerous. On April 12th, it’s Round 2 of Cornell/King!
