Hello my friends, I want to thank everyone that has purchased the MWR Yearbook. This year book is the 3RD in which I was the main editor for doing the format and publishing (the first was my good friend Matt Murphy.)
I am really proud of the final product of this book. But due to the fact that I was in need of funding to keep covering shows this past couple of months (as I also wanted to make the CAC for the first time) I asked my friend David to have it back to me in a week.. Amazingly, he caught a ton of errors and done a awesome job for the very little time I allotted him.
While looking at it this week, I noticed a few other mistakes in spelling, and would like to offer you a chance to win a FREE MWR T-shirt by finding the most mistakes in the book and count them on this link. The winner of the Bruiser Brody Memorial on Saturday, May 16th will be awarded this beautiful trophy. Promoter Herb Simmons stated this is the event of the year. Not only will there be the Brody Memorial, SICW will celebrate the 56th year anniversary of the debut of Wrestling at the Chase, which started in May of 1959. Also, there will be a Question-and-Answer session before the huge wrestling event. Barbara Goodish, Stan Hansen, Larry Matysik and from the days of the AWA Mick Karch and others will present. One price ticket will get you into the Q&A and to the wrestling event. There will also be a big screen playing videos throughout the evening.
