20190928 Cape Championship

Cape Championship Wrestling is bringing a real treat of a card to Charleston High School in Charleston, Mo. on Saturday, September 28.

This web site’s favorite attraction will be Farmer Billy Hills’s first defense of the MWR State title, as he takes on the winner of a battle royal, to be held earlier in the night.

Every company title will be defended. Fans will have a say in determining stipulations and/or participants in nearly every contest.

World League Wrestling Comes to Burlington Junction, MO on Oct 19 Trevor Murdoch

It is now official! The #HarleyRace Memorial Wrestling Event WILL be taking place on October 19th! Tickets will be on sale Friday afternoon at the following locations:
Goff HOME Grocery, Burlington Junction Maryville Floristsand online at www.harleyrace.com

Ticket Prices are as follows:
If purchased in advance – General Admission – $10, Ringside – $15
If purchased at the door – General Admission – $12, Ringside – $17
The event will be held at the West Nodaway High School Gymnasium. Doors will open at 6 PM and Bell Time is at 7 PM. The address to the school is 17665 Hwy 136 in Burlington Junction, MO.
Former WWE Tag-Team Champion Trevor Murdoch will be at the event to sign autographs and take pictures with the fans. There will be 5 matches taking place that evening. Concessions will be available at the event.
This event is extremely special to us, and we hope to bring a crowd like no other to the West Nodaway High School Gymnasium.

-Riot On The River Tournament: “The Caramel Bear” C.J. Shine d. Ezra Zealous(replacing The Snitch who withdrew from the tourney) after the TKO (9:22).

-Riot On The River Tournament: “Mr. Extraordinary” Benjamin Trust d. Outtkast via small package (8:48).
-Riot On The River Tournament: Heavyweight Champion “Lights Out” Adrian Surge d. “The Heartthrob” Jaden Roller(non-title) with the spinebuster (9:14).

-Riot On The River Tournament: Mike Outlaw d. “The” Ace Hawkins after the High Noon(top-rope elbowdrop) (12:58).

-Riot On The River Tournament: “Mr. Extraordinary” Benjamin Trust d. “The Caramel Bear” C.J. Shine after taking him down from the second rope with the fireman’s-carry slam (6:59).

-Riot On The River Tournament: Mike Outlaw d. Heavyweight Champion “Lights Out” Adrian Surge with a small package (2:16 plus several minutes of brawling outside the ring before the bell).

-Tag Team Champion Tony Esteem d. Camaro Jackson after a mule kick behind the referee’s back, followed by the headlock driver (5:35).

-The Unlikely Heroes(Jackal & “Mr. Mustache” Ricky Rodriguez) d. The Agents Of Chaos(“Big Vik” Viktor Von Stein & Xavier Shadowz); Vik missed a Legdrop O’ Doom and Jackal got the pin with a jackknife cradle and unseen assist by Rodriguez (8:05). After the match, Big Vik snapped and avalanched referee Luke Roberts in the corner.

-Riot On The River Tournament: “Mr. Extraordinary” Benjamin Trust d. Mike Outlaw via grapevine anklelock to win the tournament (10:05). Trust dedicated the win to his expecting wife at home and his family in attendance.

Missouri Rankings Update: Farmer Hills is king, Barackus enters fray

SEE THE RANKINGS

The new Official Missouri Rankings list, good through October, has been calculated and published.  Head over to the MO Rankings page for the latest publication.  To qualify for the Top 10, a wrestler must have the highest ratings with consistent activity (RD ≤ 175).  Rankings are published every two months.

MOVEMENTS & EXPLANATIONS

A new State champion has been crowned! CFarmer Billy Hills (ranked #13 at the time) finally put away his rival Hollis Giroux at CCW Caged Chaos on August 24.

The steel cage match was punctuated by a powerslam, that led to Hills winning the MWR Missouri laurels, the eighth competitor to win this particular belt. Hills lifted the CCW Pure Openweight title as well.

#2Derek Stone leapfrogs two spaces over #3Adrian Surge and #4Jacksyn Crowley, after Dynamo Pro champ Surge lost a non-title bout to long-absent Lockie. Jacksyn Crowley lost the CCW title to his brother, Otis Crowley.

#8Barackus is streaking, with wins in Cape and South Broadway. The “Monster” has had a fire lit since losing the MMWA title in March.

#9Steve Fender defeated Curt Gannon to knock the latter out of the Top 10 and replace him.

#10Ace Hawkins rounds out the list, thanks to Karim Brigante’s return to Italy.
