On May 9th, 2015 in Granite City, IL PWCS will bring the fans of St. Louis area wrestling a match that, up until our last event, we would have never even imagined.

Over the past ten plus years, the “Ego Express” tag team of Steven Kennedy and KC Karrington have been a staple of pro wrestling in the Midwest. They’ve won titles all across the region and been a top tag team for companies such as GCW, Dynamo Pro, LWA, CSW, and more. Love them or hate them, they where a successful team with a strong, sibling like bond.

That is, until March 14th, 2015. PWCS Stage One for the 2015 season.

KC Karrington made a shocking return to pro wrestling ,ending a two year hiatus from the ring. He announced that he was new owner of the former Team Anarchy, now Chaos Nation, and he was going to destroy the very fabric and foundation of PWCS.

Even more shocking, in doing so, he assaulted his best friend and tag team partner Steven Kennedy. He piledrove Kennedy into the mat and assaulted him with a steel chair.

So on Saturday night, May 9th in Granite CIty, IL a decade of friendship gives way to a new era of hatred as KC Karrington goes one-on-one for the FIRST TIME EVER with Steven Kennedy!

SICW Promoter Herb Simmons has announced that the Board of the St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame has announced the 2015 inductees.

Bill Apter – Sportswriter

Ken Patera, Wrestler

Joe Tangaro – Wrestler

Ed Smith –  Wrestler/Referee

All four of these inductees have greatly contributed to professional wrestling in the Saint Louis metro area.

Bill Apter, through his coverage and articles on many of the legends.

Ken Patera, two-time Missouri Champion, a weightlifting champion, is a great choice for the Hall of Fame.

Joe Tangaro wrestled in St. Louis area and later refereed.

Ed Smith, a wrestler for many years, later a referee, and then did play-by-play with MMWA-SICW.  Smith paved the way for his son, Keith, to follow in the business as well as his grandson, Keith Smith Jr., who is now a wrestler as well.

It is with honor that the St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame Board induct these men into the 2015 Class of the Hall of Fame at the South Broadway Athletic Club.

There will be information to follow on the induction ceremonies for each of these inductees.

The feud between Chainsaw King & Darren “Thunder” Russell escalated extremely fast, and the hatred these men have for each there has been fostering for months now. Two young competitors who have had very different paths in the professional wrestling industry accelerate to a head on collision April 25th. Last month King chained and handcuffed Thunder to the ring ropes, rendering him unable to answer the 10 count of their Last Man Standing Match, giving King the win. Now, Russell has had enough, and there is nowhere to hide for either man, as they will be chained together like unruly beasts with dog collars, connected by a dangerous length of chain! Don’t miss this revenge fueled clash on April 25th!

PWP HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:
Abu Colossus Vs. “Babyface” Tony Cortez

Tony Cortez missed out on his chance to defeat Abu Colossus in March when Abu had to unfortunately cancel at the last minute and miss the event. Now, these two ICONS of PWP go head to head one more time. However, there is a catch. Colossus agreed to defend the title, but he said that if he wins, he will NEVER give Cortez another shot at the title. Cortez agreed, so it’s do or die time for Babyface! Can he pull out the victory and become a 3 time PWP Heavyweight Champion, or will he be Abu’s next victim? It all goes down April 25th!

PWP RISING PHOENIX CHAMPIONSHIP FIRST ROUND MATCH:
Joey Daniels w/ “Manager Supreme” Axel Greece Vs. “Simply Ravishing” Ryan Slade

This match was supposed to take place April 25th, however when Ryan Slade’s music hit he was nowhere to be found. Axel Greece claimed the Greece Pit took him out and was furious when PWP officials made the decision to postpone this match instead of giving Joey Daniels a bye in the tournament. Slade has informed PWP officials that he WILL be in attendance April 25th, and he’s had enough of the Greece Pit! Can Slade advance in the tournament and become the first ever Rising Phoenix Champion (not to mention the first ever PWP Triple Crown Champion)? Or will the Greece Pit continue their dominance of this tournament? Be there April 25th to find out!

PWP RISING PHOENIX CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINAL MATCH:
“The Passion” Zac James Vs. L-Ray w/ “Manager Supreme” Axel Greece

Zac James defeated former PWP Heavyweight Champion Branden Juarez decisively in the first round of this tournament, but after the match, The Greece Pit were ringside to attack Zac, as they did others throughout the night in March. Zac would have none of it, and in a passionate speech, let the Greece Pit know how he feels about them! The Passion lived true to his nickname that night, but can he take on the numbers game that the Greece Pit so often uses to their advantage? Or will L-Ray advance for his first chance at a Championship in PWP? Find out April 25th!

PWP RISING PHOENIX CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINAL MATCH:
“Showtime” Bradley Charles Vs. Winner of First Round Match

Thanks to the Greece Pit, “Showtime” Bradley Charles defeated Dalton Lee Roth in record time last month to advance to the semi finals of the tournament. However, he shouldn’t take it lightly, because the Greece Pit made it clear they want this Championship, and will go through anyone to get it. On the other hand, if Ryan Slade wins the first round match, he will have to defeat SBC in the semi finals to advance to the finals on May 23rd. This exciting tournament continues on April 25th, be there!
