St. Louis Anarchy Welcomes Former TNA X-Division Champion DJZ to Anarchy on 11/13 and 11/14

Posted by flairwhoooooo on July 23, 2015

From the office of St. Louis Anarchy

All our focus is on Circus Maximus however we did make our next events public and we have signed a huge debut and I do not feel like making you guys wait until after Circus Maximus to find this stuff out.

So on Nov. 13th and 14th we will welcome former TNA X-Division champion DJZ to Anarchy.

DJZ even before TNA made a impact in wrestling by traveling all over the world at a very young age making a name for himself. He is a amazing hold for hold pro wrestler who went from the indy scent to TNA wrestling winning their X Division title.

We will announce his opponents as we get closer to the events. I will however let this be known. At Stage One he will wrestle a established Anarchy main stay and at Stage Two he will wrestle a prospect that I choose. Much like DJZ made a impact at a young age I will give a young man a shot to do the same.

It is my goal in Anarchy to give you a mix of guys who are the best pro wrestlers in the world right now mixed in with some guys who are on the brink of greatness with guys who 5 years from now will be with the best in the world…

I feel we have that with our roster…. Not that Ive went into a mini rant make sure to spread the word of Circus Maximus Aug. 8/21 and 8/22 and 11/13 and 11/14!!

The St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame showcases talents that flourished during the days of (and prior to) the St. Louis Wrestling Club. The Hall features 33 legends including: Lou Thesz, Ric Flair, Harley Race, Bill Longson, Bruiser Brody, Penny Banner, and Sam Muchnick.

The 2015 inductees are: Ken Patera, Joe Tangaro, Eddie Smith, and Bill Apter. The first two, Patera and Tangaro, were honored at the historic South Broadway Athletic Club on July 11th.

Former NWA Missouri Champion and Olympic strongman Ken Patera was in attendance for his induction. On April 25th, 1980, Patera defeated Kevin Von Erich for the NWA Missouri Heavyweight Championship and lost the title to Ted DiBiase on November 21. He dethroned Jack Brisco to regain the belt on October 23, 1981. Patera would go on to wrestle for the AWA and the WWF in the 80’s.

Joe Tangaro was also honored July 11th at South Broadway. Tangaro was a wrestler, referee, and restaurant manager who won the hearts of fans in Saint Louis. He passed away in 1997 at age 70 after suffering from ALS. He was the president of the local chapter of ALS research and helped to raise thousands of dollars to battle the disease locally and nationally.

The Hall of Fame was founded in 2007 by legendary Saint Louis announcer Larry Matysik, promoter Herb Simmons, promoter Tony Casta, sports journalist Keith Schildroth, and longtime fan Nick Ridenour. All except Schildroth remain on the Board.

The inductions are split for two dates. Eddie Smith and Bill Apter are to be formally inducted at an SICW event in October.

Loser leaves PWP Jeremy Wyatt vs Hype Gotti in Council Bluffs, Iowa July 31

Posted by flairwhoooooo on July 18, 2015

 photo 11745544_972987639410644_9168051616856085504_n_zpsgoqh7flr.jpg

PWP fans, on Friday July 31st we return to the National Guard Armory in Council Bluffs Iowa… and the stakes have never been higher!!

LOSER LEAVES PWP
Jeremy Wyatt Vs. Hype Gotti

After an amazing main event in May that saw Simply the Best win the PWP Tag Team Championship from Jeremy Wyatt & Mark Sterling, Wyatt challenged long time rival Hype Gotti to a Loser Leaves PWP match!! Wyatt wants Hype Gotti gone for good, and made the challenge. Hype Gotti is known as a gambling man, willing to take risks when it comes to glory in the ring. Both men hold victories over each other in the past, there is no way to tell who is going to win this one, the only thing for sure is that one of these men will be leaving PWP forever!

PWP Championship
“Babyface” Tony Cortez Vs. Joey Daniels w/ “Manager Supreme” Axel Greece

Axel Greece continues to secure major opportunities for his men, and now The Greece Pit has a chance to add another title to their stable, not just another title, but the PWP Championship!! Joey Daniels has had an impressive year thus far, taking former WWE star Scotty 2 Hotty to the limit in May – he now has the chance to capture the most coveted prize in PWP! “Babyface” Tony Cortez is not one to be taken lightly though. Cortez is a 3 time PWP Champion, as well as one half of the current PWP Tag Team Champions. Cortez has never been afraid of an uphill battle, however will the numbers game of The Greece Pit simply be too much? Be there July 31st to find out!

Tag Team Match
Abu Colossus & Branden Juarez Vs. Darren “Thunder” Russell & ???

Last month, Darren “Thunder” Russell defeated the man who robbed him of the PWP Championship earlier this year, Abu Colossus. As Russell was exiting after his huge win, his old rival Branden Juarez, who had been hiding under the ring, emerged and attacked Russell. This led to a brutal beatdown on Russell by both Juarez & Colossus – who seem to have formed some kind of alliance. Darren looks for revenge on July 31st in a tag team bout, however who will Darren find to watch his back?

PWP Rising Phoenix Championship
L-Ray w/ “Manager Supreme” Axel Greece Vs. “The Passion” Zac James

Zac James earned a shot at the Rising Phoenix Championship last month, however, as usual – The Greece Pit used underhanded tactics to hold on to the title. Zac James requested a rematch, and that request was granted! Zac will need to have his guard up more than ever if he wants to win the Rising Phoenix Championship, however he says he is more than ready, and will come out on top! Be there on 7/31 to see how it goes down!

Also in action on July 31st!:

* Mark Sterling
* Pat Powers
* ”The Karaoke King” Purple
* Dalton Lee Roth
* Plus more!

Friday July 31st 2015

National Guard Armory
2415 E Kanesville Blvd
Council Bluffs, Iowa 51503

Doors at 6:30 PM, Bell Time 7:00 PM

Tickets just $10
Available via Paypal at http://www.PWPlive.net – in person at CD Tradepost at 84th & Giles in Omaha – or at the door the day of!
