MAGNUM Pro 04.29.11

Posted by flairwhoooooo on April 23, 2011

Here are the First Round Matches for The First Ever Battle Royale Cup:

David Clark vs Derek Cornell

These two fighters are being pitted against one another for the soul purpose of seeing who can dethrone the other one. David Clark has been the man to beat at MAGNUM Pro as of late as he strives and fights to break out of the shadow from which his sensei has cast over him. Derek Cornell on the other hand has done nothing but his best to make the man that has taught him the ways of pro wrestling proud. The battle ground is set for these two men to collide in the opening round of the first ever Battle Royale Cup tournament.

“The Anarchist” Arik Cannon vs “Dangerous J” Jaysin Strife

Arik Cannon and Jaysin Strife have met on the battlefield of professional wrestling on many occasions. Whether it be somewhere in Iowa, or even Minnesota, these two put everything they have into their encounters whenever they meet. In the opening round of the Battle Royale Cup I am sure these two men will not disappoint, and I can assure you that when these to beasts lock horns that the crowd will be nothing less than in awe at the fight these two competitors bring to the table.

Akira Tozawa vs Supafli

Akira Tozawa is the man from the land of the rising sun, and many are saying that he will be the guy to beat in this tournament. Having come from Japan and the Dragon Gate dojo his resume speaks for itself. However, upon arriving in America, Tozawa has elevated his stock ten fold with the performances he has been apart of throughout the country. After making an impact in the So Cal branch of MAGNUM Pro, he felt it was time to make one here in Iowa. So on 4/29, it has been chosen that the young gun Supafli gets his opportunity to come into his own when he faces the international star in Akira Tozawa.

Zack Sabre Jr. vs Brian Gott

Submission specialist Zack Sabre Jr comes all the way from Europe to make an impact in America. While here on an excursion Zack was chosen to participate in the Cup due his ability, and the long list of opponents he has felled. However, he shouldn’t count his chickens before they hatch because he will be in the ring with a fighter in his own right, Brian Gott. Although coming up on the short of the stick the last two MAGNUM Pro shows, he has showed heart and determination to better himself and bring an even bigger fight to the ring with him. MAGNUM offices has noticed this vast improvement in Gott and that is why he was chosen to to test another international star in Zack Sabre Jr.

6 Man Tag Match

Also on the card for the night will be a 6 man tag match when “Babyface” Tony Cortez, “The Big Hurt” Abu Colossus, and Texas’s own Rexx Reed step into the ring with Darin Corbin, Christian Rose, and Matt Cage. None of these men have teamed before, but all them are hungry and will do whatever it takes to get the W for himself and his team.

Please join us the BIGGEST MAGNUM Pro show to date on 04.29.11!

Her mass is in her abdomen and is about the size of a grapefruit. It has also affected 90% of Katie’s bone marrow. She has been through 8 rounds of chemotherapy and 2 stem cell transplants. Her first stem cell transplant was done on January 4, 2011. Her 2nd one was done Tuesday March 8, 2011. 6 weeks after she is discharged from this transplant, she will be starting high dose radiation treatments, and after that immunotherapy. Her mass in her abdomen has not gotten any smaller through her chemo treatments. They are unable to remove it until it shrinks because it is too close to main arteries and organs. Good news is it hasn’t gotten any bigger.

Katie is a very strong little girl with a lot of fight in her. She knows she’s sick and is fighting to get better.

She has a website where you can follow all of her progress. Please take a look.

MWR Trading Card #45 B.G. James

Posted by flairwhoooooo on April 18, 2011

Photobucket

Missouri Wrestling Revival is very excited to have the one and only “Road Dogg” BG James as a part of the MWR Trading Card series. The son of 2011 WWE Hall of Fame inductee “Bullet” Bob Armstrong and brothers to fellow wrestlers Brad, Scott and Steve, James will go down in history as one of the most entertaining wrestlers to ever set foot in the ring.

James was instrumental in bringing back WWE from the dire straights in the late 80’s in a war with rival WCW. With fellow stars “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, the Rock and Mick Foley and  James’s  faction of Degeneration X wrestling was cool once again.  .

Degeneration X members included Shawn Michaels, Triple –H, X-Pac, Chyna, Rick Rude and James tag team partner Billy Gunn.

Together James and Gunn was the New Age Outlaws!!

The two would go on to win 5 WWE Tag Team Championships Four of their victories came over teams that included Mick Foley with four different partners (Kane, Terry Funk, the Rock, and Al Snow). They hold the fourth longest reign in WWE Tag Team history with 468 days.
James is also a former WWE Intercontiental and Hardore Champion before he went on to compete at TNA Wrestling to win 2 NWA Tag Team Championships with Ron Killings and Konann.

Though he would be able to hold onto gold several times, it is his charisma that is matched by very few that has made him a World wide star.

We are proud to announce that BG James is number #47 in the MWR Trading Card set.

The artwork of B.G James from the hottest comic in the Midwest, The Promotion. The promotion is drawn from none other than Rob Schamberger.

Please support Rob and his hard work by purchasing a copy of his comic for only .50 cents here.
