MWR fans have been stocking up on the MWR Scarlett Bordeaux #85 trading card. Now they can see one of wrestling’s brightest stars on WGN TV Rock girl Model search and an added bonus for all you just for watching , find out what is her turn her on?
For the past 40 years Kevin Sullivan has been a mainstay in the wrestling business. Considered by many that he is one of the greatest minds the sport has ever known.
Early on in his career, Sullivan came to Central States Wrestling where he teamed with Ken Lucas to capture the tag team titles from Bob Brown & Alexis Smirnoff in Kansas City in 1978 .In Florida, Sullivan would capture the NWA Florida Championship by defeating Barry Windham in tournament final in 1983
Yet the best was to come for the demented Sullivan would become the leader in the faction known as the Varsity Club, an elite group of amateur wrestlers that included wrestling machines such as Mike Rotunda ,Rick Steiner and “Dr. Death” Steve Williams.
The group would have memorable feuds with Dusty Rhodes, the Road Warriors, Eddie Gilbert and later on would add Dan Spivey in the group as they turned on Rick Steiner.
Sullivan would enter ECW early in their existence to capture the ECW Tag Team Championship with Taz with his Valet the beautiful and mysterious Women. During his time with ECW, Sullivan and the monster Abdullah the Butcher battled against each other in a very bloody feud.
With WCW on the verge of becoming a powerhouse in the 90’s fans got to see Sullivan lead a new faction, this time aptly named the Dungeon of Doom. The mission was to destroy Hulk mania once and for all. The fearsome group would include Kamala, The Barbarian, Meng, The Yeti, Hugh Morrus, Loch Ness, One Man Gang, Big Bubba Rogers, and The Giant. Sullivan also brought in his former 3 Faces of Fear stalemates, with Avalanchewrestling as The Sharkand The Butcher wrestling as The Zodiac.
Sullivan is certainly known as “The Taskmaster” of the group the Dungeon of Doom he was also a key booker for many promotions that he worked for including WCW.
To put it best let me steal a line from WWE’S WHERE ARE THEY NOW feature of Kevin Sullivan from 2007 “Kevin Sullivan terrorized opponents all over the world with his methodical, aggressive and hardcore in-ring (and often outside the ring) tactics. From matchmaking to main-eventing, the New England native with the pronounced Boston accent has seen it all in sports-entertainment.”
This card also features the return of the great wrestling artist Rob Schamberger to the MWR Trading cards as he delivers an eerie look at one of wrestling’s most sadistic men ever in the world of pro wrestling.
It is with great excitement that Kevin Sullivan has agreed to team up to deliver a awesome trading card that you will not want to miss it.

The very first wrestler that I ever spoke to in lengths was one Bobby Jaggers. A rare hometown show twenty miles down the road from in Brunswick, Missouri was billed to feature hometown wrestler Orien (sp) Jones. Yet, it was two men on the card that got me excited other than the fact that I was going to get a chance to see my very first live wrestling show. First was local fan favorite Rufus R Jones, who I was a huge fan of and Bobby Jaggers who I had seen in PWI magazines along with partner Dutch Mantel.
As a young fan dreaming of being in the sport, I waited for the opportunity to speak to any wrestler much less a man who had been at war with a great such as a Dusty Rhodes. I was shocked to find out that Jaggers was more than happy to take the time to listen to my youth and exuberance on how to get in the sport while asking a million questions. For at least an hour, Jaggers sat with me in a time that I would never forget.
That would be the last time that I spoke to Jaggers and I certainly didn’t know him but when I always saw his name or someone talks about him that fond memory comes to my mind. I had always took it for granted that our paths would cross again and I would remind him of the day and thank him.
Unfortunately I would not have that chance.
Two sites have some great articles on Bobby Jaggers that I highly recommend that you take the time to look into the life and times of Bobby Jaggers.
