SHIMMER – WOMEN ATHLETES is pleased to announce the addition ofMISS NATURALandTAYLOR MADEto the list of confirmed competitors for the SHIMMER 49-52 tapings, coming up on Saturday & Sunday, October 27th & 28th at the Berwyn Eagles Club!

In what may be considered an unexpected addition to the SHIMMER 49-52 talent pool, twelve year veteran of the squared circleMiss Naturalsteps back into the SHIMMER ring in less than three weeks. Natural had an all too brief initial run in SHIMMER action as part of the SHIMMER 21 & 22 tapings in October of 2008, before taking an extended hiatus from active competition in professional wrestling.

As of late, Miss Natural has been in the midst of a career resurgence, appearing on wrestling events multiple times per week throughout the Central States, Mid-South, and Upper Midwest regions of the country. Natural is a no nonsense athlete with multiple training influences under her belt, including wrestling greats Ken Patera and former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race.

Though SHIMMER fans and the other women on the roster didn’t have a true opportunity to find out what Miss Natural brings to the table during her initial SHIMMER stint, they will certainly get that chance when she returns to the Eagles Club for SHIMMER 49-52 to mix it up with the current crop of SHIMMER stars.

One of the wrestlers who has seen far too little SHIMMER action over the past few years is Taylor Made. Originally based in the Chicago area, Taylor has won some and lost some on the SHIMMER undercard during her sporadic appearances, but has recently made some major changes. Now based in Tampa, Florida, Taylor was one of the first women signed to be a part of the events run by SHIMMER’s sister promotion SHINE in Ybor City. Taylor quickly formed the new “Made In Sin” tag team unit with Detroit’s Allysin Kay, which has been quite successful thus far as part of the SHINE tag team division. With Allysin also making her SHIMMER main show debut on SHIMMER 49-52, things could get even more interesting for the Berwyn tag team scene less than three weeks from now, as both women will be in the Eagles Club looking to make an impact.

SHIMMER – WOMEN ATHLETES returns to the Berwyn Eagles Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL on Saturday & Sunday, October 27th & 28th, 2012. Bell time on Saturday, October 27th is 2pm. Volumes 49 & 50 of the SHIMMER series will be filmed on Saturday. Bell time on Sunday, October 28th is 1pm. Volumes 51 & 52 of the SHIMMER series will be filmed on Sunday.

Officially announced thus far for participation in the SHIMMER 49-52 events are: SHIMMER Champion Sweet Saraya Knight, SHIMMER Tag Team Champions The Canadian Ninjas, Cheerleader Melissa, MsChif, Mercedes Martinez, Allison Danger, Leva Bates, Hiroyo Matsumoto, Ryo Mizunami, Kana, Tomoka Nakagawa, Athena, Christina Von Eerie, Allysin Kay, Yumi Ohka, Kellie Skater, Shazza McKenzie, Rhia O’Reilly, Davina Rose, Kc Spinelli, Melanie Cruise, Veda Scott, Sassy Stephie, Miss Natural, and Taylor Made. More names will be revealed during the remaining weeks leading up to the events. Over 30 of the top female wrestlers from around the world will be a part of the festivities!

Front row seating is already sold out for the entire weekend. General admission tickets are still available, at a cost of $30 per full day of taping (two full length DVDs per day, so essentially $15 per DVD worth of live matches). Yuletide Terror 2012

Yuletide Terror is a event that has made wrestlers stars in the Saint Louis area for almost 10 years. Rather it was Adam Raw and Frankie Big Balls falling off a ladder through three tables, or the night where Adam Raw fell to the loveable Gary the Barn Owl for the LWA title, or the night the under dog Shorty Biggs won the main event and a championship. Yuletide Terror has always been a magical night and Yuletide Terror 2012 may be the biggest one yet.

Metro Pro Wrestling returns to Turner Rec Center in Kansas City, KS, on Saturday, October 6, for our next television taping for Metro Sports! Doors open at 6 p.m., and bell time is 7 p.m.

One HUGE match has been announced for October 6! It will be the 2nd-Annual TAG TEAMMAGEDDON! The Kansas City Killers will be facing the Schmitt Marks in 4-on-4 Elimination Tag Action. All survivors will receive a title shot of their choice!
