A letter to the SLA fans (Injury and Circus Maximus 2013 info) Khris Wolfe vs. Gary Jay in a 10,000 Thumbtack match.

By Pierre Abernathy

As match maker of Saint Louis Anarchy I my number one responsibility is to you the fans and I have some news to share as it relates to Circus Maximus 2013.

As you know from following our live events Gary Jay has been in quite the heated feud with Rachel Summerlyn. At Gateway to Anarchy we saw Jay attack Rachel which lead to the shocking attack by Dan Walsh. This attack hurt Rachel and that is why she is not on the upcoming The Calm Before event. However Rachel was slated to come back at Circus Maximus 2013 to headline with Gary Jay in a 10,000 thumbtack match.

I am saddened to report that Rachel has learned from her doctor that she cannot compete as of now and due to a lingering neck injury she will need to be out of action for some time. I want to take this time to wish Rachel Summerlyn a speedy recovery and to also thank her for all the hard work she has done for the Anarchy brand. She is a example of a athlete that legit gave you her body in the ring and for that she deserves your thanks.

Saint Louis Anarchy is built on the principle of having a roster of the best wrestlers in the USA as well as a group of hungry up and coming guys who want to break out and show what they can do to a bigger audience. I am proud that under our banner people have seen guys like Davey Vega, ACH, Mat Fitchett, Gary Jay and others grow. As well as watching people learn how good guys like The Hooligans, Evan Gelsitico, Dan Walsh and Darin Corbin are. Too round that out happen to be some of the best wrestlers in the world like Davey Richards, TJ Perkins, Kyle O’ Reilly and Arik Cannon.

Then you have the up and coming and guys looking to make a statement. Guys like Jo Jo Bravo and Bolt Brady. Wrestlers like Jordan Lacey who have been around the area for years giving you everything they have to entertain you. I am proud to give these men and woman a stage to preform and try and become stars in wrestling. So its with that I say at Circus Maximus 2013 I will give someone a chance to show you all what he can do, A chance to main event what you the fans have made the biggest show of the year for us. At Circus Maximus 2013 Khris Wolfe will step in and face Gary Jay in a 10,000 Thumbtack match.

Allot of you may not know much about Khris Wolfe. Wolfe was trained by the wrestler known as The Necro Butcher and has fought in hardcore/death matches all over the state of Texas. Wolfe has made appearances for Saint Louis Anarchy before but nothing like what will happen at Circus Maximus. Known for his vicious elbow strikes he may be one of the only guys on the roster who can match Gary Jay in the striking department.

Wolfe was the hand picked replacement by myself as well as Rachel when we learned she would be unable to compete. This will be the first ever 10,000 thumbtack match in the history of SLA and as far as I am aware the history of Saint Louis area wrestling. It will be brutal, bloody and insane…… It will be the Circus Maximus 2013 main event.

Japan is about to get “DirdEY” !

Posted by flairwhoooooo on April 10, 2013

In less than a year “DirdEY” Jake Dirden has accomplished more than many wrestlers can only dream of. The Dynamo Pro Wrestling student has sought out the toughest of men to battle while trying to learn from the best that the sport has to offer.

With a natural talent and a great look wrestling promoters in the Midwest have been clamoring to get him in the ring, while fans have been thrilled to see that happen. Standing at 6’8″ and weighing in a total of 253 pounds he has traveled to the top promotions in the Midwest including Ohio Valley Wrestling, Metro Pro Wrestling, Southern Illinois Championship Wrestling, 3XWrestling, Mid Missouri Wrestling Association and Dynamo Pro Wrestling.

Dynamo Pro owner “Evil” Jim Yount, who has worked with the likes of Evan Bourne (Matt Sydal), Delirious, Dingo, MsChif and Daizee Haze had this to say about Dirden “From day one of his training, I could tell he had the “it factor”. I knew he would be going places. We are extremely proud of him and all that he has accomplished in such a short time.”

TNA GUTCHECK ST. LOUIS 10-27-12 – Photo credit TNA Website.

Dirden took part in TNA’S Gut Check in St. Louis on October of 2012, shortly after that he traveled to Eldon Missouri, for Harley Race’s annual WLW/ WWE and Pro Wrestling Noah camp. He was chosen from the trainers to take part in the weekend show at the end of the camp to see if he could impress them in live action as much as he did during the weekend long camp. The results was in after an impressive match against Mizfitt Manners the powers to be at Japan’s Pro Wrestling NOAH quickly offered Dirden the opportunity to work with them in 2013.

This past weekend inside a Dynamo Pro ring in Glen Carbon, Illinois, Jake Dirden was able to defeat Ricky Cruz, a man who in the past year and half has only been defeated clean in the ring once. This win should give him the confidence as he heads to Japan to train in one of the most respected, hardest working dojos in the world.

So mark your calender for this day in history as the time has come this week for the Dirden to invade Japan, and just as his Midwest opponents have found out that Jake Dirden is a man that will leave his mark wherever he goes.

TJ Perkins has wrestled around the world with many of the top promotions including Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Dragon Gate USA, Evolve and in Japan for New Japan Pro Wrestling.

TJ Perkins high flying moves has brought the fans to their feet with moves such as the 520° corkscrew springboard tornado DDT and 450° splash.

Right here in the Midwest fans have been thrilled to see Perkins in action recently at Metro Pro Wrestling where he challenged Jeremy Wyatt for the MPW title as well as St. Louis Anarchy. Are you planning on attending a wrestling show? How can you tell if the show you are going to is gonna be a disappointment? Darin Corbin will help analyze what the characteristics are of a terrible wrestling show. Be warned. Don’t be duped into a crappy wrestling show.
