Under the Mat Radio is a show about the current events and happenings in the world of Professional Wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts. We want to give the many fans of one of the greatest wrestling cities a chance to be heard as well as the great fans all around the world. This show is made for the fans by 2 people (Tech and NSC Gameboy) who are huge fans. Under the Mat Radio will cover all brands of wrestling such as WWE, TNA, ROH, as well as local promotions and other Independent promotions. Under the Mat Radio is also blessed to have won Best New Wrestling Show of 2013 award by the Wrestling Radio Awards. Various topics will be discussed about the current product as well as how the product used to be in the past. Guest Hosts included on the show include local talent (wrestlers, managers, bookers, and referees) as well as WWE Legends and former Stars from WCW/WWF/AWA/ECW and more. Wrestling headlines, news, deaths, rumors and Fantasy Wrestling also will be covered; trivia and different games will be held for the listeners to win prizes. Some segments will also include MMA and UFC Fighters/Legends.

TECH AND THE NSC GAMEBOY

TECH WAS KNOWN AS THE “MIRACLE BABY” GROWING UP. HE WAS A PREMATURE BABY, AND WAS NOT GIVEN MUCH CHANCE TO SURVIVE HIS BIRTH. HE WAS BORN AND RAISED IN BALTIMORE CITY, MARYLAND AND A GRADUATE OF EDMONDSON WESTSIDE HIGH SCHOOL IN 2002. HE HAS EARNED HIS A.A DEGREE IN ART FROM CCBC, CATONSVILLE. HE IS WELL KNOWN THROUGHOUT THE PWKGW NETWORK, AND AROUND THE WRESTLING COMMUNITY FOR BEING A SOCIAL BUTTERFLY, AND SOMEBODY WHO WILL DO WHATEVER HE CAN TO LEND A HELPING HAND. HE IS A MULTI TALENTED INDIVIDUAL, AS AN ARTIST, A MUSICIAN SPECIALIZING IN BASS GUITAR, AND A COMPUTER TECHNICIAN. HE BEGAN WATCHING WRESTLING IN 1987 AND HAS REMAINED A DIE HARD “TECHNICAL” FAN EVER SINCE. HE HAS BEEN KNOWN TO BE QUITE TALKATIVE, AND THAT COMBINED WITH HIS PASSION FOR PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING IS WHAT MADE HIM A MUST LISTEN RADIO HOST ON UNDER THE MAT RADIO.

THE NSC GAMEBOY WAS BORN IN WEST BALTIMORE, MARYLAND. HE BEGAN PLAYING VIDEO GAMES PROFESSIONALLY 10 YEARS AGO, AND HAS MANAGED TO SEGUE THAT INTO A CAREER IN MEDIA BUSINESS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PROMOTION AND MUSIC. HE STARTED HIS OWN BUSINESS IN 2006, ENTITLED “NEVER STOP COLLECTING” ENTERTAINMENT. AFTER THE LAUNCH OF HIS NEW PLATFORM, HE BEGAN MANAGING TWO R&B GROUPS, A SOLO R&B/GOSPEL ARTIST, AND TWO HIP HOP ARTISTS. IN 2008, HE RELEASED A SOLO HIP HOP ALBUM DUBBED “INSERT COIN”, WHICH DEBUTED TO POSITIVE REVIEWS WITH TWO SINGLES FROM THE ALBUM BEING FEATURED ON XM SATELLITE RADIO. IN LATE 2009, HE BEGAN A YOUTUBE SHOW ENTITLED “THE ARCADE BOOGIE SHOW” WHICH REACHED MODERATE FANFARE, AND EVEN GARNERED THE ATTENTION OF G4 TV. IN 2011, HE RELEASED A SECOND HIP HOP ALBUM ENTITLED “HITTING RESET.” WITH HIS SOPHOMORE EFFORT REACHING NEW HEIGHTS OF SUCCESS, HE WAS INSPIRED TO DESIGN HIS OWN MOBILE APP IN EARLY 2012, WHICH IS CALLED “NSC GAMEBOY.” IN 2013, HIS ACCOLADES CULMINATED IN GAMEBOY BECOMING THE CO HOST OF UNDER THE MAT RADIO. THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING NEW IN STORE FOR THE EVER ENTERTAINING NSC GAMEBOY, AND HE IS ALWAYS READY FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGE.
