Scott Kessler joins us today to talk about his new documentary, Wrestless.  The film is a 100-minute journey into the lives of the wrestlers and personnel behind Kansas City’s famed Metro Pro Wrestling promotion.  The feature debuts on June 14 at Metro Pro’s reunion event.

In St. Louis, the action has heated up.  Ron Powers must leave SICW and Brandon Espinosa’s Elitism is taking over the MMWA.  The boys preview Dynamo Pro at Off Broadway on Tuesday, the 27th.

Also, Bellator MMA hosted its first pay-per-view last Saturday.  What were the expectations and could King Mo and Rampage Jackson live up to them?

Ted DiBiase, Rip Hawk and Wilbur Snyder will officially join the St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame June 21st

Posted by flairwhoooooo on May 20, 2014

SICW

Ted DiBiase, Rip Hawk and Wilbur Snyder will officially join the St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame when DiBiase visits the SICW card in East Carondelet, Ill., Saturday, June 21.

This Hall of Fame was designed to specifically honor those personalities involved in making the Wrestling at the Chase time period from 1959 to 1983 a truly Golden Era of professional wrestling. Membership has been limited so that the concentration was placed on those who helped make wrestling in St. Louis so special and unique at the time.

A million dollars of talent and charisma, DiBiase was an exciting superstar before the WWE ever came calling.

The late Snyder was a class act loaded with skill and fire, a regular main event performer from the 50s to the 70s.

When Wrestling at the Chase began, the late Hawk was a major factor in making the show the hottest must-see in St. Louis.

In addition to the induction of DiBiase June 21, a hot tag battle headlines the action as Heath Hatton and Daniel Eads, the Young Lions, collide with Ricky Cruz and Classic Champion Ironman Ken Kasa.

Following is the complete list of those in the St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Help fund Ring Sirens on Indiegogo!

Posted by flairwhoooooo on May 20, 2014

 photo ringsirenapril_zpscc0e8515.jpg

Dear Reader,

Ring Sirens magazine is one of the hottest and newest professional wrestling magazines on the planet today. As Founder & Owner of Ring Sirens, I am very happy to see where Ring Sirens has gone over the course of a year. We launched our website in April of 2013, and released our first Ring Sirens Magazine two months later, in June of 2013. Ring Sirens is a magazine and website, “Showcasing the stars of yesterday, today, and tomorrow, in women’s professional wrestling”. Since our first issue, we have released an issue each month, and are set to release our 12th issue in the month of May 2014. Our monthly magazine is distributed worldwide via print-on-demand for $5.99 CAD featuring the best in Women’s Professional Wrestling from WWE to promotions and wrestlers from around the globe to bring both the casual and hardcore wrestling fan a unique and unbiased view into the World of Women’s Professional Wrestling.

Ring Sirens has showcased and interviewed some of the top women wrestlers from around the world. Some names include, Mia Yim, Kacee Carlisle, Xandra Bale, Courtney Rush, Leah Von Dutch, Shanna, LuFisto, Santana Garrett, Evie, Hania, Trina Michaels, Heidi Lovelace, Riea Von Slasher, Tatevik, Beautiful Beaa, Jasmin, Ivelisse Velez, and Cherry Bomb. Today we have a dedicated staff of 5-8 writers that bring you the best articles in women’s wrestling every month.

Ring Sirens travels across North America to promote our brand as well as independent wrestling promotions at various venues. We have created a presence in the local wrestling communities in Kitchener-Waterloo, Toronto, Montreal, New Jersey, Cleveland and Chicago, and are looking to expand our brand personally across other cities in North America. We have also worked with and collaborated with various independent wrestling promotions across North America to promote their events in our media outlets. Such companies like, Shimmer Women Athletes, Women Superstars Uncensored, NCW: Femmes Fatale, Xtreme Bombshells of Wrestling, Absolute Intense Wrestling, Pure Wrestling Association, and Conflict Wrestling.

e have put well over $6000+ dollars in Ring Sirens for our magazine, website and web TV (which is still on hiatus). Unfortunately, Ring Sirens has been running low on funds, and at this rate, we will have to pull back and release our magazine quarterly throughout the year, and put our web TV on indefinite hiatus. With our next magazine release to be in August/September.

With your help and support, we can bring back Ring Sirens Magazine to a monthly release and kick off RingSirensTV.

We need your help!

Yours sincerely,

Tyler Prattis
Founder/Owner of Ring Sirens
