The American Bulldogs Jon West and Mark McDowell  The reigning MWR Tag Team of the Year has had a target on their backs in 2013. Starting the year off they were able to retain the titles against the Bumrush Brothers before the King Brothers was able to defeat them for the titles. The Bulldogs came up short as they looked to win the Pro Wrestling Phoenix tag team titles in May and in Magnum Pro Wrestling in tag action. Can the reigning MWR Tag Team of the year rebound to become a two time Tag Team of the Year?
The Hooligans  Devin and Mason Cutter- The former MWR Tag Team of the Year the Hooligans currently own the Zero 1 tag Team championship after defeating fellow former MWR Tag Team of the Year the Kentucky Buffet, has picked up wins against Gary Jay & Alexander Rudolph. Darren Dean & Aaron Solo, Davey Richards & Kyle O’Reilly . Became the first tag team to headline a St. Louis Anarchy card against Davey Vega and ACH in a draw with a victory over Evan Gelistico & Gary Jay . The brothers have picked up wins against IF LOOKS COULD KILL, as well as Zero Gravity at NMW. Add it all together and they hold the Proving Ground Wrestling, Zero-1 and Strictly insane tag Team titles, and have been calling for a chance to regain the Metro Pro Wrestling tag titles that they never got a chance to regain after losing them. Outside the area they have thrilled fans from Texas to New Jersey.
Brandon Espinosa and Ace Hawkins– The current PWC Tag Team champions has been dominate against the likes of Alex Castle & Angelus Layne, The Submission Squad(Evan Gelistico & Pierre Abernathy) and the KOA. Espy and Ace have teamed at Pro Wrestling Epic and many promotions outside the area.
The Bumrush Brothers(Shorty Biggs and Outtkast)– Has defended the Dynamo Tag Team championship against Travis Cooks men Ken Kasa & Dave Vaughn and former WLW Tag Team champs Jon Web and Jack Gamble. Traveled to 3XW to take on the American Bulldogs for their belts in January in a classic match.
Evan Gelistico & Pierre Abernathy-The Metro Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions has been in control since defeating the Hooligans with wins against Davey Vega & Mat Fitchett, contended for the PWC and PWE Tag titles.
Zero Gravity – Brett Gakiya & CJ Esparza– Defeated Team Overkill – Christian Rose & Matt Cage and Bobby Houston & Dan Lawrence to win the first ever Proving Ground Wrestling tag titles . Defended them against Mario Crivello & Bobby Valentino before losing the titles to the Hooligans.
Ryan Drago & Elvis Aliaga (Stache and Burns) – Defended the WLW Tag titles against The Black Hand Warriors , High Level Enterprises, before losing to Tucker and Wallace. With Drago on the way to WWE Developmental their quality reign at WLW will be what they can hang their hat on.
Britton Tucker & Kris Wallace-Shocked Ryan Drago and Elvis Aliaga for the WLW titles, this young team will have a target on there back.
Abu Colossus & Hype Gotti- Won the vacant PWP Tag Team titles by def. The American Bulldogs and Cheap & Dirty’s Team Lariat in an elimination 3 way dance. A New team of PWP legends that will need a huge last 6 months to be considered in the tag team of the year talks.
A great year of tag teams in 2013, who will take home the honor of being named the 2013 MWR Tag Team of the Year?
The 12th edition of RingSyders on MWR is available now.  Ben Simon, Drew Abbenhaus, and Mikey G will host big action.
This is the guy who beat John Cena and Triple H within a week! Curtis Axel and the Uso brothers get new life in WWE. We discuss in the debut of the new segment, Simon Time.
Slammiversary is in the book and Sting failed. The legend can no longer challenge for the TNA Title. Who is left to dethrone Bully Ray? Also, after losing to Kurt Angle, where does the rebel A.J. Styles go from here?

Miss Natural- The reigning Missouri Wrestling Revival female wrestler of the year shows so no sign of slowing down. In 2013 she has returned to SHIMMER AND Steel domain wrestling , made apparances at AAW and been featured on IPPV. In April she once again won Harley Race’s World League Wrestling championship by defeating Stacey O’Brien to become a 6 time champion . O’Brien would regain the title but Natural continues to star at Metro Pro Wrestling and was able to pick up a win against Angelus Layne at 3XWrestling
Stacey O’Brien – The two time MWR Female Wrestler of the Year lost the WLW Ladies title for a moment against arch rival Miss Natural but has since regain the title. One of the most talented women in wrestling today she will need to seek more challenges outside her homebase if she hopes to become a 3 time MWR Female Wrestler of the Year
Thunderkitty –A newcomer to the MWR Coverage area, Thunderkitty hopes to make her mark in 2013. At Zero One she has been overpowering Allie Kat and Jason Vendetta on a few occasions She has also been at odds with young Serenity Matches at Resistance Pro and Girl Fight IPPV. A young talent that is picking up momentum heading into the end of 2013.
Angelus Layne – Layne continues to impress and pick up huge wins and exciting matches. A key partner of Brandon Espinosa at St Louis Anarchy, she was instrumental in them getting the win against Reed Bentley & Heidi Lovelace in April to back up her win against Jessica Havok at the first of the year at Anarchy. Pro Wrestling Illustrated covered her victory over Miss Natural in her debut at Metro Pro Wrestling and the two are 1-1 after a loss to Natural at 3XWrestling. She has been a force at Pro Wrestling Collision defeating Twinkie Starr by KO and teamed with Alex Castle in a losing effort for the PWC Tag Titles. At Zero-One she was able to defeat Serenity in a cage as well as make an appearance at SHIMMER proving that she is a true treat to the 2013 MWR Female of the Year.
The Great Cheyenne – A slow start in the MWR Coverage area for the Great Cheyenne. Having a feud with Thunderkitty at Zero-One at the moment and continues to be booked around the country.
Lucy Mendez – The Latino princess was able to capture a huge victory over Jessica James then back it up with a suprising win over the Iceman. The Metro Pro Wrestling’s diva is a favorite but lack of competition in and out of the area will keep this wrestler/model from making a run for the title of MWR Female of the Year unless there is a big change at the end of 2013.
Who of these girls will be able to win the honor of being named the MWR Female wrestler of the year or will a women emerge to steal the spotlight on these talented ladies.
