MWR Trading card Series two #11 Pete Sanctions

For the first Missouri Wrestling Revival is proud to bring you the fans the first ever trading card featuring a man that is both a referee and an announcer to the MWR trading card set.

Born with mild cerebal palsy, Pete Sanctions never let a disability or limitations deter him for pursuing the professional wrestling business. Debuting as a Ring Announcer in August 2003 at the age of 16 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Pete would go on to announce all over the Midwest from Iowa to Kansas, Illinois and beyond. Sanctions enthusiastic personality and booming introductions are common place wherever he goes. Since 2008, Pete has been official ring announcer for MAGNUM Pro, based in Council Bluffs.

In 2010, Pete Sanctions decided to add stripes to his wardrobe, débuted as a referee for Adrenaline Pro Wrestling out of Milo, Iowa. It was a tough transition from observing at ringside to being right in the middle of the action, but soon after he expanded to Central Empire Wrestling and 3XWrestling. A year later, Sanctions began training at the MAGNUM Pro Dojo in Council Bluffs, but withdrew after the 1st Semester due to injury. But not before participating in a training seminar with then 4 time NWA World Heavyweight Champion “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce in January of that year.

Pete Sanctions continues to perform in both roles today, and occasionally becomes part of the show, appearing as the last entrant in the Chip Douglas Memorial Battle Royal in August 2012, being eliminated by Abu Colossus. Whether on the road, in the locker room, in the ring or on the mic, Pete Sanctions is a perfect example of a kid with a dream and an undeniable passion for the art form he loves more than anything in the world!

These cards are limited and are not mass produced making them highly collectable.

SICW continues to bring the fans a 2013 to remember- Midgets, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Roger Deem on all tap

Missouri Wrestling Revival just received confirmation from promoter Herb Simmons of huge wrestling news at SICW.

This weekend we announced that WWE Hall of Fame Wrestler Hacksaw Jim Duggan is set to appear in East Carondelet, Illinois in October 19, 2013. But the year is full on excitement that you will not want to miss.

Fans do not forget that this weekend SICW returns on Saturday Night June 15th with a huge main event featuring CWC title match with Champion Ricky Cruz meeting Ron Powers in an all-out war for the championship.

Also in attendance will be former Wrestling at the Chase photographer Roger Deem, who is the author of the wonderful new book The Strap: A Complete History of Sam Muchnick’s Missouri State Championship.

Every true wrestling fan should have in their collection with photos and commentary by one of pro wrestling great photographers in pro wrestling.

Kymberly and Roger Deem hopes to meet you this Saturday night.

Beautiful Bobby Dean also starred in the “Half Pint Brawlers” is one of the midget wrestlers featured in the Spike TV reality docu-drama and entertained fans with his “luchador” style of wrestling, which consists of high flying off the ropes.

2013 Harley Race Wrestling Camp Announced

Harley Race and World League Wrestling are pleased to announce it’s next week-long training camp! Dates are scheduled for November 11th through November 15th, ending on November 16th with the cap-off wrestling event that will be scheduled to take place in Eldon, Missouri.

This camp has participants from all over the world coming to learn from the “Greatest Wrestler on God’s Green Earth” and 8-Time NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion, Harley Race. This is the 14th year that the Harley Race Wrestling Academy has put on this camp, and has had hundreds of aspiring professional wrestlers come through to take advantage of this unique and prosperous opportunity.

Alongside of Harley Race being in attendance, there will also be representatives from both Pro-Wrestling NOAH and WWE in attendance. Guest trainers will soon be announced throughout the summer and leading up to the training camp itself. Former trainers include (but are not limited to): William Regal (WWE), Pro-Wrestling NOAH Superstar and former heavyweight champion Takeshi Morishima, Former GHC Heavyweight Champion and wrestling legend Kenta Kobashi, GHC Heavyweight Champion KENTA, WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, Naomichi Marufuji, Muhammad Yone, Takeshi Suguira, John Laurinaitis, and many more!

From this camp, participants will be able to learn the sound fundamentals that Race has taught for 15 years now, and have the best in the world help them reach the individual’s dream. Also, some participants will have the opportunity to be recruited to train at the Pro-Wrestling NOAH Dojo in Tokyo, Japan. Prior participants include Shane Haste, Mikey Nicholls, Patrick Fitzgerald, Ross and Marshall Von Erich, Jason Jones, Ritchie Steamboat, Keith Walker, Ted DiBiase Jr., Jake Dirden, Kyle Sebastian, and many others.

There are also opportunities to be scouted by WWE Talent Relation Representatives to land WWE contracts. Camp participants that have earned developmental deals from this camp in years past include Trevor Murdock, Ted DiBiase Jr., Joe Hennig (now WWE star Curtis Axel), WWE Referees Ryan Tran and John Cone, Ritchie Steamboat, Ryan Collins, Ace Steele, Keith Walker, and more.

Missouri Wrestling Revival fans in 2013 has had a thrill ride of wrestling with the heroes of the past along with the stars of today. Fresh off the double shot weekend at the Argosy Casino with the legends of the Wrestling at the Chase and Butch Reed the following weekend comes the huge announcement of former WWE Superstar Hacksaw Jim Duggan coming to East Carondelet , Illinois on October 19^th !

SICW in East Carondelet, Illinois is set to return next Saturday June 15^th with a CWC title match as the champ Ricky Cruz defends his title against former champ Ron Powers. Be sure to set your calendar for the dates of SICW in 2013, where the wrestling is red hot and you never know who will show up.
