Howdy y’all,
It is my great pleasure to welcome y’all to, Ozark Mountain Championship Wrestling.
I’m Storm Davis and it’s a true Dream come true for me to finally get this promotion up and running, it’s 29 years in the making and many years in the planning.
Let me first start out with stating that we are not affiliated with the WWE, TNA, NWA or the new Jeff Jarrett promotion. We are a regional independent promotion, and wish to keep it that way.
Many promotions have come along that claim to be “old school” or “the way it was”, but didn’t really come through or after only a short time, were little more than copy cats of the WWE. Not gonna be that way with us.
We’re gonna keep to some good, down home principles that the Ozarks was, and continues to be based on. Honesty, loyalty, friendliness and, the best of the Ozarks traits, good ol’ Country FUN.
I can go ahead and give you a basic breakdown of how most of our shows will go, we’ll have specific matches at each event; Main Event (of course), a Legends Match, Ladies Match, and a Three Person Elimination Match, along with a host of others matches, usually 7 in all.
Elimination matches have always been a favorite of mine and tend to be a favorite of the fans, and it is them who I try to give the best I can. It will usually be the guys in this one, but once in a while the ladies might just take over this match.
We are planning on an, Ozark Mountain Heavyweight Championship, probably awarded about 12 to 24 months after the first card takes place. For this we have 2 things planned, each title match will be a, Best of 3 Falls Match and the method we have planned for seating our tournament is going to be very unique and will give the athletes big incentive to go all out, in all their matches leading up to that tournament.
Later on, we will add other titles to our promotion, but we want to start simply, by giving wrestling fans the best possible matches we can with some of The Best stars on the independent wrestling circuit today.
You’re going to see some very familiar names, and some that you will soon get to know, as we will be trying to serve as a platform for new and fresh talent to make a name for themselves.
Now, to have a truly great wrestling show, we need a lot of things; great athletes, referees, announcers, staff. But, THE Most Important part is YOU, The Fans, it is you who inspire us to do what we do, and we need you to be a vocal and active part of this promotions growth.
