David Wilson: Zakk, I want to say thank you for doing this.

Zakk Sawyers: Thanks for having me.

David: What inspired you to get into wrestling?

Zakk: I mostly got into wrestling because I love the athleticism and the entertainment value.

David: Who has been your biggest supporter?

Zakk: I would have to say first and foremost my mom, and some other guys in the business like Matt Cage, Christian Rose and Devin Cutter. to name a few.

David: Who did you train under?

Zakk: Curly and Mike Masters, SIWE out of West Frankfort IL, which is sadly no longer in business.

David: To date, who has been your toughest opponent?

Zakk: The 3 that come to mind are Trevor Murdoch, Johnny Gargano and Mikey McFinnigan.

David: If you could wrestle anyone, who would it be?

Zakk: would honestly have to say Steve Corino, I feel I could learn a lot from him.

David: Pick any partner, Which tag team would you most love to wrestle ?

Zakk: I would have to pick Alex Shelley as my partner, I have alot of respect and admiration for him. I would want to go against the Bucks, they are one of the hottest tag teams right now.

David: I think one of the questions most people want to know is, how did you and Mikey McFinnigan come up with the name Roscoe Eats Lisa?

Zakk: Smiling and kind of chuckling, We have a personal friend that every time we want to hangout with him he is always for it, but he always has excuses as to why he can’t , excuse for this and excuse for that. One day we were sitting there and asked him why he didn’t show up and he he said “Roscoe eats Lisa”. We knew from then on that was the name we would use. Roscoe is the name of my friends dog and Lisa is my friends mom.

David: What are some of your hobbies outside of the ring?

Zakk: Running to stay in shape and drinking beer and hanging out with the boys.

David: What can we expect from Zakk Sawyers the rest of 2015?

Zakk: Pretty much killing it in the ring, have some bad ass matches and stay healthy with no injuries.

David: And Lastly, Where do you see Zakk Sawyers in 5 years?

Zakk: Honestly, chasing the dream and no slowing down, get my name out there and hopefully wrestle in bigger organizations, and to hopefully one day wrestle in Japan.
