The new Official Missouri Rankings list, good through the year’s end, has been calculated and published.  Head over to the MO Rankings page for the latest publication.  To qualify for the Top 10, a wrestler must have the highest ratings with consistent activity (RD ≤ 175).  Rankings are published every two months.

MOVEMENTS & EXPLANATIONS

Forget the Top 10. To finish the year, only two wrestlers have maintained a rating and measure of activity to warrant being ranked on our list.

World League Wrestling Heavyweight Champion ^#1Derek Stone and ^#2Moses are the only ranked Missouri wrestlers. They have maintained winning records and activity, even during the pandemic.

This was an abbreviated period, with five events held.

The rankings system will not freeze during the COVID-19 event cancellations. While our abilities to hold events are limited, time is not limited. Time is a decay factor into the wrestlers’ rating numbers. In the months ahead, we will see wrestlers drop from this list through no fault of their own.

When events return regularly, the wrestlers’ ratings will be able to change rapidly based on a win or loss, much like when this system was in its infancy.
