Missouri Wrestling Revival

I have to admit, I only bought the book from Scott Romer because of the few times that I met him he was a heck of a nice guy. He had supported me and I promised him that if he ever published a book I would purchase it. Little did I know that this would become one of my favorite books in my personal collection.

I knew he had been around the squared circle for quite some time but I did not know the half of it. His new book is filled with a who’s who of wrestling and boxing stars as well as politicians from the past and today as he takes photos, manages and even wrestles. He even finds himself putting on the gloves for boxing matches. Add on 250 of his best photos and you have a match made in heaven.

The style of writing for the book was a pleasant surprise as the authors Romer, John Cosper and a slew of friends tell one tale after another in a comical and entertaining way that makes you feel as if you were there with him. I consider myself a wrestling historian and I learned a lot from this book with great stories of Bruiser Brody, Dick the Bruiser and some excellent boxing history as well.

If you love wrestling as a fan you have to admire the passion of Scott Romer in this book as he has lived our dream of being a part of pro wrestling around the world.
