Missouri Champion enters tournament for vacant Cape Wrestling title, Jan. 26

Cape Championship Wrestling is home at the A C Brase Arena in Cape Girardeau on Saturday, January 26.
A new CCW champion will be crowned in a one-night eight-man single-elimination tournament, after former champ (and MWR’s #1) Marko Stunt suffered a leg injury.
Adding to the excitement of the promotional championship, the Missouri champion Ace Hawkins is one of the entrants. He faces Brandon Espinosa in the first round.
MWR’s title rules state that our belt is always on the line in singles matches. If the champion is pinned or made to submit, there is a new State champ. Thus, the winner of this tournament will most likely be a double champion.
