LEBANON, Mo. – America’s two most fan-friendly sports will re-unite on Saturday, Aug. 4 when Ringside Championship Wrestling (RCW) and Lebanon I-44 Speedway present “Speedway Slam 2” featuring a night of pro wrestling and asphalt, short-track racing sponsored by El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant.

“Speedway Slam was a big hit last year,” said David Willard, co-owner of Lebanon I-44 Speedway. “We are excited to once again partner with RCW Wrestling for another special event for the 2018 season.”

The evening’s festivities will include three wrestling matches plus a guest appearance by wrestling legend “Wild Eyed Southern Boy” Tracy Smothers, who has competed all over the world for every major pro wrestling organization including the WWE, WCW, ECW, Smoky Mountain Wrestling and the USWA.

The line-up for the actual wrestling contests will feature the “Second City Saint” Ace Steel, Lucy Mendez, Air Raid, Laynie Luck and Camron Bra’nae. “Superstar” Steve Fender, who competed at last year’s show at the racetrack, returns to defend his RCW Heavyweight Championship against number one contender Kyle Roberts.

Adult admission is $15 each for grandstand admission and $15 each for tier parking, admitting fans to the evening’s races and the wrestling matches. Senior citizens and members of the military receive pricing discounts while children ages 10-and-younger are admitted free. Gates will open at 6 p.m. with the first match taking place around 7 p.m. during opening ceremonies and races starting at 7:30. The main event for the RCW Championship will take place during intermission of the racing action.

Lebanon I-44 Speedway, located at 24069 Route 66, presents asphalt short track racing every other Saturday evening thru September with a season finale set for Oct. 13.
