The Wrestle Talk Podcast with Joe and Rene is proud to announce that on Wednesday, August 9th, we will have two special guests on the program.
At 7:30 P.M., the Wrestle Talk Podcast will have the opportunity to speak with one of the most recognized voices in professional wrestling, Ben Simon, A native of St. Louis, Missouri, In August 2010, Ben Simon began his career as a professional wrestling announcer. Having a degree in broadcast journalism, Ben Simon has announced for many of professional wrestling promotions throughout the country, including Southern Illinois Championship Wrestling, Dynamo Pro Wrestling, Wrestling Invades America, Pro Wrestling Epic, Independent Hardcore Wrestling, and Glory Pro Wrestling. Presently, Ben Simon is the voice of the MMWA and NWL STL. Ben Simon has also contributed outside of the professional wrestling ring in many capacities. In addition to providing commentary for the MMWA television program and video products for several other professional wrestling promotions, Ben Simon was the host of the Ringsyders program on Missouri Wrestling Revival, and is the administrator of www.saintlouiswrestling.com.
At 8:30 P.M., the Wrestle Talk Podcast will have the opportunity to speak with professional wrestler and wine connoisseur Niles Plonk. Often accompanied by his man servant Belvedere, Niles Plonk resides in Napa Valley, California. In 1999, at the age of seventeen, Niles Plonk began in the world of professional wrestling in 1999 at the age of 17 after being trained by Sonny Myers. Over the course of his eighteen year career, Niles Plonk has wrestled throughout the mid-western United States, including 3WX, World League Wrestling, Metro Pro Wrestling, and the National Wrasslin’ League. Known for the “Grape Stomp” and the “Corkscrew Elbow”, Niles Plonk is also owner of the Windy Wine Company, located in Osborn, Missouri. In the last twelve years, the Windy Wine Company has produced many award winning wines.
