The Wrestle Talk Podcast with Joe and Rene is proud to announce that on Wednesday, July 5th, we will have severalspecial guests on the program.
At 7:05 P.M., the Wrestle Talk Podcast will be speaking with Dynamo Pro Wrestling’s Luke Roberts and Frodo “The Ghost” Meyer. Luke Roberts will be discussing Dynamo Pro Wrestling’s events for the month of July. Known for his green mohawkhairstyle and lyric stylings, Frodo “The Ghost” Meyer is an accomplished musician who has gone on tour with Twiztid and ABK. He has also performed at the Gathering of the Juggalos. Always one to be successful in many fields, Frodo “The Ghost” Meyer trained for his professional wrestling debut in February 2017 at the Dynamo Pro Wrestling Dojo in St. Louis, Missouri. Since his debut, Frodo “The Ghost” Meyer has used his wide knowledge of professional wrestling styles and his positive attitude to quickly gain a strong amount of fan support in Dynamo Pro Wrestling.
At 7:30 P.M., the Wrestle Talk Podcast will have the opportunity to sit down with “The Kingpin” Angel Medina. Early in his life, Angel Medina developed a love for professional wrestling. Training under the guidance of “Unpredictable” Johnny Rodz, Angel Medina made his professional wrestling debut in 1999. Many professional wrestling fans remember “The Kingpin” Angel Medina from his time with “The Baldies” in Extreme Championship Wrestling. After leaving Extreme Championship Wrestling in April 2001, Angel Medina traveled to the International Wrestling Association in Puerto Rico, winning the IWA Hardcore Championship on seven occasions.
At 8:30 P.M., the Wrestle Talk Podcast will have the opportunity to have a conversation with one of the most well-known tag-team wrestlers of the 1990’s, Stevie Ray. Making his professional wrestling debut in 1989 in Ivan Putski’s Western Wrestling Alliance, Stevie Ray achieved his greatest level of success as a tag team with his brother, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. In August 1993, Stevie Ray journeyed with his brother to World Championship Wrestling. Under the tag team name “Harlem Heat”, Stevie Ray went on to have an impressive ten reigns as the WCW World tag team champions. Later in his career, Stevie Ray made an impression as a singles competition, leaving Harlem Heat and joining the New World Order. In May 2000, Stevie Ray became a commentator on WCW Thunder. Known for such phrases as “yaks” and “Sucka’s gots to know!”,Stevie Ray brought a wrestler’s knowledge and expertise to the announce table. In 2005, Stevie Ray and Booker T opened “Booker T and Stevie Ray’s Pro Wrestling Academy in Houston, Texas. At the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, Stevie Ray inducted Booker T in to the WWE Hall of Fame. Most recently, you can catch Stevie Ray every Wednesday KCOH 92.9 FM as he hosts his weekly radio talk show “Straight Shooting with Stevie Ray”.
