Jason Roberts or Paco? One Challenges Espinosa at Resurgence Debut, July 23

The new promotion Pro Wrestling Resurgence debuts its inaugural card at The Ready Room in St. Louis’s The Grove district on Saturday, July 23. The startup has an impressive lineup.
The controversial Brandon Espinosa defends his MWR Missouri Heavyweight Championship against… the winner of Paco Gonzalez vs. Jason Roberts (who makes his MO singles debut) that same night.
Espy will be a heavy favorite against either man. With the wear-and-tear of the qualifier (for which Brandon took credit for organizing), Espinosa looks like a shoo-in for a successful fourth defense.
In the main event, the agile giant Kevin Lee Davidson takes on “2.0” Da’Marius Jones in a match where falls count anywhere in The Ready Room. Jones has a chance to wrest away KLD’s WIA gold at a non-WIA event!
