NOTE: Despite this post, the ratings were published on 9/5/14. The Dynamo Pro event (9/6/14) doesn’t factor in to these.
The fourth period of MWR’s computerized rating system is posted. In July and August, 12 events happened in the State.
Head over to the MO Rankings page for the latest performance publication. The first 19 wrestlers have competed consistently and have the most solid ratings; they could be considered “unofficial” rankings. After them, wrestlers are listed alphabetically.
I emphasize that most have not participated in enough singles matches to warrant a stable rating. Here are some facts:
The highest rated is Jake Dirden. The former Dynamo Pro Champion is a terror in the ring. Jake Dirden also had the best record this period at 3-0. In singles competition, “Dirdey” has won all eight of his matches in Missouri in 2014.
WLW’s Dustin Bozworth and John E. Rock had the worst records at 0-3 each. John E. Rock had been on a roll this year, winning in small towns where the fans were on his side. Through the past two months, no such success.
Once again, Brandon Espinosa had the most matches at 5. “Espy” is notable for crossing all promotional lines and wrestles every weekend somewhere.
For details on how the ratings work, read the Introduction
As the Glicko rating system continues to calculate the coming periods, we’ll see each active wrestler’s rating become accurate and stable. Eventually, an official “Top 10″ can be rendered.
The next release comes in early November.
