The secret to how I do so many paintings? I do several at the same time! This week I show you how I’m able to paint portraits of Dolph Ziggler, Mae Young, the Fabulous Moolah and Paul Orndorff at the same time, plus show off new paintings of Lou Reed, Magnus, Masa Saito, Tor Johnson, the Uso’s, Maria Kanellis and King Kong Bundy!

MWR Top Prospect #12 Devyn Nicole
Posted by flairwhoooooo on November 8, 2013
Devyn Nicole, originally from Queens, NY, now reigns supreme from her throne in Atlanta, GA. Not only is she gorgeous, but she brings to the table what only a select few females on the indies can. The beauty of a Victoria’s Secret model, the skill of a master marksman, the athleticism of a league MVP, the heart of a lion, the fight of a champion, and the talent only Devyn Nicole can have. After being trained at WWA4 in Atlanta by the World Renowned Curtis Hughes, Devyn has had 80 matches in her first year of in-ring competition.
She doesn’t plan to stop there, debuting in NWA, WLW, and capturing the AIWF Women’s World Championship! Her ability in the squared circle as well as her black-widow like skills on the mic, make Devyn Nicole a true gem to our business. She can only go up from here and amongst the stars in the sky is where she belongs.
Definitely one to keep an eye on, I’d bank on it!

Have your voiced heard on who should win the 2013 MWR Awards
Posted by flairwhoooooo on November 7, 2013
MWR fans, wrestlers and promoters it is that time of the year again where we ask YOU who is most deserving for the MWR Awards. I always dread the decision for this time of year for the fact that there are so many men and women that give their all to entertain you as well as drive many hours throughout the year for the love of pro wrestling. With that said, I hope that you will help us choose and support the winners of the MWR Awards.
I am seeking serious advice on who deserves the awards for these  categories
- Wrestler
- Female Wrestler
- Tag Team Wrestler
Key components that we consider for each award are
Championships– How can you be the best wrestler, if you were not even the flag bearer for a company that you have worked for in 2013? There is no shame in owning a secondary title but please know that it is what it is. Can a wrestler be the wrestler of the year without holding a main championship? Yes, but they better have a year that can be proven to better than the Champs around the Midwest. For the women there is only one MWR Promotion with a belt so therefore the belt is not a guarantee to win the MWR Female Award. Yet make no mistake about it the WLW Females Championship is very respected.
Wins and matches- We look at the competition that you defeated around the Midwest. If you are a champ but only worked one promotion or defended the title once or twice
Impact -Top stories and the impact that the wrestler had in the Midwest.
The least of importance because  award  is for what the wrestler did in our coverage area is accomplishments outside of our area. We do look at this if needed to determine a tie.
Down below I have shared with you a list of wrestlers that have won either Championships, tournaments or had a year that was deserving to be considered for the award. If by chance I am missing someone that is deserving for the award , all you have to do is send your nomination to flairwhoooooo@yahoo.com Subject MWR Awards. The more info that either the wrestler themselves, promoter or fans sends in to state their case for this award the better.
The MWR Awards committee will also be choosing internally the recipients for the MWR Lifetime Achievement and Future Star Award.

RingSyders: TNA Bound for Sale?
Posted by Ben Simon on November 6, 2013
The 26th edition of RingSyders on MWR is available now. Ben Simon and Drew Abbenhaus will host big action.
Is Total Nonstop Action Wrestling for sale? Janice Carter says, “No.” Is there a deeper story here? How does The Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan fit in the mix? Ben and Drew discuss the implications.
Also, Randy Orton and John Cena hold wrestling’s two biggest prizes. Could they rekindle their feud for a unification bout at WrestleMania?
NOTE: Their are 30 seconds of silence at the beginning of this week’s show.

Iowa Athletic Commission is proposing a new “athletic event” fee
Posted by flairwhoooooo on November 6, 2013
Link for details proposed changes to pro wrestling fees and regulations in Iowa and an email address to submit written.
http://www.iowaworkforce.org/labor/athletic.htm
Along with current taxes, the Iowa Athletic Commission is proposing a new “athletic event” fee – if this passes unchanged, it could have a crippling effect on the ability of many current promotions to continue running in Iowa.
There is a public hearing being held this afternoon and the Commission is encouraging the public to email their thoughts. Please let the Commission understand that there is a loyal wrestling fanbase in our state for small, independent promotions.
A group of us highly involved with pro wrestling in Iowa met with a Commission rep yesterday – it was a beneficial meeting in terms of educating about the economics of pro wrestling in our state. But, in order to enact change, the Commission has to hear from people either at the public hearing or via email to be taken into consideration!
If you appreciate live pro wrestling and the many the benefits it provides the state of Iowa, please help us educate the Commission. This also gives for you that enjoy MMA & boxing too, as they face their own challenges.
Thanks!
