Missouri Wrestling Revival

Thanks to promoter Herb Simmons and wrestling historian Larry Matysik plans for their annual anniversary show that is held each year in May is already shaping up to be another great celebration. The popular television program “Wrestling at the Chase” first aired in May of 1959. Now 53 years later MWR’s good friend Promoter Herb Simmons and Larry Matysik are continuing to make sure the fans remember those golden days of Wrestling by arranging to have another all-time great make a special appearance on Saturday May 19th at the East Carondelet Community Center, Jerry Brisco will be returning to the St. Louis area and will be at the show to meet and great all the great fans of the SICW-MMWA.

Jerry Brisco joins the list of several other greats that have helped celebrate the annual show, such greats as Harley Race, Baron Von Raschke, Rocky Johnson, Bob Orton, Ted Dibaise, and Dory Funk Jr have made appearances for Herb and Larry. Even though its two months away we here at MWR are pleased to be the first to announce this information to the fans. When you attend the show on April 21st in East Carondelet we suggest you get your tickets for the May 19th show. Herb Simmons has in the past had other surprises on the anniversary night and he has informed me this year will be no different.
