A look at Metro Pro Wrestling from September 4th in Kansas City

Posted by flairwhoooooo on September 12, 2010

By Brian Kelley

Less than a week ago we made our way to Kansas City for the first time all year for Pro Wrestling and we were on hand for Metro Pro Wrestling’s second ever show. The first show was taped and has been aired in the KC market for Metro Sports.

With the talent on the card I knew we were on hand for some great wrestling and I was excited about first ever tournament to crown the Metro Pro Wrestling TV Champion. On a personal level I was proud to see my good friend Josh Ray have the opportunity to work as the ring announcer for the evening.

Out of respect for the wishes of Metro Pro I will not be giving the results from the show so that we will not spoil the outcome for the fans that will be viewing the show when it airs on Metro Sports.

I will be giving you a small look at the sights of this exciting evening. So please enjoy and remember Metro Pro Wrestling Returns on October 2nd. Dont Miss it.

A favorite in the Midwest and the tournament Mike Sydal took on “Superstar” Steve Fender in the first round. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

The 2009 MWR Wrestler of the Year Mark Sterling look to add Metro Pro Wrestling Tv Champion to his resume. Was he able to get past the popular Derek Stone?(Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

Jeremy Wyatt and Tyler Cook has earned the MWR Match of the Year in the past, here they went at it again for the chance to continue in the tournament. (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

In the bright lights of Metro we got the chance to see Michael Strider take on Trevor Murdoch….Yes all of these are first round matches that could be main events anywhere in the country.(Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

Is Lucy Mendez the sexiest women in Pro Wrestling today? That’s what many fans tried to tell me after the show. Was she able to be the first ever women to get a win for Metro Sports in the womens division against the returning Stacey O’Brien who was the the 2008 MWR Wrestler of the Year ? On a side note, Lucy fans are dying to have a MWR Trading card of you even if you are a bad girl.(Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

Brett Young announced prior to the show that he was on the hunt for a valet and would be looking in the crowd for one lucky girl. Was he able to find the “One”?(Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

What is going on in this match? Look for an exciting match that had the crowd to its feet when KC Karrington went head to head against Midwest newcomer Josh FX (Photo Credit Brian Kelley)

In the first ever Harley Race graduate invitational match The Cancun Kid and Ethan Wright look to show who was the top student. Find out what WLW
