PWP returns with Jaysin Strife on August 21. Let’s look back at Strife take on the man who would become Evan Bourne.

Ask any fan in the MWR coverage area who they love or hate to see in action and you will hear the names Jeremy Wyatt, Mark Sterling, Dan the Man, Shane Rich, Trevor Murdoch and the Mississippi Madman.

All of them are very deserving to be among the top of the most talked about wrestlers in the game today. There are two men that are mainstays with Pro Wrestling Phoenix that I feel are two of the most entertaining and talented men anywhere and that is #1 Brett Young and Jaysin Strife.

Even though Strife defeated another exciting rising superstar in the sport Ryan Phoenix for the IWA-Midsouth Championship this past June 26th in Bellevue Illinois, he is still left out as one of the top stars in the sport.

Let’s put it this way, right now around the country football fans are gathering to choose teams for their Fantasy Football teams. If there was a MWR Fantasy Wrestling League there is no doubt that Strife is one of the picks that any promoter would want to have for his company.

Don’t believe me? Let’s take a look at a phenomanal match from February 4th, 2006, when Matt (Evan Bourne) defended his X Division Title against the up and coming Jaysin Strife in a Classic CSW (Central States Wrestling) Main Event.

Check out Jaysin Strife in action at Pro Wrestling Phoenix this coming Saturday at PWP

WRESTLING FANS! PWP is returning to its roots on AUGUST 21, 2010 when we present:

BATTLE OF THE PHOENIX 2010: RETURN TO KIRN

This is going to be a HUGE event, you will not want to miss it! Here is what’s going down!

*** BATTLE OF THE PHOENIX 2010

This is our annual 20 man over the top rope challenge! Two men start, and a new man enters every 90 seconds! The goal is to be the last man standing after all 20 competitors have entered! The winner of this match will face the PWP Heavyweight Champion in September’s main event! (Whether Tony Cortez is still champion or not!)

*** TONY CORTEZ DEFENDS HIS TITLE

“Babyface” Tony Cortez returns to PWP after a one month absence and will be defending his PWP Heavyweight Championship!

*** MATTY STARR VS “THE REBEL” JEREMY WYATT

In June, Matty Starr got the biggest win of his PWP career when he defeated Jeremy Wyatt. After the match, Wyatt assaulted Matty in very unsportsmanlike manner. Matty vowed revenge, but Wyatt was absent from the July event. Now that we have confirmation that both men will be in attendance in August, we have booked the rematch! You know this one is going to be wild!

*** ABU COLOSSUS VS PRESTON MAXWELL

Preston Maxwell has been on a roll in PWP, winning match after match with the GATOR ROLL CHOKE. Now he has a chance to prove how good he really is to the PWP fans, when he takes on Abu Colossus. Will Preston be able to make Abu submit? Or will Abu’s dominance over the PWP roster continue? You’ll have to see this one to find out!

*** PWP TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

Chris Havius & Donnie Peppercricket successfully defended their titles over the Beautiful Bodies (Brian Gott & Derek Cornell) in July. The Bodies have demanded a rematch and the Champions refuse to back down from any challenge!

*** TRIPLE THREAT ACTION!

PWP is known for creating exciting matches for the fans, and we have a great one here! The returning Sir Bradley Charles will face off against Supafli and Joey Daniels in an insane Triple Threat Match!

*** JIMMY ROCKWELL VS JAYDEN DRAIGO

“The Rockstar” Jimmy Rockwell makes his return to PWP and will be taking on the heinous Jayden Draigo in a one on one match. Rockwell will be looking to make an impact on the PWP fans while Draigo will be trying to continue his mayhem.

*** ZAC JAMES HAS A TITLE SHOT

At the anniversary show in May, Zac James won an “Anytime Anywhere Title Shot” in PWP! This means he can challenge either the Heavyweight Champion or the Tag Team Champions at any time! Will he cash in his title shot? Or will he continue to bide his time? You will only find out if you are there on August 21st!

Fans, I’m telling you, this is going to be an EPIC PWP show! Do not miss this one! Bring your friends and family!
